About: Hi! My name is Annalise, and I have been pet sitting since high school, for about six years now. Ever since then, it feels like I’ve found my passion. I’m an international affairs major at JMU, and a proud cat mom (the tabby)! Adopting my baby boy Alex soon (the first dog), who I’m training from the ground up. He’s a nervous boy but worth it! I’m willing to put in the work, and I can’t think of a better reward than the love of an animal. If you give me the honor to look after your babies, I promise I’ll care for them fiercely. I would also get to know them well so I could easily assess if any behaviors are out of the ordinary.

About: I have years of experience with dogs across all sizes, energy needs and care needs! I’m very fond of all critters and can’t wait to help you out! I’m working part-time over the summer and a fellowship (32 hrs/week) into the 26-27 year, but I’m very available to provide care— just send me a message! About: I have been around all kinds of animals my whole life. From rabbits, guinea pigs, hermit crabs, fish, a squirrel, dogs, and/or cats. I currently have a 2 year old high energy husky who loves to keep us on a schedule for his park visits and walks. I love all animals- all shapes and sizes- and would love to help you get your pup out for exercise and potty breaks or even visits in the home if you have a cat or caged animal that needs tending to while you work or travel! I work 12 hour shifts Saturday Sunday and Mondays so I am not available on those days. I am available anytime Tuesdays through Friday however. I have a 2 year old husky who keeps us on a very regimented routine. Once we have taken our kids to school he is ready for his daily trip to the local dog park in hopes we catch his doggy friends, where we spend at minimum an hour and by 3pm he is ready for his evening walk to burn up some of his energy!

About: My first dog was with me for 14 years and I now have an 11 year old. Raised like family and to be trail dogs. I walk twice a day and provide plenty of affection. I work from home. There is a morning walk and then an afternoon walk with potty breaks during the day. I can travel within the Massanutten and Elkton areas. I can keep them on the current feeding schedule and provide bathroom breaks as needed. Crates are acceptable and specific instructions followed. I have a friendly Fruggle who gets along with everyone. We do prefer dog friendly dogs.

About: I have taken care of and been around animals since I was a child. I had worked in Dog Daycares, walking dogs, and being a sitter for all kinds of animals. I can be gentle or authoritative with your pet while giving them love and kindness. My life is taking care of animals and loving them. I have plenty of free time to spend with your pets for walks, playtime, and so much more! I am quite strong to be able to hold tightly onto a leash if your animal is leash reactive. I am well versed in dog body language and can handle a hyperactive animal or a calm and cuddly baby.

About: Hi I’m Brandy 🙂 I am a mother to 5 amazing children, and we are on the Autism Spectrum 🥹 We all love animals and are exceptional animal caretakers (and little animal caretakers in training ☺️🤭). I have decades of animal care experience, working with cats, dogs, horses, and even giraffes, elephants, and antelopes! We own and operate a rabbitry with a focus on Flemish Giant rabbits and have somewhat of a “suburban homestead”, chickens, ducks, rabbits, gardens😌🤫🤭I have worked at multiple dog kennels, including free run facilities, and have worked at the SPCA and the Virginia zoo in Norfolk, Virginia. I have experience with and own German-trained protection dogs (Dobermans/German shepherds etc); we also have King Charles Cavalier spaniels. I am very careful, and responsible, and also very observant and intuitive to know exactly what your pet needs. I have 4 dogs that stay exclusively in the back part of the home and have access to the backyard. Doggies I am sitting stay exclusively in the front part of the home and have access to the front yard, so there is no interaction between my dogs. My dogs are friendly with other dogs but this arrangement just makes it easier and more comfortable for yours = )

For over a year I have volunteered at an animal shelter where I regularly walk, spend time with, and care for dogs with a variety of behaviors and energy levels. About: I have been around dogs my whole life, and I’ve had my own mini poodle for 5 years now. About: I have had cats and dogs all my life (along with a few other pets). I also volunteer with cats and dogs at an animal shelter and my job is at a doggy daycare center. I have taken two years of a veterinary science class as well. I’m currently working part-time at a doggy daycare center, so my schedule will vary from day to day. I will update my availability as necessary and as soon as possible. I will care for your pets at your home in any way I can. I will be able to feed your pets (as long as instructions are provided), play with your pets, and walk your pets.

Beyond growing up around cats and dogs, I have been pet sitting for friends and family for the last couple months so decide to come on here to see if I can help anyone else. About: Hi guys! My name is Hailey, a local to the valley, and trying to survive in my 20’s. I took a break from Rover as I was finishing college, started a new dental job, and I’m ready to come back! I have had many dogs since I was 7 years old, ranging from a 7lb dog to 80lbs. I have experience with many dog breeds and ages from owning them or past dog sitting gigs and I currently have 2 dogs in the house! I’m very active and get to the gym about 4-6x a week, so I would love to take your pup on walks, play with them, and give them plenty of love! I am a huge dog lover and would love to spoil your pup. (I will also send you pictures of me and your pup and what we are doing) I am at the dental office most of the time Monday - Fridays but am free once I get off at 4. I am very flexible and am willing to work with and around my schedule to help you out :) My clients home will be in the same shape I walked into it or better! Cleaning is my therapy and I can do chores or any other help that you would like.

About: Though I'm new to Rover, I've been pet-sitting for neighbors and friends for 10+ years! I've taken care of dogs, cats, llamas, goats, and more. I've lived my whole life with dogs and cats of all ages, so I'm familiar with puppy/kitten and senior care. I know how to give medications including oral, topical, and injectable. I love animals and I promise to give your pets the same love and compassionate care I give my own! I'm currently working part time, so I have a pretty flexible schedule. About: I’ve grown up with animals my whole life and have taken care of relatives and friends dogs for years. I’ve helped my parents raise their dog from little to her seniorhood. I am home all throughout the day on weekdays and weekends!! I love animals and would be happy to work around someone’s busy schedule. I can travel to meet you at your need! I’ll work with your preferences and special needs. I can come walk your dog and stop by to make sure they are doing okay if need be. About: I've had experience with my own pets since I was 10 years old, and I have walked dogs and house sat occasionally as well. I raised and trained my cat from when he was a kitten and my dog from the moment he was born. I love animals, and I'm excited to work with yours!
