About: I have cared for animals since I was little. We have had all kinds of pets from (hamsters, ferrets, rabbits, guinea pigs, dogs, and cats). My 12 year old daughter loves animals and has worked over the years with dog sitting for hours at their house and walking the dogs in our neighborhood. I am a teacher. I am off during the summer and we are home every day. Even if I am not here for a few hours, I have two responsible tweens that are very capable of loving and caring for your pet. We live in a duplex with a mid size back yard. It is not fenced in, but I can put them on a long leash if needed for running. We also have a mile long road that makes a circle of our neighborhood. Even though our subdivision is under construction, we will have a pond and a play area for our dogs to play. We also are able to crate if needed. We have a small dog of our own that would love company and we have a guinea pig that stays in the living room in a fenced in area (which we can put in a cage in a bedroom if needed). Our dog is not crated and is allowed on the furniture and sleeps in our beds.

About: Just the 2 of us. Our sweet boy crossed over the rainbow bridge, and while we’re not quite ready to get another dog, we love making new paw friends! We both work from home, and have opposite schedules when leaving the house, so one of us is normally home! About: My first dog was with me for 14 years and I now have an 11 year old. Raised like family and to be trail dogs. I walk twice a day and provide plenty of affection. I work from home. There is a morning walk and then an afternoon walk with potty breaks during the day. I can travel within the Massanutten and Elkton areas. I can keep them on the current feeding schedule and provide bathroom breaks as needed. Crates are acceptable and specific instructions followed. I have a friendly Fruggle who gets along with everyone. We do prefer dog friendly dogs.

We own and operate a rabbitry with a focus on Flemish Giant rabbits and have somewhat of a “suburban homestead”, chickens, ducks, rabbits, gardens😌🤫🤭I have worked at multiple dog kennels, including free run facilities, and have worked at the SPCA and the Virginia zoo in Norfolk, Virginia. I have experience with and own German-trained protection dogs (Dobermans/German shepherds etc); we also have King Charles Cavalier spaniels. I am familiar with and have worked with dozens of breeds and each breed has its own characteristics although each pup is also unique of course, it is helpful to be familiar with and recognize breed characteristics. We are able to keep your pet in a completely separate quiet area of our home😴😌or they are welcome to join the pack🥳🤪depending on your (and your pet’s) preference. I am very careful, and responsible, and also very observant and intuitive to know exactly what your pet needs. I have also been a professional photographer for 25 years and love to take photos of pets in our care🙂💖 Let me know what your needs are, and we will see if I can accommodate your needs, as my schedule is very open and flexible. My pet care is very custom tailored to your needs and your pet’s needs, let me know what you need and what your pet prefers. I have 4 dogs that stay exclusively in the back part of the home and have access to the backyard. Doggies I am sitting stay exclusively in the front part of the home and have access to the front yard, so there is no interaction between my dogs. My dogs are friendly with other dogs but this arrangement just makes it easier and more comfortable for yours = )
About: Though I'm new to Rover, I've been pet-sitting for neighbors and friends for 10+ years! I've taken care of dogs, cats, llamas, goats, and more. I've lived my whole life with dogs and cats of all ages, so I'm familiar with puppy/kitten and senior care. I know how to give medications including oral, topical, and injectable. I love animals and I promise to give your pets the same love and compassionate care I give my own! I'm currently working part time, so I have a pretty flexible schedule. I may be able to accommodate some last-minute requests, especially for drop-ins or dog walking. I live in Greene County, but I commute to Harrisonburg when I'm working so I can potentially take bookings around that area as well. About: I have been around dogs my whole life, and I’ve had my own mini poodle for 5 years now. I will love your dog like they are your child!:) I am currently working part time, as well as a full time student. I don’t get to have my dog here, he’s with my family. About: Hi guys! My name is Hailey, a local to the valley, and trying to survive in my 20’s. I took a break from Rover as I was finishing college, started a new dental job, and I’m ready to come back! I have had many dogs since I was 7 years old, ranging from a 7lb dog to 80lbs. I have experience with many dog breeds and ages from owning them or past dog sitting gigs and I currently have 2 dogs in the house! I’m very active and get to the gym about 4-6x a week, so I would love to take your pup on walks, play with them, and give them plenty of love! I am a huge dog lover and would love to spoil your pup. (I will also send you pictures of me and your pup and what we are doing) I am at the dental office most of the time Monday - Fridays but am free once I get off at 4. I am very flexible and am willing to work with and around my schedule to help you out :) My clients home will be in the same shape I walked into it or better! Cleaning is my therapy and I can do chores or any other help that you would like.
