About: I had a German shepherd for 11 years who always got treated like royalty; from her cozy bedding for her afternoon naps, to her healthy-quality treats, and even me changing up the route of her walk so she doesn't get bored, are a few things I do for her that keeps her energy and mood up. I have a huge heart and just genuinely care about living things because they have feelings too. Generally, I am a pretty reliable person; I don't have children and Rover Pet Care seems like the perfect position to supplement my schedule with emotional rewards. While caring for pets, I always keep an eye on them at all times (they can get into things that they aren't supposed to sometimes), when walking my dog, I never let her be in control and is trained to walk by my side with obedience. Treats should be given sparingly and after they have listened to a command. Lastly, discipline is important, especially at puppy stages in order for them to know what is right and wrong.

About: I’ve taken responsibility of my own pets in my family for 10 years. Dog sat for my aunt for two years. Grew up with a Border Collie and two Dobermans! Trained my families new edition corgi, chow chow, and kelpie Shepard mix who’s now 2 years of age. I work part time as a college student finishing up my second semester before summer break. I’m currently studying at SUNY Cobleskill, so I bring both hands on experience and current training knowledge into my care. I’m especially comfortable with puppies, helping with basics like leash manners, crate training, and building good habits, and I’m also very patient with senior dogs, making sure they stay comfortable and safe. I pay close attention to each dog’s behavior and body language so I can adjust to their needs, whether they’re energetic, shy, or reactive. I’m not just there to watch your dog, I’m there to understand them, support them, and make sure they feel safe and cared for while you’re away. Pet care fits easily into my routine because I’m currently on summer break from SUNY Cobleskill where I study K9 Training and Management, so I have a lot of free time and flexibility in my schedule. This allows me to give pets plenty of attention throughout the day, including walks, playtime, feeding, and check-ins. Since working with dogs is something I’m passionate about and studying for, I enjoy making it part of my daily routine and making sure each pet gets the care, exercise, and attention they need while their owners are away. When caring for pets in your home, I focus on keeping their routine as normal and comfortable as possible. I follow your instructions closely for feeding, walks, medication if needed, and any specific care the pet requires. I also make sure they get plenty of attention, playtime, and exercise depending on their energy level and personality.

About: I was raised with pets. Since my childhood, I have had cats and dogs. I have also potty trained, provided basic training (walking on leash, not pulling, socialization) for dogs. I am a dog grandma to a cockapoo and pitbull who adore me and drive their parents crazy when I am around because I spoil them. I have experience with dogs, cats and some farm animals (cows, chicken) from my yearly summer visits to Guatemala. Like Children, pets take to me because of my loving nature. I am a nurturer and enjoy the company of animals. There seems to be genuine connections. I enjoy their company, cuddling and talking to them. I will treat your babies as if they were my own. Although, I may not allow pets on furniture, if they are used to it, there is always an exception to the rule. They will always feel as if they were at home. Let's meet and I can guarantee your pet will have a great connection with me. I am available to pet sit at your home or mine. Either way, "mi casa" will be "their casa." I don’t mind cat sitting. However, it would be best to care for them in your home as I recently found out, my live in boyfriend is allergic. I currently work from home 3 times a week and my husband twice a week. We have a spacious backyard and can provide their daily activity as needed. We also have the flexibility to walk our furry friends (as requested). Please note: your pets will have their own space and will get lots of love from us. We have a fenced yard with plenty of space and a friendly furry friend. We are available for a meet and greet before finalizing a booking.

About: I’ve taken care of various breeds of dogs over the past 11 years — including my own, other family members’, as well as friends’ and acquaintances’ — whether it’s for a walk around the neighborhood or spending some quality time while the family’s away Being a teacher, my week availability doesn’t really start till 3:30 (unless there’s a break). However, my weekends are more open, so I have more availability to stop by and visit with your pups! While visiting with your pet, I will keep an eye on them during walks and potty breaks, making sure they are secure on their leash and in their yard.
