About: I've provided care for cats and dogs ranging from kitten and puppy to senior. I've been walking and doing daily in-home visits for several years, as well as taking care of my own animals. I also have experience with lizards and rabbits. I work part-time, so I'm flexible and have more open availability. I'm usually avaliable on short notice and can make earlier morning or later evening visits or extended visits during vacations. I'm happy to follow any care instructions you may have, including crating or other special considerations. I'm fine administering meds and also have some experience with wound care.

About: I spent a lot of time with pets( mostly dogs) from taking care of close friends pets. With dogs I found better ways to behave them when they were with me, and considering I would take care of them a lot I managed to teach them tricks. I love spending time with animals of any kind. I had a cat when I was 13 and it was tricky because I got Lenny as an adult I would say. I learned how to manage litter boxes and the right food for both cat and dog. I do a lot of research when it comes to food so I know they have the right nutritions and I’m also skeptical when if comes or bagged food, so I do make my Own at times. I own 2 dogs now, one is a puppy and the other about a year and a half old. I’m also trying to save to go into MTC to study as a veterinarian to spend more time with animals. Taking care of pets fits in just perfectly. I currently have a part time job, but doing pet care on the side definitely helps balance my routine out and get some fresh air from working. In both client/my home, since I’m an early bird, I take them on walks to get them moving and give them time to potty, as I do with my dogs as well. I give them water and food, of course this varies on any directions given by the owner. They do get a lot of playtime and treats for good behavior. I make sure to let them potty at least every 2-3 hours out of habit from my pets.

About: I have taken care of and been around animals since I was a child. I had worked in Dog Daycares, walking dogs, and being a sitter for all kinds of animals. I can be gentle or authoritative with your pet while giving them love and kindness. My life is taking care of animals and loving them. I have plenty of free time to spend with your pets for walks, playtime, and so much more! I am quite strong to be able to hold tightly onto a leash if your animal is leash reactive. I am well versed in dog body language and can handle a hyperactive animal or a calm and cuddly baby.

About: I grew up with dogs and have experience caring for small and medium-sized dogs for family and friends. I love going on walks, playing fetch, and keeping pups happy and active, but I’m also happy to relax at home with lower-energy pets who prefer a quieter day. I have experience giving both cats and dogs oral medication and am comfortable following individual care instructions. Most importantly, I treat every pet with patience, care, and attention as if they were my own. Starting September 13, I’ll be working full-time Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 6 PM, so I’ll mainly be available for pet care in the evenings and on weekends. (Until then my schedule is completely open!) My weekends are completely open and flexible! I’m happy to work around your pet’s usual routine and make sure they get plenty of attention, playtime, walks, and cuddles. I’ll always do my best to make sure your pets feel comfortable, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. When caring for pets in their home, I’ll focus on making sure they feel comfortable, happy, and cared for in their familiar surroundings. I’m happy to take dogs on walks, play fetch, spend time keeping them company, or simply relax with them if they prefer a quieter visit. I’ll follow your pet’s usual routine and any specific instructions you provide, while giving them plenty of attention and affection along the way. My goal is for your pet to feel safe and cared for while you’re away.

I’m currently a college student and I am on my summer break, but I have a flexible schedule and make time every day for pet care. About: I have loved animals since I was young. I’ve been taking care of my 12 year old dog since he was a puppy and needed to be bottle-fed. He’s now a senior dog and I still take great care of him. I trained him to do tricks as a puppy and my family has heavily relied on me to solely take care of my dog, especially when they leave me to take care of our dog when they travel for vacations. I am also a pre-vet student at James Madison University, pursuing a career involving animal care! I am working part time and getting scheduled minimum hours right now. I’m going away to college soon but before then I’d have plenty of free time to come take care of your fur-babies! I don’t board dogs at my home but I show respect to every home I enter and treat the home the way I would treat my own.

I have decades of animal care experience, working with cats, dogs, horses, and even giraffes, elephants, and antelopes! We own and operate a rabbitry with a focus on Flemish Giant rabbits and have somewhat of a “suburban homestead”, chickens, ducks, rabbits, gardens😌🤫🤭I have worked at multiple dog kennels, including free run facilities, and have worked at the SPCA and the Virginia zoo in Norfolk, Virginia. I have experience with and own German-trained protection dogs (Dobermans/German shepherds etc); we also have King Charles Cavalier spaniels. I am familiar with and have worked with dozens of breeds and each breed has its own characteristics although each pup is also unique of course, it is helpful to be familiar with and recognize breed characteristics. We are able to keep your pet in a completely separate quiet area of our home😴😌or they are welcome to join the pack🥳🤪depending on your (and your pet’s) preference. I am very careful, and responsible, and also very observant and intuitive to know exactly what your pet needs. I have 4 dogs that stay exclusively in the back part of the home and have access to the backyard. Doggies I am sitting stay exclusively in the front part of the home and have access to the front yard, so there is no interaction between my dogs. My dogs are friendly with other dogs but this arrangement just makes it easier and more comfortable for yours = )

About: Every summer I have helped my mom out- who is a nanny- by taking care of pets of her clients while she takes care of the kids. And I enjoyed playing with them and keeping the pets company, for they also keep me company throughout the day. I am currently not working at any outside jobs. I have plenty of time during the week to watch any pet at any time of day I will pay very close attention to the dogs. I know that pets needs love and care, and I will be more than happy to give them such. And treat them as if they are my own. And will cater to their needs, and as instructed by their owner as well.

About: First of all, my name is Toni. Rover will only accept legally changed names, and I haven’t gotten there yet. But I’m Toni M. and I started getting involved with pet care because of my mental illness and autism. The stress of life was lowering my ability to function and every job I tried seemed to make it all worse. Enter: Dogs. I decided if I was going to make it I needed to be doing something that gave instead of took from me. Animals have helped bring me back to life in the dark. I’ve worked with puppies and older dogs. I’ve spent significant time with dogs with anxiety issues as well. I tend to connect with dogs who need a little extra love the most anyway. If at all possible I prefer boarding as transitions can be a challenge but I’m usually up for anything the pet needs to feel safe and secure and do a lot of house sitting, too and am more than willing too. I try to keep all homes clean and tidy for the owner’s return. My own home is small, only two usable rooms, but has a large wooded yard and perfect spots for beautiful walks, or throwing a ball and playing fetch in our secluded field if the dog is not an eloper. My dog loved living in this home before he passed as it is quiet and peaceful, and playing ball was his favorite thing in the world. Hit me up if you need some help, as I’m quite passionate about this work and want to be of service. :) ✨ When a pet stays with me we have a routine. Coffee (for me), breakfast, walk. And in the evenings we eat, play, have downtime. I guarantee an hour of exercise a day for your pet as well. I always appreciate a crate just in case but that doesn’t mean I’ll use it. My home is small so if your dog is a big chewer it might not be the perfect fit for boarding unless a crate is available. I’m home almost all day and can monitor animals closely and give plenty of love. I like to play outside with the animals twice a day. Water bowel is always filled and animals are always welcome on my furniture. They’re free to make themselves at home.
