“Krista was great. Zoe immediately loved her and Coby didn’t mind the wake up call from the couch to meet his new friend. Dogs were walked, fed, and given treats as requested. Proper leash, walking perimeter followed, house locked, and key promptly returned. We even received a picture of the walk. Neither dog expressed any separation anxiety while their humans were on a day trip. I was super happy and will call on Krista in the future. Dogs give her 5 woofs!”

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life. I have been taking care of dogs of my own since I was able to walk and talk. I work hard and play harder with our furry friends! I am a fast learner, and can assist with training pups or taking care of senior dogs. My father is a veterinarian, so I was able to learn from him how to care for your pets. I attend James Madison University, so I will have classes with a varying schedule each weekday. I can stay full time at your home with your pets. I go to the gym, so I may be out for a short time to work out, but once I’m finished I’m right back at home with your pets! I have two dogs of my own. I feed/provide medication to them regularly (might go without saying) and I love to cuddle up with them on the floor and play with their toys with them. I’m very affectionate and will give your pets lots of attention and love.

About: I have always had a love and passion for animals since I was a little girl. I started in elementary school by offering to walk my neighbors' dogs just so I could have the opportunity to play with them. Over the years, I have gained even more love and experience in properly caring for all animals as if they were my own. I am a student at JMU who is looking for something part time. I have a lot of free time in the afternoon and most weekends which I would love to spend my time with your wonderful animals! I currently live in an apartment building but is willing to take them in, take them to dog parks, and go on long walks. About: Its incredibly easy for me to pick up on a pet's personality. Whether they're out and about, or too lazy to go out, I champion myself for being able to understand a pet's emotions. About: I have had many pets, having taken care of dogs, rabbits, turtles, and fish. Detail oriented and attentive to understand how our pets are feeling. Collegiate soccer player with plenty of energy to play with our active friends and love cuddling with the more mellow ones. I’m currently on summer break from college at EMU. About: Hi! Honestly, just here to fill a void for safe, affordable, reliable care in the community. I have a golden doodle that we're obsessed with and found that there's not a ton of options in the immediate area for reliable, safe care. Fenced in back yard! Currently a part time nurse that works 2-3 days a week. Availability will be made around my work schedule. Daily walks around the neighborhood to explore. I have a fenced in back yard with a friendly golden doodle. He's not crated but can offer crating animals visiting if a crate is provided!

About: I have taken care of and been around animals since I was a child. I had worked in Dog Daycares, walking dogs, and being a sitter for all kinds of animals. I can be gentle or authoritative with your pet while giving them love and kindness. My life is taking care of animals and loving them. I have plenty of free time to spend with your pets for walks, playtime, and so much more! I am quite strong to be able to hold tightly onto a leash if your animal is leash reactive. I am well versed in dog body language and can handle a hyperactive animal or a calm and cuddly baby.

About: I have been a dog parent for my whole life in which I have administered medication, walked, fed, played with, and of course cuddled, them I have also grown up around cats as well given that most of my girlfriend and friends are cat parents. I can clean litter boxes, food bowls, vomit, etc. I currently am a student at James Madison University, so message me for specific availability during the week. Additionally, I do not have class on Friday, and am mostly available during the morning and mid afternoon. I am willing to come multiple times a day and multiple days a week unless I have a prior engagement. I have a dog of my own, and I care for him the same as I do for other dogs as well. I play fetch, take him on walks, feed him, and of course cuddle. I also, respect his boundaries as I would my client’s pet by giving him space or avoid petting him when he does not want to be bothered!

While I may be new to Rover professionally, I bring years of hands-on experience with dogs of different ages, personalities, and energy levels. As a college volleyball coach, I’m dependable, active, organized, and used to maintaining routines and building trust — qualities that carry over naturally into pet care. I’m very patient and attentive, whether that means keeping up with an energetic puppy, making sure a dog gets plenty of exercise and playtime, or giving extra attention and gentle care to older pets. I know how important it is to feel confident leaving your pet with someone else, so I prioritize communication, consistency, and treating every dog like they’re my own. Pet care fits very naturally into my routine because I’m already used to being active, structured, and consistent in my day-to-day life. As a college volleyball coach, especially during the summer, I have a very flexible schedule and spend a lot of time working from home, which allows me to give pets plenty of attention, supervision, and time throughout the day. I enjoy staying active, so walks, playtime, and outdoor time with dogs are something I genuinely enjoy incorporating into my routine. I’m also used to balancing responsibilities and maintaining schedules, which helps me stay dependable with feeding times, potty breaks, exercise, and overall care. Since I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life, caring for animals has always been a natural part of my daily life Whether caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, I focus on creating a safe, comfortable, and stress-free environment while keeping pets on the routine they’re used to. I make sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, bathroom breaks, fresh water, meals on schedule, and of course lots of affection and care. I also understand how important trust is when someone is leaving their pet — and potentially their home — in someone else’s care. I take cleanliness, organization, and respecting other people’s homes very seriously. I always make sure spaces are kept clean and tidy, follow any instructions closely, and treat both pets and homes with the same care and respect I would expect for my own. Communication is also very important to me, so I like to keep owners updated with messages and photos so they can feel comfortable and connected while they’re away

About: I raised two Boston Terrier sisters from pups to senior dogs. I'm familiar, comfortable, and prefer the sheduele that a pet dog(s) requires. As well, I've rescued several stray dogs that were later adopted into loving families or relocated to their home. I am passionate about the safety, care, and basic needs of each pet with intentions to exceed expectations above and beyond. I only work part time, majorly during the morning hours; therefore, I'll have plenty of time in the afternoon and evening to care for your pet! Also, I have complete open availability during the weekends. I would love to spend my free time getting to know and love your pet! I have a massive yard for pet play with plenty of grass, trees, and free range to roam. Although I have three cats, they are all indoor and outdoor which works perfectly depending on your pet's own personal needs regarding other animals too. Most importantly, your pet would be in a quiet and loving environment surrounded by nature.

About: I grew up surrounded by cats and dogs and have a lot of experience loving on both. I am experienced with many breeds, sizes, ages, temperament levels, etc of both cats and dogs. Willing to watch other pets as well!! Not limited to dogs & cats :) My boyfriend and I work in restaurants and our shifts are usually no longer than 5-6 hours and between the two of us, someone is usually home. Our dog, Stanley, needs to be let out every 4-5 hours, so between the two of us, we make sure that happens. We also take a trip to an on-site dog park every morning and night! I only go when there are no other dogs for safety purposes. I’d love to host your dog if he/she gets along with other dogs- I have a 9 lb chihuahua/yorkie mix who has got some quirks. He is very intimidated by bigger dogs and uses his voice to make up for his size, which usually provokes dogs (even the un-provokable), so I can only accept smaller dogs and in order to keep everyone safe, I like to do meet and greets prior to booking. If your dog is not great with other dogs and/or is larger than 30 lbs, I’d be happy to do frequent drop in visits throughout the day.
