About: I’m an avid animal lover with years of hands-on experience and you can rest assured when your pets are in my care! I’ve worked as a dog handler for an animal shelter and as a professional dog walker and pet sitter before starting my own business. I now proudly operate Wander Paws LLC, my fully insured pet care company, which I’ve been running independently for over six years. All pet care services are delivered personally by me, because your pets deserve familiar care and happy routines. Many of my clients have been with me for years, and I’ve had the joy of caring for several of their pets since puppyhood! Over time, I’ve looked after countless dogs, cats, and other small animals of all breeds, ages, and temperaments while their parents are home or away. I’m 27 years old and I am focused on building my business! I truly love spending my time taking care of your pets. And when I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my own pack of pets at home: three dogs (a shepherd mix, a lab mix, and a terrier mix) and five rescue cats😊 I would love to provide all your pet care needs, from walks and playtime to feedings and medication. I’m also comfortable with light household tasks like handling keys, operating security systems, scooping litter boxes, bringing in mail, cleaning up pet messes, and keeping your home safe and secure. I will precisely follow the instructions and routines you provide. As a lifelong pet owner, I understand how important it is to leave your pets in the care of someone you trust. I’ll care for your pets as if they were my own, with plenty of love, consistency, and attention to detail. 💛 Flat rate care: I never charge extra for multiple pets or puppies. Medication, feeding, and special routines included. ✨ Don’t hesitate to reach out to schedule a free meet & greet. I can’t wait to meet you and your pets! AVAILABILITY: I have a daily schedule of dog walking & pet sitting Mondays-Fridays and I am now accepting new clients! I try my best to be very flexible, so please reach out and let me know what times you might need pet care and I will do my absolute best to accommodate whatever you might need. SAFETY: My clients’ safety, (both pets & people!), is my upmost priority. When going for walks, I will make sure your dog(s) is harnessed/leashed up extremely securely. Most of the time, I will attach their leash to BOTH their collar and their harness so if there is ever a product malfunction, they won’t ever get loose. I will walk your fur baby with my full attention and will not allow them to greet other dogs on their walk unless I am 100% sure that both dogs are friendly. I completely avoid any loose dogs that we might see on our walks to avoid confrontation. When letting your pets in the yard, I will always make sure that the gate(s) are securely closed before letting them out. If you have indoor cats, I will make sure they are safe inside of your home at ALL times. I will only feed your pets treats & food that you provide to avoid any allergic reactions. I triple check that all doors to your home are locked while I take your dog(s) out for a walk and after I leave. I am comfortable using any security systems you might have to ensure that your home is completely secure. If you confine your dog to a space for their safety while you are not home, (crate, room, playpen, etc.), I will also triple check that they are secured in that space before I leave. I will do everything in my power to make you & your pet(s) feel as comfortable as possible. Please communicate any safety concerns you might have with me. Your peace of mind is my top priority!
“Our cats are our kids and we hate them being lonely and uncomfortable when we are away. Our newest rescue also seems to not like men so much, so this time when we needed a sitter last minute we reached out to Ella and hit the jackpot!! Ella followed all our directions for feeding etc and kept our house clean while we were away...which isn't easy with 2 cats. Our cats, which can be very shy initially, fell in love with Ella and it put us at ease knowing how happy they were with her and how much they looked forward to seeing her. Highly recommend Ella to take care of your pets. She is very responsible, corresponds with you very well, and loves your pets like her own.”

“Amy took great care of my dog and cat. I can’t explain what a relief it was to find her. My mini dachshund is 16 years old and I don’t like to bring him into new environments or away from his best friend pelé the cat, so it worked out perfectly. I would highly recommend Amy!”

“Having Lauren care for my cats gave us peace of mind while we were on vacation. With each check in she sent us photos and was always available if we should have any questions. I will certainly be reaching out to her again to check in on my cats for any future vacations.”

“Elaina is the absolute best! I have used her services repeatedly now, and could not be more grateful to have found her here on Rover. She is extremely accommodating, responsive, and genuinely a kind human. Someone you would want to leave your pup with, and feel very comfortable doing so! I could not recommend Elaina enough.”

“Samantha was great! She took the time to meet with us before her visits to make sure everything was in order and sent great updates and pictures each day. She was flexible and even able to add on an extra day when our plans changed. Would definitely use her again in the future.”

About: I've had dogs for my entire life since I was a child. Bred Australian shepherds, so comfortable with puppies. My aussie had 11 pups. Such a wonderful time, bottle feeding. Have gone to many dog training classes. The dogs are part of the family while here. Not caged unless you want them crated when I'm not home. When they are outside I stay with them entire time, not left in back yard without me there to supervise. Simply adore dogs and all their own personalities. I take the time to spend individual and special time with the dog everyday while staying with me. Have my own dog, An Australian shepherd named Jilli, she simply loves having dog friends over so she can play and sharing her dog toys. Her favorite thing is playing catch in the backyard with a dog friend.
About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my hands-on experience raising and training a puppy, giving me patience and expertise in leash manners, socialization, and potty training. I tailor each walk to a dog’s needs, whether they need high-energy play, gentle strolls, or extra reassurance. My background in caregiving makes me reliable, attentive, and dedicated to ensuring every pup feels safe, happy, and loved. Additionally, I have experience handling anxious or shy dogs, making me a great choice for pets that need extra patience and understanding. Every walk with me is fun, engaging, and full of tail wags! I have a flexible schedule and can accommodate morning, afternoon, and evening walks or visits. I’m available throughout the week and on weekends, with some advance notice. I balance my own puppy’s routine with pet care, ensuring I have dedicated time to focus on each pet I care for. Let me know what works best for you, and I’ll do my best to accommodate! I provide a safe, pet-friendly environment in my home where every furry guest gets personalized attention and care. My home is set up for comfort, with designated spaces for play, rest, and meals. Since I have a puppy, I ensure all pets are properly introduced, and I tailor care to each pet’s needs—whether that’s playtime, quiet relaxation, or extra supervision. I follow feeding and care routines closely, keeping owners updated so they feel at ease. My goal is to make every pet feel right at home!

South Farmingdale cat parents share their Rover experiences
I am a senior living with my 5 senior cats. They are my family and their happiness is my happiness. Although I like to travel, I hesitate to ask my son and daughter-in-law to take care of them over and over again while I am out of town. I was planning to visit my other son and his family to see my grandkids in NC. I decided to give a try to drop-in care. After checking all the options, I decided on SARAH based on her background and reviews. What a choice I made; she was excellent, deserving more than 5 stars. First of all, she is an animal lover. My cats have a strong sense if a person likes them or not. They will either come to great that person or totally disappear. Looking at the pictures Sarah provided, they are all around her. Even on her shoulder, hugging. Yes, she sent me plenty of pictures every day, including before and after pictures of their plates, litter boxes, She let me know every detail about their wellbeing even sent me the pictures of throw ups, if she found one. When I was back, I found the house clean and in order. She even took all the garbage out with her. Well, I couldn’t ask anything more from her. I feel very comfortable leaving my cats with her again.
Stephanie once again cared for my four cats -- this time for 10 days. She is so great to work with. Responsive and responsible. She sent pictures daily, spent time giving my curmudgeonly kitties love and play time, and ultimately allowed me to enjoy my vacation without a single worry. She is just a wonderful.
