“Patricia took great care of my two cats while I was out of town for the weekend. One of my cats is a challenge and gave Patricia a hard time. She handled it like a pro and kept working with him until she was able to give him his meds. I highly recommend Patricia and will call her again!”

About: I’ve been caring for cats my entire life, and I have great experience with dogs as well! I have been sitting for over 10 households in the Harrisonburg area, and i’ve had nothing but great reviews! My work in a research lab at JMU is flexible, so I can usually stop by wherever you need me! I don’t have a strict schedule! I have 2 amazing cats at home and I make sure to keep them as safe as possible. I do the same when caring for other peoples pets, and treat them as my own!

“Abigail did a fantastic job taking care of our two cats. She followed all our directions and adapted to one of our cats not wanting to come out to eat. She spent time getting to know them and played with Lavender, who doesn’t always want to play. I highly recommend her to care for your animals, she will do a great job!”

About: I’ve been caring for other peoples pets for about 8 years now. I have experience in dog walking, house visits, dog and cat bathing, dog walking, runs, administering medication, and aggressive behavior. I have experience with a wide range of animals. From chihuahuas to pitbulls, bunnies, ferrets, horses, and guinea pigs, no pet is beyond my care! I’m currently a full time student on summer break. This means my schedule is open and available 5 days a week for a range of times. I’m ready to care for your pet however they need while still maintaining a clean and safe environment at all times. I’m no stranger to medication schedules, specific feeding routines, and quirky personalities. I love just sitting and playing with the pets or taking them on long walks.
“Abigail was super great with our two dogs! They are both high energy and can be a lot at times. She was very patient and took excellent care of them, going above and beyond to make sure they had what they needed while we were away.”

About: I’ve taken care of my family dogs as well as my neighbors dogs since I was 11.I have walked large breed dogs that were about 100lbs and have also dealt with reactive dogs. I also have cat experience through my own pet and cat sitting for neighbors. I am a college student with a very flexible schedule and I am free during the afternoon and night. I am available all weekend including Fridays. I understand that pet safety is every owners biggest concern and I can ensure that your pet will be kept safe using my prior knowledge on how to handle cats and dogs.
“Katie is the best! She relieved my stress over finding someone who could administer a daily pill to my cat, and she immediately put me at ease. Katie is very pleasant and professional, and her love of animals is very genuine. Most importantly, my cat bonded with her! I also loved her updates and pictures from every visit and knowing Cubby was in good and caring hands.”

“Ross was reliable, communicative, and clearly cared a lot about my pet’s well-being. I appreciated the regular updates and the attention to detail—everything was handled exactly as requested. I felt completely at ease knowing my pet was in good hands.”

I'm currently an undergraduate student at JMU! I have an extremely flexible schedule and will easily be able to take care of your pets! I am free 7 days a week although there are certain times that I do have class which we can discuss! I have 1 dog and 1 indoor cat at home! About: Hello! My name is Sarah Lynn. I've spent my life with animals, both as pets and pet sitting. I was passionate about animal rescue and fostering in childhood, and am happy to continue caring for cats and dogs of all shapes and sizes now into adulthood! I'm looking forward to hearing from you, and meeting your precious furbaby. I have three cats of my own as well as a border collie that lives with my father that I frequently take care of, I love all animals greatly! I will feed your pets depending on your set schedule, I will walk your pets frequently, and just generally hand out and play with your animals!
About: Neighbors and friends/family have trusted me with their fur-family members and I have cared for a variety of breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I have also aided my own doggo through a seizure and helped transport him to the ER. I am currently a full time college student, however, I have many breaks and a flexible schedule that would be perfectly occupied by caring for your furry friend! I will always follow provided directions carefully and closely in regards to your fur-family member and will contact you beforehand if I have any questions/concerns. All in all, I treat every animal I come across as my very own because I know that’s how I would want my own doggo to be treated <3
“Jenna did a great job with my two cats. They are quite shy and go into hiding when anyone comes to the house. It took some time but by the end Ricky was greeting Jenna and getting some pets. Can't give a better endorsement than that! I had an accident while on vacation and needed help for about 5 weeks longer than planned which Jenna was able to do. That was extremely helpful. I would definitely use Jenna again an highly recommend her.”

About: I am an animal lover for cats, dogs, bunnies and everything else! I care for 2 cats of my own but live with 4. I love cuddling and playing with cats and dogs, and making sure they’re taken care of the way they need to be. I am a student but I am only taking one class. I also work part time, but my schedule is super flexible. I cannot always make it as needed!! I’ll try my best to take day of drop in visits! In addition to feeding animals, I also ensure their engorgement is comfortable. For cats, making sure water is fresh and litter box is clean. For dogs, making sure toys are nearby and, if applicable, their crate is comfortable.
About: I treat every pet as if they are my own, I understand that each animal has a unique personality and needs. I always take the time to provide personalized care and affection to each animal. I am currently working part-time so I have lots of time to care for your animal. I prioritize reliability and communication so you feel confident your pet is being cared for while working part-time. I prioritize safety and trust in every pet sitting experience. I ensure that pets are always supervised and comfortable, following their routines to reduce stress. I am committed to making both pets and owners feel comfortable!
“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The best cat sitter I could have asked for! I’m very particular about my cats’ care, and I left detailed written instructions along with videos. She followed everything exactly, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. She even brushed my long-haired cats, which I really appreciated and wasn’t something I expected. When I got home, they were happy, well cared for, and the whole experience was completely stress-free. It was obvious they had been looked after with genuine care and attention to detail. I would absolutely trust her with my cats again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, thoughtful, and attentive pet sitter!”

“Sarah was great! I have very specific daily care requests for our two cats, Sarah followed my instructions and they were happy kitties when we arrived home from our trip. Thanks Sarah!”

About: I spent a lot of time with pets( mostly dogs) from taking care of close friends pets. With dogs I found better ways to behave them when they were with me, and considering I would take care of them a lot I managed to teach them tricks. I love spending time with animals of any kind. I had a cat when I was 13 and it was tricky because I got Lenny as an adult I would say. I learned how to manage litter boxes and the right food for both cat and dog. I do a lot of research when it comes to food so I know they have the right nutritions and I’m also skeptical when if comes or bagged food, so I do make my Own at times. I own 2 dogs now, one is a puppy and the other about a year and a half old. I’m also trying to save to go into MTC to study as a veterinarian to spend more time with animals. Taking care of pets fits in just perfectly. I currently have a part time job, but doing pet care on the side definitely helps balance my routine out and get some fresh air from working. In both client/my home, since I’m an early bird, I take them on walks to get them moving and give them time to potty, as I do with my dogs as well. I give them water and food, of course this varies on any directions given by the owner. They do get a lot of playtime and treats for good behavior. I make sure to let them potty at least every 2-3 hours out of habit from my pets.

About: I have lived with dogs all of my life and have been taking care of my sweet puppy for 3 years! I am happy to do drop-in visits and walks in your neighborhood. I will be home most of the day this summer and can pop in most weekday and weekend mornings, afternoons, and evenings. I am a music teacher, so my summers have plenty of availability weekdays and weekends. Happy to do repeat check-ins and regular walks in your neighborhood! As someone who has a HARD time leaving my pet when I’m traveling, I understand how much you need to know your pet is safe and happy. I can send photos and updates galore!

Karmy is wonderful! She picked up a last-minute booking for my English Bulldog and took great care of him! She is extremely responsive and was very flexible with drop-in times. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
