About: I love animals and always had a dog or cat or both. They were healthy, well cared for, got lots of attention and were considered part of the family. Fast forward, I got certified as a foster for the SPCA, volunteer at the local shelter, am a contact for the DFW wildlife hotline, and certified in two other wildlife areas. I have fostered, helped re-home, and cared for a few handicapped and senior dogs that are blind, deaf, need medication, can barely walk or need to be taken out every hour. Whether long brisk walks, playing outside or simply being cared for at home due to health issues, your pet will get lots of attention, cuddles, exercise, and play according to their health and energy levels. I'm a retired professional that loves animals. I will NOT be working remotely on a computer or phone for hours while ignoring your pet. Your pet IS my job. I will physically be where your pet is whether inside my house or playing outside. Although experienced, I'm new on Rover. I volunteer many hours so please notify me 1-2 weeks in advance so I can adjust my volunteer schedule. Otherwise, first come first serve. Your pet's safety is paramount. Inside my home: I ensure there are no exposed electrical wires, poisonous plants, no accessible chemicals, or toys that may be swallowed. I have a very large, fenced yard. I keep your phone and vet's phone numbers readily accessible. After greeting your pet, I observe their behavior to ensure they look physically well and respond and move healthily.

About: I’ve had my dog for 10yrs and his brother (a rescue) for 4! I foster a home full of love where they are showered with toys, the best beds, clothes (haha), and treats! I cook for them (vet approved) and my boys are happy and healthy. I have a Schnauzer and a Schnoodle (Scottie & Moe). We live in a nice 1.5 story house with a fenced backyard (and a really cool pooper scooper). I wipe them after breaks and they roam all over and hang out on all of the furniture their hearts desire! Your baby will be my baby for however long you need. I LOVE animals and will treat them like my own. I will cook for your baby too (if you’d like), and I’d give you a menu ahead of time OR you can give me one and I’ll just go off of that! I am available 5/7 days a week (I can potentially make exceptions if needed). I’m almost done with my final masters and do pet care in my spare time, and I have a lot of it (time)! I cook healthy (vet approved) meals and give (NEVER RAWHIDE) awesome treats! I also provide ONLY cool filtered water (from my fridge). I have a big fenced-in back yard and wipe off the furry angels after potty time. I keep the yard clean (I have an awesome pooper scooper) so that they can play all over. I also have a doggie door so they can go potty on their own (most breaks will be supervised). Your baby is mine! Meaning he/she has open access to the entire house (yes, including furniture)! If I am at your house, I will ONLY go to approved areas and will follow whatever routine and rules you set!

About: I have been a Dog parent for the last 20+ years. I know leaving your pet can be stressful and I would love to provide a safe place for your pet so you can have piece of mind when you need to leave town. I am at home during the day and live close to dog parks. Our dogs love the park and your dog can join us! We love taking our dogs out for walks and have a back yard for them to run around play! There are lots of neighborhood dogs to bark at! I can offer sitting services in our home or yours. I know pet parents often want to have their pets stay in their home for familiarity. I can be available for either service to ensure your pet is safe and well cared for.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs(my own pets) since high school. Friends and family have relied on me to care for their pets when they’re out of town. I also graduated from the vet tech institute in 2014. Then I went on to work as a radiology and ophthalmology veterinary technician in a busy emergency hospital for 5 years. I only quit once I became a mom but have wanted to make my way back to caring for animals in some way! I’m currently a SAHM and both my kids will be in school full time. About: I've had dogs and cats my entire life including a ton of fosters and I regularly pet sit for my sisters 3 dogs. Currently I have 2 cats that get along well with other animals. I also have 2 children aged 9 and 11 to give plenty of extra love to your fur babies. I work from home and spend most of my free time at home as well so my routine is very flexible to fit any schedule. I have a large house with large backyard so there's plenty of room to explore and burn off some energy. I love animals and can customize visits and boarding to ensure your fur babies are taken care of and loved.

About: I grew up with dogs since I was seven years old. I’ve never not had a dog in my house. My first dog was when my grandmother surprised me on Valentine’s Day a little black poodle and I called her Sissy. I had her since I graduated in high school and she passed away. I was devastated because she was my childhood dog. I will never forget her. Now, I have a spunky blue heeler mix named Zendaya who is one years old. I like playing, walking, petting and being next to my dog. Plus, my two sons adore her. I have a hybrid schedule. M, W, F, I work from home. I take a 30 minute to an hour lunch break. I can make sure your pet has enough food and water. On Tues & Thurs, I’m in the office. After work, M-F, I have more time to walk the dog, make sure their water and food bowls are filled. I can play with your dog if he or she needs attention. On the weekends, my schedule varies. My kids have a soccer or football game. My husband and I play ultimate frisbee, go to church, spend time with our family or friends. I always take my dog out in the morning before work. I feed her twice a day. When I work from home, on my lunch breaks, I like to go on walks with my dog. When she needs something, she’ll come to me and give me a look or bark at me and I let her outside in my back yard. When I’m in the office twice a week, I let my dog out and keep her in her crate until my husband gets home from work. If he’s gone all day and not back earlier in the day, my mother-in-law will stop by to let her out. We don’t have a dog door, but I keep the back door open if the weather is nice. My family and I like to go to the dog park and let our dog play with other dogs or we take her on hikes.

In addition to dogs and cats, I have experience caring for birds, fish, rodents (have personally owned guinea pigs, hamsters, and rats), and any type of farm animal --I am an equestrian. I'm also available for farm sitting. I'm currently in school so I have a pretty flexible schedule. For house sitting, I would need to leave your home during the day to go to class and to check on things at my place, however, I take care not to stay gone more than a two hours at a time. About: I have owned animals of all shapes, sizes and species throughout my entire life. Everything from reptiles to farm animals to dogs and cats. At 17 I started working at a pet boarding facility where I was able to learn some basic pet grooming and training skills. I stayed at the boarding facility for several years and still have a passion for pets! I currently have two chickens who stay outside in an enclosed run in my yard. I have a three bedroom home with an extra room that we don’t use so there’s plenty of space for everyone. If there’s a need I can also care for some exotic animals as well! I have experience with small mammals, bird and some reptiles and amphibians.

About: I have been the go-to cat sitter/dog walker since I was a kid. I am a cat mom and enjoy getting to love on fur babies. I have worked with both old and young dogs and cats. I am not afraid of a challenge! I work part time on my own schedule and am flexible with days and/or times that are needed. I am open to any arrangements needed! I am have a dog park easily assessable to me and have the space to board small fur babies at this time due to living in an apartment. I am not opposed to driving where I am needed!
