“Chris has been a tremendous blessing for us since our last pet sitter retired. She loves our girls; we receive pictures and regular updates. If there are any changes, she is quick to check in and ask questions. Chris communicates promptly, professionally, and even checks in on our arrival at home. On animals that require medications: One cat takes a morning med and both get evening medicine with food. She even managed to get meds in our other girl who (I forgot) hates taking pills. Chris has also taken care of our large dog when she needed walks / outdoor & play time, and meals. In a time when many expect more and offer less, Chris is a rose among thorns.”

About: I've provided care for cats and dogs ranging from kitten and puppy to senior. I've been walking and doing daily in-home visits for several years, as well as taking care of my own animals. I also have experience with lizards and rabbits. I work part-time, so I'm flexible and have more open availability. I'm usually avaliable on short notice and can make earlier morning or later evening visits or extended visits during vacations. I'm happy to follow any care instructions you may have, including crating or other special considerations. I'm fine administering meds and also have some experience with wound care.

About: I have taken care of dogs ever since I was nine years old. I had two dogs and now we have a third because the first one passed away. I have also experienced being a dog daycare attendant for six months back in 2022. I know a variety of dog’s behavior and their need of love and affectionate when their owners are busy. I’m currently in graduate student at James Madison University and I would like to fit some pet care time after my classes in the mid afternoon to evening. For your pets, I can provide them with their daily food, routines, and pets and loving when they are needed. As well as giving them time to play with their toys.

About: I am a social worker by trade, and currently I am professor at two local colleges. I also write books and and do photography. I specialize in social psychology and I am intuitive to human and animal needs. As mentioned, I am an adjunct professor, write, and do photography. As such I have free time to care for your pet daily and at various times. I have always cared for my pets like family (and some may argue a little better, lol). I have a SUV and know different locations to walk your pet, or I can walk them locally. I also love cats and can spend time in your home playing with with them and the infamous red dot or other toys. I am also familiar with all types of animals and can care for your farm animals and other in door animals.
