With it's miles of sidewalks the neighborhood of Farmingdale is an excellent place to walk dogs. I find walking the same route each day with a dog is a simple routine with great benefits. It provides a positive consistent habit that gives dogs a sense of security, confidence and overall well being. I purposely choose the more natural parts of Farmingdale to walk that include flora & fauna, less traffic noise and more birds and squirrel noise so we are both feeling like we are outside in the natural world.
