About: 2 years of experience at Hayfield Animal Hospital working in the kennel. Caring for up to around 50 dogs at a time. Giving them food, water, walks, playtime, pets, and sometimes medication. I would also give baths if requested. I really enjoyed working there and getting to know all types of animals. I’m used to working with a broad range of personalities, sizes, and stages of life for both dogs and cats. I also have two rescue dogs of my own and four cockatiels. I am a college student with a good amount of free time. I have some days with and without classes. I would love to spend more of my free time hanging out with some wonderful animals! I can spend time with the animal and give them any care they need. I can feed, walk, and administer some medication. I know how to read body language and present as a very friendly person for animals.

About: I have been pet sitting since I was 16 years old. I started with family and progressed to a range of clientele that I passed down to my little brother when I moved away to college. I have taken care of pets as young as 10 weeks to as old as 15 years old. I have taken care of animals with bowel issues as well as specific dietary guidelines. I understand pets as family members with unique needs and I take pride in meeting those needs to make pets feel as comfortable as possible when their family is away I am currently a college student at James Madison University. I have classes Tuesdays and Thursdays leaving Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays free for pet sitting/walking. I take pride of treating pets as my own in the fact of following all regulations left by the owner and comforting the animal when meeting them as I understand boundaries with animals is important to earn trust.
About: Besides training both of my dogs, starting at a young age, I also helped them through their senior years as well, with frequent walks, medicine, and extra care. I have maintained and fostered my love for animals since I was a child. I have an internship on Wednesdays and Fridays with Habitat 4 Humanity, but otherwise, am able to work my schedule around depending on your pet care needs. I provide calm, attentive care in your home: feeding, fresh water, litter or potty breaks, walks, playtime, and lots of affection. I follow your pet’s routine closely, keep things clean, give updates and photos, and make sure your pet feels safe and comfortable.

About: I have always had a love and passion for animals since I was a little girl. Over the years, I have gained even more love and experience in properly caring for all animals as if they were my own. I am a student at JMU who is looking for something part time. I have a lot of free time in the afternoon and most weekends which I would love to spend my time with your wonderful animals! “Lola is great! She is very trustworthy & reliable, and took great care of my best buddy while I was going into the office for work! We greatly appreciated the help and will certainly reach back out in the future.”

About: I have taken care of many pets before, and absolutely love spending time with animals! I have a dog of my own and trained him from 3 months. I am available to watch and walk your pets! I will be available this winter until I head back to school in the middle of January. I have cared for dogs ranging from 3 week old puppies, to an 18 year old dog and connect well with pets. “Katie was phenomenal and so easy to work with. She was extremely caring and loving to our golden retriever Rocky. She communicated and took pictures of our pup and sent to us to keep us informed and up to date. I will definitely use Katie again and recommend to anyone looking for a loving and caring pet walker.”

About: I grew up surrounded by cats and dogs and have a lot of experience loving on both. I am experienced with many breeds, sizes, ages, temperament levels, etc of both cats and dogs. Willing to watch other pets as well!! Not limited to dogs & cats :) My boyfriend and I work in restaurants and our shifts are usually no longer than 5-6 hours and between the two of us, someone is usually home. Our dog, Stanley, needs to be let out every 4-5 hours, so between the two of us, we make sure that happens. We also take a trip to an on-site dog park every morning and night! I only go when there are no other dogs for safety purposes. I’d love to host your dog if he/she gets along with other dogs- I have a 9 lb chihuahua/yorkie mix who has got some quirks. He is very intimidated by bigger dogs and uses his voice to make up for his size, which usually provokes dogs (even the un-provokable), so I can only accept smaller dogs and in order to keep everyone safe, I like to do meet and greets prior to booking. If your dog is not great with other dogs and/or is larger than 30 lbs, I’d be happy to do frequent drop in visits throughout the day.
“Connor helped us out when we needed our pups walked on short notice. He was able to handle all three dogs with ease, and kept in touch throughout. We definitely recommend Connor!”

Collegiate soccer player with plenty of energy to play with our active friends and love cuddling with the more mellow ones. I’m currently on summer break from college at EMU. Looking to volunteer here and there for med school with plenty of time to take care of lovely pets. I will be very respectful of the pets and their space with a good understanding of dog behavior. Making sure the comfort and happiness of our pets are the top priority.

About: I grew up with a poodle named Bridget and have been the owner of two Corgis and a black lab. I also spent years caring for my sister’s dogs in her home and mine. My schedule is flexible for in-home visits and walking your animals on a weekly basis. I enjoy being active and pups bring opportunities for socialization and exercise. I’d like to help keep yours healthy and happy! My practice is to follow your lead as the expert on your dog’s demeanor, care, and needs. Whether walking or providing in-home visits, i stick to routines and care preferences so your pet stays comfortable and healthy while you’re away!
About: I’ve volunteered at vets, as well as spay and neuter clinics for 7 years now. I’ve been house sitting and pet sitting both dogs and cats since I was 15. I’ve owned both cats and dogs ever since I was a little kid. I’m experienced in administering medication and handling kittens! Right now I’m an online college student, so I have full availability both day and night to check in on your furry friend! I look forward to playing with a cat of my own, and going on dog walks with friends who are pet owners. I am more than willing to stay overnight in any client’s home to care for their pets or plants. I’m used to taking care of my own pets, so sticking to a routine comes very natural to me. I also love getting out for some exercise, so walks of any length for any dog are something I look forward to!
