“This was our first time booking with Brenda, and she did an excellent job of making my pup feel at home and putting my mind at ease. She really treated Gracie as if she was her own, with lots of affection, play, and exercise. She did a great job of communicating with me also, sending updates, pictures, and videos. I would definitely book with Brenda again.”

“Kierra went above and beyond to make us feel safe leaving a hope alone with a Rover for the first time. She communicated effectively during every visit, took excellent photos, and took time to really provide Hope with the care and love we wanted. She played and sang to Hope, as well as kept her food and water clean and full. We told her she didn’t need to do the litter every day, but she did anyway. Kierra was respectful of the apartment complex and timely with returning our key. Heart of gold and a friend of animals indeed. She even helped us with extending booking (when we messed up 5 times), We couldn’t have had a better experience or human to take care of Hope (who is a rescue cat but had no issues warming up to kierra)”

“Kayla and her family did a great job watching Luna, our 17 month old cavapoo. We were leaving Luna overnight and when I told her we were worried that Luna would run out the front door, she was very empathetic to our concerns and bought a gate to put us at ease. That sealed it for me. I would definitely use Kayla again. Thank you Kayla and family!”

“Janine was great! She made Rory feel comfortable and took good care of her for a week while we were away. I got daily updates and would definitely have Rory stay with Janine again, which I know Rory would love.”

“I am an overprotective dog mommy. Sharon gained my trust immediately. Her yard, play time and individual care to our Kingsley is highly commendable! Have already recommended Sharon to another family member. Our dogs had no issues with each other, an absolute plus!”

About: Have had dogs my whole life. I am very patient and kind to dogs. My wife and I have a fenced yard. Our last dog was 18 years old and we loved her to the end. I’m currently working 4 days a week at home so have plenty of time to play with the dog, feed the dog or let the dog outside to play. I can also walk the dog a few times throughout the day as needed. I have a fenced yard and work from home so can easily watch your dog in a safe environment and will be able to give your pet the attention it deserves.
“It was lovely meeting Bridget, her and her kids were so sweet. She was a great sitter for our dog. She kept us updated with pics and was able to help us out with our last minute booking needs. We will definitely be using her again!”

“Sara and her family are wonderful! Our dog Ember has stayed with her many times over the last few years and always has a great time. Sara sends frequent updates and I always feel comfortable knowing that Ember is getting amazing care. Thank you Sara :)”

“My wife and I needed a last minute dog sitter, and we found dilania here on rover. Her response was quick. When we dropped our dogs off she gave updates and took great care of our pups.”

“Cindy was beyond wonderful to our SUPER codependent, velcro pittie, Miss Judy. We were nervous about leaving Judy with a sitter so we spent hours reading reviews of everyone on Rover - Cindy’s profile and reviews jumped out at me and said she was the right choice. Expectations met and exceeded by far. She was warm and welcoming to us right away which made Judy calm and not as jittery as usual. Her house is beautiful outside and inside and immaculate with plenty of room outside for a play and exploring. Judy loved it apparently and made it her mission to go outside every hour to do some exploring. Cindy kept in touch with us every day giving updates with photos and videos so we knew all was going well and Judy was very happy there. Not everybody does that when dog sitting and it truly is the most comforting thing to be able to see your dog while you are away. The updates allowed us to relax and enjoy our few days away without stressing over Judy’s care. We knew she was in the best hands and you can’t put a price on peace of mind! Thank you Cindy for everything - we appreciate it more than you know!”

“Kona is only 6 month old, and it was her first time away from us. She stayed for a week. Gloria took great care of her. I was updated with pictures daily which put my mind at ease. I will definitely use Gloria again when we are traveling. She was communicating well and responding to messages right away.”

About: I’ve had dogs all of my life. I’ve had small dogs such as Yorkies, Medium dogs, such as Poodles and Terriers and Large dogs, such as a Redbone hound! I feed, give treats, play, walk, bath and most of all - LOVE on all of my pets! I just love all animals, I have my whole life 🐾❤️ If we went back in time, and you asked we the infamous question "what do you want to be when you grow up", my response was "A Veterinarian". Unfortunately, I didn't go that route because I'm unable to see animals sick and suffering :( I ENJOY seeing and playing with happy, healthy pups... and I will treat your dog the way that I treat my babies!!! I’m currently working Full Time from my home, and I take frequent breaks to care for my animals. I’m off on the weekends, so I’ll have more time to play, walk and take care of your pup! I enjoy being home and I feel so fortunate that I'm able to make my own schedules from here. I have a dog sitter on Rover for our dog. When we first used her, of course - I was nervous, which is totally normal. BUT - after his first visit with the sitter, he came home happy and healthy!! I lOVED how it was 1:1 sitting. She was very responsive too when we were away, which I very much appreciated. I love this dog service and just because of my love of animals, too - I've decided to become a sitter myself !!! I have a full fenced in yard with a big patio to sunbathe. We also have grass and a semi-inground pool. Our dog is a friendly Redbone Hound that LOVES other dogs. He’s the friendliest dog ever. He’s out in the yard a ton during the nice days, and LOVES the snow, too! I have 2 daughters ages 11 and 8 who have the same love for pets as I do. I’ve been so lucky my whole life to have had such amazing pets.
About: What sets me apart is the genuine care and attention I give to every dog I look after. I treat them like my own—with love, patience, and respect for their routines. I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes, and I’m comfortable with both puppies and senior dogs. I understand that each dog has its own personality and needs, and I take the time to make sure they feel safe and happy in my care. Since I’m not currently a dog owner, I pour all my energy and affection into the dogs I sit for. I also have a fenced yard, which gives dogs a secure place to play and relax. I’m reliable, detail-oriented, and always keep pet parents updated so they can feel confident while they’re away. Pet care is something I genuinely enjoy, and I make time for it on weekends and some weekday evenings. I’m usually available on weekends for boarding and daycare, and with advance notice, I can provide walks or care after 5:00 PM during the week. Since I don’t currently have a dog of my own, spending time with pets through Rover gives me the chance to enjoy their company and provide the attention they deserve. It’s something I look forward to fitting into my weekly routine, and I always plan my schedule carefully to give each dog quality care and attention. When caring for dogs in my home, I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and part of the family. I live in a house with a fenced yard, so dogs have a secure space to play and get fresh air. I stick to their usual routines as closely as possible—feeding, walking, playtime, and rest—based on their owner’s instructions. I keep a calm, clean environment and always give plenty of love and attention. For walks and weekend daycare, I focus on making the experience fun and stress-free. I tailor walks to each dog’s energy level and needs, whether it’s a quick potty break or a longer walk for exercise. I also pay close attention to leash safety, weather conditions, and staying in familiar areas unless otherwise requested. Whether in my home or out and about, your dog’s comfort, safety, and happiness are always my top priority.
About: I’ve shared my life with animals of all shapes and sizes, from parrots and hedgehogs to my own beloved dogs and cats. Years of shelter volunteering and working on basic obedience with rescue dogs have taught me how to read animal body language and provide a calm, steady presence. I pride myself on maintaining a clean, organized home where your pet's comfort and safety are always the top priority. Puppy Daycare** smaller socialization groups, frequent potty breaks to re-enforce good housebreaking habits, basic household "manners" taught in a family setting. I can help you get through the puppy blues! Please note: I try my best to keep my calendar as up to date as possible but please verify dates and times with me - whether my calendar says I'm available or not - sometimes things change. I also limit the amount of pets I'm caring for at any given time depending on personalities and needs. I work from home which allows me to provide constant, attentive care and plenty of playtime for your best friend. I can easily incorporate the schedule of each of my guest's into my daily routine so they feel right at home. I believe in choice-based care, ensuring your best friend feels right at home in a way that suits their routine. Your pet will enjoy the security of a cozy, dedicated home equipped with pens and crates if needed for puppies undergoing housebreaking or anxious pups who need extra security. Confident and adventurous pups are welcome to free roam. I have a fully fenced in backyard with a dediated area for small pups and potty breaks. My goal is to provide a warm, family-style setting where your pet can enjoy afternoon play, snuggles, and the company of my own friendly puppy and cat.
“Michele welcomed our little baby at the last minute and showed her so much love. She constantly updated me with pics and little messages regarding her stay. Michele and her family are very loving.”

Rachel Rachel was absolutely wonderful with Nilo. This was our first time using her services after our regular sitter had an unexpected emergency, and she was kind enough to meet with us right away. Nilo can be a little challenging at times, so I made sure to explain his personality, behaviors, and needs. Rachel was incredibly patient, understanding, and caring from the very beginning. She took the time to make Nilo feel comfortable, took him on several walks, and it was clear that he felt safe and relaxed in her home. It means so much to find someone who genuinely cares for your pet, and Rachel did exactly that. We felt at ease knowing Nilo was in such good hands. We are so grateful for her help and would not hesitate to book with her again. Thank you, Rachel, for taking such great care of our Nilo! ❤️ We highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate pet sitter.

Trevor and Sabrina did an absolutely amazing job with my dog, Clyde. I received photos, communication was seamless, and due to my travels being delayed was able to have my dog spend some extra time there with no hesitation. Overall the experience was amazing and will definitely be returning to them in the future.

My husband and I recently needed a last minute pet sitter for our dog and Susan came through for us big time! Our girl Lexi had never stayed with people she didn't know but she warmed up to Susan and her husband immediately. They are super kind, trust worthy and provide a warm safe haven for your fur baby. She sent lots pictures and updates. We feel very fortunate to have found her and wouldn't hesitate to book with her again. Thank you Susan!
