About: As a proud dog owner of two family dogs, I have hands on experience caring for pets every day. Taking care of them has taught me the importance of patience, responsibility, and giving pets the attention they deserve. I have also dog sat for family members and friends, helping with feeding, walks, playtime, and keeping pets comfortable while their owners were away. I genuinely enjoy being around dogs and treat every pet as if they were my own. I am reliable, easy to communicate with, and genuinely passionate about animals. My flexible schedule allows me to be available for last minute bookings, drop in visits, and walks whenever needed. I look forward to meeting you and your furry friend! When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always follow the pet owner’s instructions and routines to help pets feel comfortable and secure in their familiar environment. I make sure pets have fresh water, are fed on schedule, receive plenty of exercise and attention, and have a clean living space. During walks and outdoor time, I prioritize safety by keeping dogs securely leashed and monitoring their surroundings. I treat every home with respect, keeping it clean and secure while providing dependable and loving care for each pet.

Diana was great with our Goldendoodle Clancy. They bonded at the meet and greet and he was very comfortable with her. She gave him a long walk, fed him and sent a ton of pictures. We have a new dog walker! Thank you Diana!

About: Hey there! I am new to sitting, but always willing to learn and gain experience :) Happy to take on any type of dog or cat (I have both). My cat is an escape artist, and my dog is insane. I can handle it all. I am free all summer for pet care! There is a short stretch of time in August where i will be away, but other than that, I am excited to meet new pet friends :) I am well versed in crating dogs, as well as keeping an eye on mischievous animals. I will follow any instructions given very carefully and ensure your pet is happy and healthy while you are away.

Max was fantastic! I needed a dog sitter as soon as possible and found him on Rover. He responded quickly to my request. Since I was going on a trip the next day, I was able to meet Max the same day so he could get to know Bully. Max took Bully out for walks and fed him every day and send me pictures of bully. Thank you so much for your help! I will definitely use your services to take care of Bully again..

About: Every dog deserves to feel like the main character of their day, not just the sidekick waiting for their human to get home. I keep a small number of weekday time slots open, so your dog gets the same dependable care each visit with plenty of updates so you know their story has a happy ending every time. I provide consistent, routine-based care for dogs who need walks and drop-ins during the workweek. Whether your dog is high-energy, a little anxious, or just thrives on structure, I make sure they’re exercised, cared for, and settled so their day flows smoothly. I’ve worked with dogs of all sizes and temperaments and I’m comfortable following detailed routines, feeding schedules, and administering medications if needed. I’m a full-time author with a flexible schedule, so I’m available for consistent walks, drop-ins, and daytime care. Weekday midday visits and after-work slots are my most popular, and I keep a few standing times open for repeat clients who need reliable coverage during the week. I’m also available for house sitting. If you’re looking for ongoing care, I’m happy to help you with a routine that works for you and your dog. When I’m caring for your dog in your home, I follow your routines closely including mealtimes, walks, medications, and any training rules you have in place. I’ve worked with dogs of all sizes and temperaments, including anxious, high-energy, and routine-sensitive dogs. I’m comfortable with crates if needed and focus on keeping dogs calm, engaged, and secure in their familiar space. You’ll get regular updates so you always know how your dog’s day is going.

About: I’ve had many cats and dogs ever since I was a child. My mom is a volunteer at a local shelter and we have fostered several dogs in the past as well. I have helped care for our own pets and the fosters over the years and I love it! I currently have a flexible schedule and am available for drop-ins or walks any day of the week. Times are also flexible for walks and drop-ins. I care for pets by listening to the pet owner’s directions in what they would like me to do and how they would like me to care for their pet. I am very friendly and affectionate but can also be stern when need be. I am able to walk, feed and clean litter boxes.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life and take pride in providing attentive, active care. I’m certified in behavior analysis which comes in handy when reading what a dog needs in that moment and develop new skills. Being a foster dog mom to a beautiful pitty has also depend my experience with working with different personalities and needs. I love incorporating engaging and enriching activities for my pups to support development and mental stimulation. I’m currently working a full time job Monday through Friday 9 to 5 but, I am also available all day Saturday through Sunday. Monday through Friday I can be free to provide evening walks and potty breaks. On weekends I can provide walks, potty breaks and dog sitting. While I do not provide boarding at my home due to having limited space, I am available to do the dog sitting in your home. In my home with my current foster, it has been important with keeping her schedule consistent to help with her anxiety. This means that I play an important role with sticking to the schedule we have set. We also focus on redirecting her anxiety to preferred activities or toys like her bones or even letting her run it off in the back yard. She is very affectionate so I am also used to giving her lots of praise when she is doing things she is supposed to be doing and giving her lots of hugs when she cues for them.

I was greatly impressed how the dogs took to her and happily all went for a long walk. I am so happy to have found her and can rest easy knowing they are in capable hands, when needed.

About: What I think truly sets me apart is my tailored approach to each dog's needs, ranging from feeding medicine, to early walks or even just lovey extra attention, I’m always here for it. I like combining enthusiastic play with disciplined training techniques. Whether your furry friend is a playful pup needing playbite training and endless games of fetch, or a cherished senior who thrives on gentle care, medication reminders, and comforting companionship, I really try to provide a safe, loving, and happy environment. My experience includes puppy socialization and specialized senior dog care, ensuring every dog in my charge receives the individual attention and expert care they deserve, making their time with me feel just like your home. At the moment now, I am unemployed so that gives me more then enough time (even every day) to help take care of your pup when you need it! With every pet is different, I like to converse with the owner about the character of the dog and habits as well as any other important health information that I should keep in mind before sitting, and if it is in your home, I’m very well mannered and have respect for not just the home but pups safety too

About: I had a German shepherd for 11 years who always got treated like royalty; from her cozy bedding for her afternoon naps, to her healthy-quality treats, and even me changing up the route of her walk so she doesn't get bored, are a few things I do for her that keeps her energy and mood up. I have a huge heart and just genuinely care about living things because they have feelings too. Generally, I am a pretty reliable person; I don't have children and Rover Pet Care seems like the perfect position to supplement my schedule with emotional rewards. While caring for pets, I always keep an eye on them at all times (they can get into things that they aren't supposed to sometimes), when walking my dog, I never let her be in control and is trained to walk by my side with obedience. Treats should be given sparingly and after they have listened to a command. Lastly, discipline is important, especially at puppy stages in order for them to know what is right and wrong.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
