About: Animals have been central to my life from an early age, and few things bring me more peace and joy than caring for the beloved pets of others—domestic and exotic alike. For over a decade I’ve provided quality care for cats and dogs of all sizes and ages in both my home and those of my clients’. Ten years ago, I helped launch the STAY WILD Rehabilitation Center in Trumansburg, NY, where I gained extensive hands-on experience rescuing and rehabilitating sick or injured domestic and farm animals—including dogs, cats, horses, and sheep—as well as local wildlife. Through this work, I developed advanced skills in administering medications of all kinds, wound care and maintenance, and specialized feeding procedures for high-needs animals. I’m confident in situations that require extra patience and care at any stage of your pet’s life — from potty training and housebreaking, to teething and the “terrible twos,” all the way through the gentle, attentive support senior pets deserve. ❤️ I am currently finishing the final credits of my college degree, which gives me a flexible and dependable daytime schedule. Because my coursework is remote, I’m able to prioritize consistent, timely drop-ins and structure my days around my Rover clients. I’m available Monday–Wednesday from 9am–6pm, and Thursday-Sunday from 2pm–6pm. I strive to maintain consistent visit windows for every household. I specialize in dependable drop-in visits and attentive walks in your pet’s familiar environments. My car is set up with a dog hammock and pet safety seatbelt to transport your pupper to a nearby park or trail if desired! I prioritize safe and secure leash handling, stay aware of surroundings by avoiding headphone use, and tailor the pace and distance to your dog’s comfort level and energy. I understand how important consistency and routine are, and I carefully follow all feeding, medication, exercise, and care instructions exactly as provided. With a background in banking and childcare, I bring responsibility, discretion, and respect into every home I enter. About: I’ve had dogs my entire life, and dogsitted for family and friends as well. I am an easy going, attentive and caring person, who will never leave the dogs side! They are in good company with me I’m home the entire day, and wherever I go, the dog goes with me! To the park, walk to the supermarket, to the beach, coffee dates, or simply just relaxing at home. They will always be in good company and constantly attended to! I have a big house very suitable for any size dog, including German Shepards! (I used to have one) I also have a large beautiful garden/ courtyard in which they can safely play with no traffic or problems, and a park right next door! I go running daily so if they’re active dogs they can join me with great pleasure! Or just a long leisurely walk, I’m quite an active person and anywhere I go the dog comes with me!

About: I've taken care of pets since I was a child-- growing up with a large breed and small dog and two cats-- I've always loved animals. I have a large breed dog named Chewbacca and an adult indoor cat named Chase. Both are friendly with other animals, easy going, and playful. I work from home most days so I'm very available! I'm here in my house and I'm happy to offer lots of love, comfort, cuddles, and address any special dietary or medical needs when your pet stays with me! My older large dog is very sweet and sleeps most of the day, but he enjoys playing with other dogs and otherwise is great with cats and any other animals he encounters! I have a large fenced yard on just over an acre outside of Ithaca. Dogs can run and are very happy here when visiting! I am happy to supervise any bathroom breaks or keep your pet on a leash if you prefer them not running the large yard-- whatever feels most comfortable! I will follow your care instructions precisely to ensure your pet gets the love and attention needed.

I have many years of experience working with animals, from pet-sitting in my home, neighborhood, and campus to volunteering in animal shelters. I am a third-year environmental science student at Cornell University. I have experience administering oral and topical medication to pets, have cared for senior pets, and know how to safely remove ticks. About: I'm a Cornell Animal Science graduate. I've grown up with dogs and cats my whole life, and trained 2 of those dogs by myself. I interned at a rescue horse ranch between high school and college, where I helped care for 7 horses and 9 dogs. My academic experience includes canine and feline behavioral and health courses, and research experience caring for and socializing dogs in research studies. Specific services: Housesitting: I have my own car, and can provide morning/evening care, as well as a 1-2hr lunch visit, depending on pet's routine and needs. I have no weekend commitments. Dog-walking: I am available for walks before 10a, between 12 and 2p, and after 6p. I have a flexible work schedule, so exact timing of visits can be adjusted (ie. midday walk at 11a or 3p, instead of 12-2 window). Drop-in visits: I am available for either once or twice daily feeding/walking visits, depending on distance from Ithaca, and pet's routine and needs. Timing same as dog-walking.
About: I grew up in a household full of animals and have been pet sitting for neighbors for as long as I have been old enough. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
