About: Hi! I’m an animal lover who would love to spend time and play with your pet! I am willing to drop in more than once a day and stay for long periods of time. I am a very caring and reliable pet sitter. I’m good with taking care of dogs and cats. I’ve been caring for animals for a couple of years now and couldn’t be happier doing it. I always have a car available to me. I will take your pet anywhere they’d like to go whether it’s the park the beach or just a walk around the neighborhood and more! I will make sure to do everything you request and will make your animal feel comfortable and happy while you’re away. I love meeting and caring for new animals! I’m an esthetician, so pet care fits perfectly around my work schedule. I stop by before and after my shifts to give pets love, walks, and attention they need. I care for pets just like they’re my own, sticking to their schedule, keeping things tidy, and giving lots of attention and cuddles. make walks fun and safe, always matching the dog’s pace and giving fresh water, praise, and care. Also will take so many pictures and send them to you.

About: I've been caring for animals for years and have hands-on experience with both dogs and cats. I currently care for my own high-energy Shepherd mix, so I'm comfortable handling large, energetic dogs and understand the importance of patience, consistency, and reading body language. I've also cared for multiple cats while their owners were away, making sure they were fed, had fresh water, clean litter boxes, plenty of attention (or space, depending on their personality), and that their owners received regular updates for peace of mind. In addition to everyday pet care, I have experience caring for dogs with medical needs. My current dog is undergoing heartworm treatment, which has taught me how important it is to follow medication schedules, activity restrictions, and provide calm, attentive care. I also helped care for my childhood dog throughout kidney disease. Whether your pet is playful, shy, young, senior, or needs a little extra patience, I'll treat them like one of my own and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. Pet care is already a big part of my daily routine. I have a dog of my own, so I'm used to early mornings, frequent potty breaks, walks, playtime, and sticking to a schedule. I work part-time, which gives me flexibility for drop-in visits, walks, and pet sitting. I'll always make sure your pet gets the attention, exercise, and care they deserve. I care for every pet as if they were my own. I always follow each owner's instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, medications, crate routines, and exercise needs. I have experience caring for both dogs and cats, including pets with medical needs, so I'm comfortable paying close attention to behavior and making sure they stay safe, happy, and comfortable. I'll also keep you updated with plenty of photos and messages so you know your pet is in good hands.

“Amy took great care of my dog and cat. I can’t explain what a relief it was to find her. My mini dachshund is 16 years old and I don’t like to bring him into new environments or away from his best friend pelé the cat, so it worked out perfectly. I would highly recommend Amy!”

“I booked Siobhan last minute over a busy holiday week, and I seriously couldn’t have asked for a better experience. She took incredible care of my two dogs and I got regular updates, photos, and total peace of mind the entire time. I’m so grateful for her help and will definitely be booking again. Highly recommend!”
“Natasha did an excellent job getting our skittish Springer Spaniel to warm up and make friends while we were away. Natasha was able to get Maisie to calm down and relax by just being calm and sensitive to her fears and protective instincts. We plan to use Natasha again.”
“Andrea is wonderful with Teddy. I am so glad we found Andrea as she always takes such good care of Teddy when I need. Andrea is friendly, reliable, trustworthy and responds timely. I highly recommend Andrea for the best pet care services.”

“Katharine was great! I'm still nervous leaving our new puppy and she was very communicative and made sure to send lots of pictures so I knew how they were doing! We'll definitely be asking her to stay with Murphy and Maisie again!!”

“Breanna was an amazing pet sitter for my dog and cat!! She went above and beyond caring for them and was super communicative and loving with them. Would definitely have her pet sit for them again ❤️❤️”

“We are incredibly grateful to Karen for taking such wonderful care of our two dogs during our vacation through drop-in visits at the house. This enabled them to stay where they were comfortable and not be boarded. Karen was both professional and friendly, making us feel completely at ease while we were away. She was in contact with photos and summaries of visits which gave us peace of mind. She fed them, let them out, and engaged them in play. It was clear that she genuinely cared about our dogs, and they loved her. We will certainly be booking her services again in the future. Thank you, Karen, for your outstanding care!”

“Ella was great! My dog is high maintenance needing medication that she doesn’t easily take and having accidents while she’s alone, Ella was able to give her meds and cleaned up after the accidents. She gave detailed updates of her time as well along with pictures.”

“Words cannot express how happy we were with the services provided by Seamus. His updates and photos put us at ease that our two cats were being well taken care of. Seamus was attentive and spent quality time with Skittles and Tomasina. When he was concerned about something ( a hairball) Seamus promptly and calmly contacted us. He treated our cats as if they were his own. We will be booking and the cats will be looking forward to their visit from Seamus in the near future.”

“I am so thankful I found Madison!!! She fed my cat for me twice a day while I was on a long trip in Europe. It was the first time I was leaving him alone for so many days but Madison really put me at ease knowing he was in good hands. She was professional and courteous. She communicated with me throughout my trip to let me know he was doing well. My cat can be a spicy boy but she handled him with ease. She even kept my house tidy and was attentive to taking out trash and brought in a package for me! She was great. I would recommend her a million times and I will gladly book with her again in the future!!!”

“My family and I are so grateful to have connected with Lauren! Having just moved and not knowing anybody in the area to look after our dogs, I was nervous about finding someone to help us out while we were away for a long weekend at the beach. My dogs took to Lauren immediately! She is extremely nice, down to Earth, responsive and reliable. I felt extremely comfortable with her in our home. She sent photos and updates of the pups during her visits as well. Highly recommend and am excited to book her again in the near future!”

About: I was raised with pets. Since my childhood, I have had cats and dogs. I have also potty trained, provided basic training (walking on leash, not pulling, socialization) for dogs. I am a dog grandma to a cockapoo and pitbull who adore me and drive their parents crazy when I am around because I spoil them. I have experience with dogs, cats and some farm animals (cows, chicken) from my yearly summer visits to Guatemala. Like Children, pets take to me because of my loving nature. I am a nurturer and enjoy the company of animals. There seems to be genuine connections. I enjoy their company, cuddling and talking to them. I will treat your babies as if they were my own. Although, I may not allow pets on furniture, if they are used to it, there is always an exception to the rule. They will always feel as if they were at home. Let's meet and I can guarantee your pet will have a great connection with me. I am available to pet sit at your home or mine. Either way, "mi casa" will be "their casa." I don’t mind cat sitting. However, it would be best to care for them in your home as I recently found out, my live in boyfriend is allergic. I currently work from home 3 times a week and my husband twice a week. We have a spacious backyard and can provide their daily activity as needed. We also have the flexibility to walk our furry friends (as requested). Please note: your pets will have their own space and will get lots of love from us. We have a fenced yard with plenty of space and a friendly furry friend. We are available for a meet and greet before finalizing a booking.
About: I’ve taken care of various breeds of dogs over the past 11 years — including my own, other family members’, as well as friends’ and acquaintances’ — whether it’s for a walk around the neighborhood or spending some quality time while the family’s away Being a teacher, my week availability doesn’t really start till 3:30 (unless there’s a break). However, my weekends are more open, so I have more availability to stop by and visit with your pups! While visiting with your pet, I will keep an eye on them during walks and potty breaks, making sure they are secure on their leash and in their yard.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
