With dogs I found better ways to behave them when they were with me, and considering I would take care of them a lot I managed to teach them tricks. I love spending time with animals of any kind. I had a cat when I was 13 and it was tricky because I got Lenny as an adult I would say. I learned how to manage litter boxes and the right food for both cat and dog. I do a lot of research when it comes to food so I know they have the right nutritions and I’m also skeptical when if comes or bagged food, so I do make my Own at times. I own 2 dogs now, one is a puppy and the other about a year and a half old. I’m also trying to save to go into MTC to study as a veterinarian to spend more time with animals. Taking care of pets fits in just perfectly. I currently have a part time job, but doing pet care on the side definitely helps balance my routine out and get some fresh air from working. In both client/my home, since I’m an early bird, I take them on walks to get them moving and give them time to potty, as I do with my dogs as well. I give them water and food, of course this varies on any directions given by the owner. They do get a lot of playtime and treats for good behavior. About: I have sat for pets since I was in high school. This was for cats and dogs and included both overnight house sits and dog walks. I’m working partially as a freelance journalist, but that’s a very loose schedule so I should have a lot of time for pet sitting and care. No preference on dogs or cats, I can catch on quick to whatever they task may be for the need of your pet. I’m currently working part time, so my schedule is pretty open at your disposal. About: I have loved animals since I was young. I’ve been taking care of my 12 year old dog since he was a puppy and needed to be bottle-fed. He’s now a senior dog and I still take great care of him. I trained him to do tricks as a puppy and my family has heavily relied on me to solely take care of my dog, especially when they leave me to take care of our dog when they travel for vacations. I am also a pre-vet student at James Madison University, pursuing a career involving animal care! I am working part time and getting scheduled minimum hours right now. I’m going away to college soon but before then I’d have plenty of free time to come take care of your fur-babies! About: I have owned animals my whole life and absolutely love working with them. I used to work at a boarding kennel/ training place and even a veterinary hospital so I learned a lot. And know how to handle all kinds of different breeds. I have two dogs of my own, so they are set on a schedule. Just as your pet would be too. About: I have cared for many pets of friends and family members over the years. Sadly, I had to put my own dog down this fall (13yo Boxer named Neeco) and am looking to get my pup fix through volunteering at the SPCA and pet-sitting/walking, as I am not quite ready to take on another dog just yet. I am comfortable with dogs of all sizes and ages, but I especially love senior doggos. I currently work part-time as an RN and make my own schedule, so am very flexible in that regard. Available for boarding most weekends Friday-Monday. My yard is unfenced but on a very private road with low traffic. Lots of trails and streams to explore if that is something your fur baby would enjoy! If not, we have a large deck and screened in porch for outdoor lounging, and big comfy couch by the fireplace for them to relax.
