About: I've provided care for cats and dogs ranging from kitten and puppy to senior. I've been walking and doing daily in-home visits for several years, as well as taking care of my own animals. I also have experience with lizards and rabbits. I work part-time, so I'm flexible and have more open availability. I'm usually avaliable on short notice and can make earlier morning or later evening visits or extended visits during vacations. I'm happy to follow any care instructions you may have, including crating or other special considerations. I'm fine administering meds and also have some experience with wound care.

About: I have a dog and 6 cats of my own that I have rescued from the RHSPCA. I also have volunteered at our local SPCA, cleaning, and fostering pets for years. I have pet sit many times for friends and family and really enjoy it! I am currently home from college for the summer and my schedule is open anytime during the week. About: I’ve cared for animals most of my life, with decades of hands-on experience, starting with gerbils and my first Siamese cat when I was nine. I’ve also had parakeets for several years. Friends and family have often relied on me for drop-in visits. I’ve always liked the different qualities animals bring, cats with their emotional honesty and dogs with their energy and engagement. I also notice how they relate to the world in their own ways, dogs tend to look for connection and interaction, cats move more on their own terms, and horses are often more tuned in to their surroundings and quick to respond when something feels off. Keeping that in mind helps me adjust my approach so each one feels comfortable and understood. As a young adult, I worked a couple summers in a dog kennel, where my interest in obedience, canine behavior, and training really took off and grew from there. I also spent several summers at horse camp early on, where I gained hands-on experience with horse care, handling, and stable routines. I’ve always enjoyed riding horseback, and still do when I can. Those early experiences shaped how I approach animals today. I’m naturally more at ease with animals, calm, steady, and patient, and I’m attentive to how they communicate and what they need. The first dogs I had of my own were a street-mix, Ringo, then a Giant Schnauzer and later a Husky mix, Harley, and in more recent years, my best buddy, Achy, was a Jack Russell Terrier. Caring for him through different stages of life deepened my understanding of attentive, consistent care. With my Schnauzer, Bella, I trained and competed in obedience, which gave me a strong appreciation for structure, consistency, and clear communication. Some of my animals were adopted, while others I raised from puppyhood, which gave me experience with both early training and supporting animals as they settle into new environments. I appreciate that each animal has its own personality, comfort level, and needs, especially when their routine changes, and I do my best to keep things as familiar and steady as possible. My experience includes: • Daily care, feeding, walks, play, companionship • Supporting anxious, sensitive, or high-energy pets • Keeping routines consistent • Reinforcing basic training and boundaries • Basic first aid for dogs and cats (minor wounds, claw injuries, and general care) • Grooming and brushing, including tick checks and removal (and basic hoof care for horses) • Care for small animals, birds and fish, including cage cleaning and basic aquarium upkeep I take a calm, patient approach and don’t rush interaction. I allow trust to build naturally so pets feel secure and comfortable while you’re away. I’m comfortable caring for dogs, cats, and small animals such as rodents, birds, and ferrets. At this time, I don’t offer care for reptiles or arachnids. I also have experience with horses from years of riding, and while it’s been some time, I’m comfortable assisting with basic care. At home, I currently care for a senior rescue cat, Aggy, which keeps me mindful of the extra patience and attention older animals often need. I’m comfortable with routine care such as eye drops, tablets, and grooming or brushing. For injections, IVs, or more advanced medical care, I recommend working with a veterinary professional. While I’m new to Rover, caring for animals has been a consistent part of my life. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and wellbeing are always my priority. I am self-employed and currently work part-time, which gives me flexibility in my daily and weekly schedule. I’m able to plan pet care around the needs of the pet owner and provide reliable, attentive care. I provide care in the pet owner’s home to keep things familiar and comfortable for the pet. My visits typically include up to four shorter potty breaks throughout the day, along with a longer walk and evening care. Overnight stays follow a consistent routine to support a sense of safety and stability, as both dogs and cats tend to feel more at ease with familiar patterns. During each visit, I make sure pets are fed, have fresh water, get appropriate exercise, and receive calm, attentive companionship. I follow care instructions closely, keep an eye on behavior and overall wellbeing, and provide regular photo and video updates so you can feel at ease while you’re away. About: i’ve taken care of many animals from ferrets and birds to dogs and cats of all sizes with both boarding and in-house care as well as just stopping by to feed and walk my job keeps me on a pretty weird schedule as i travel along with a band as they tour so when the bands not touring i’m free 24/7 to care for pets i have a 9 year old chihuahua that although she’s a loud mouth is very loving towards other dogs and cats as i also have 6 indoor outdoor cats and two ferrets which spend most of their time in there cage

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life. I have been taking care of dogs of my own since I was able to walk and talk. I work hard and play harder with our furry friends! I am a fast learner, and can assist with training pups or taking care of senior dogs. My father is a veterinarian, so I was able to learn from him how to care for your pets. I attend James Madison University, so I will have classes with a varying schedule each weekday. I can stay full time at your home with your pets. I go to the gym, so I may be out for a short time to work out, but once I’m finished I’m right back at home with your pets! I have two dogs of my own. I feed/provide medication to them regularly (might go without saying) and I love to cuddle up with them on the floor and play with their toys with them. I’m very affectionate and will give your pets lots of attention and love.

About: I have lived with dogs all of my life and have been taking care of my sweet puppy for 3 years! I am happy to do drop-in visits and walks in your neighborhood. About: I spent a lot of time with pets( mostly dogs) from taking care of close friends pets. With dogs I found better ways to behave them when they were with me, and considering I would take care of them a lot I managed to teach them tricks. I love spending time with animals of any kind. I had a cat when I was 13 and it was tricky because I got Lenny as an adult I would say. I learned how to manage litter boxes and the right food for both cat and dog. I do a lot of research when it comes to food so I know they have the right nutritions and I’m also skeptical when if comes or bagged food, so I do make my Own at times. I own 2 dogs now, one is a puppy and the other about a year and a half old. I’m also trying to save to go into MTC to study as a veterinarian to spend more time with animals. Taking care of pets fits in just perfectly. I currently have a part time job, but doing pet care on the side definitely helps balance my routine out and get some fresh air from working. In both client/my home, since I’m an early bird, I take them on walks to get them moving and give them time to potty, as I do with my dogs as well. I give them water and food, of course this varies on any directions given by the owner. They do get a lot of playtime and treats for good behavior. I make sure to let them potty at least every 2-3 hours out of habit from my pets.

About: I have been a dog parent for my whole life in which I have administered medication, walked, fed, played with, and of course cuddled, them I have also grown up around cats as well given that most of my girlfriend and friends are cat parents. I can clean litter boxes, food bowls, vomit, etc. I currently am a student at James Madison University, so message me for specific availability during the week. Additionally, I do not have class on Friday, and am mostly available during the morning and mid afternoon. I am willing to come multiple times a day and multiple days a week unless I have a prior engagement. I have a dog of my own, and I care for him the same as I do for other dogs as well. I play fetch, take him on walks, feed him, and of course cuddle. I also, respect his boundaries as I would my client’s pet by giving him space or avoid petting him when he does not want to be bothered!

About: I've had cats and dogs growing up, and have loved taking care of them. I've pet sitted for neighbors the past couple of years, and have recently widened my customer range. I have cared for dogs of all ages, cats, and birds! I will have a part time job so there are days when I’m out of the house for 8 hours, but not super often. My weekends are pretty free typically! I head to college in late August, so I just have a few months to take care of animals. I try to care for pets as closely to how their owners do so they feel comfortable! About: I have sat for pets since I was in high school. This was for cats and dogs and included both overnight house sits and dog walks. I’m working partially as a freelance journalist, but that’s a very loose schedule so I should have a lot of time for pet sitting and care. My work in a research lab at JMU is flexible, so I can usually stop by wherever you need me! I don’t have a strict schedule!
