About: I’ve grown up around both dogs and cats and have experience caring for pets for friends and family through walking, feeding, and playing while they’re away. I currently have my own 13 year old cat and previously had a dog, so I’m comfortable with pets of different personalities and energy levels. I’m dependable, attentive, and always make sure pets feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for. I love meeting new fur babies! :) I’m currently working part time Monday through Wednesday until about 3pm, so I’m usually available in the afternoons and evenings on those days. I also have plenty of flexibility the rest of the week. I take care of my senior cat every day, so I’m already used to feeding, cleaning up, and making sure a pet is comfortable and getting lots of attention throughout the day I’ll take great care of your pet and make sure they feel happy and comfortable while you’re away! I will feed them on time, take them on walks or let them in the yard to get all their energy out! I love playing with all animals as if they were my own :)
“Ella is very knowledgeable and professional. She pays attention to detail, makes sure to get to know your pet and asks all the right questions to make you feel as if you’ve known her forever and fully trust her with your pet. Lukas very much enjoyed his walk and came back very happy! Thank you Ella!”

“Meghan followed the specific directions we left for her. Our boy is older and used to a specific schedule. On time and great communication. Thanks for taking great care of Duke.”

About: I’ve been around animals all throughout my life, wether it be our own pets or animals I’ve worked with. Growing up in an animal loving house with a veterinarian has helped shaped the person I am today who gives 110% when taking care of any fur-baby. I am currently home from college for the summer so I have a clear schedule ready to help out with anyones pets whenever it is needed! By creating an environment that is catered to each animal and their comforts when their owner is away, I can help pets feel safe and happy!
About: I have experience with puppies (basic training, routines) and senior dogs (gentle care, medications), and I treat every pet like my own while keeping owners updated and worry free. Pet care fits naturally into my routine since I work from home, allowing me to give dogs plenty of attention, supervision, and frequent breaks throughout the day. I also occasionally babysit for a friend nearby, which is easy to balance with pet care and never takes me far from the home. This flexibility lets me maintain consistent routines, playtime, and quality care for every pet. I follow each pet’s usual routine to help them feel comfortable and secure. I provide plenty of supervision, playtime, walks, and affection, along with feeding and any special care needed. I keep the environment safe and calm, respect house rules, and share regular updates so owners always know how their pet is doing. 🐾
“Lily was great with my pup! He really loved spending time with her and was always excited when she came. She did a great job communicating! She made me feel completely comfortable with leaving my pup in her hands. Thanks Lily!!!”

About: I have been a Rover sitter for over 3 years now. I have great experience with walking larger, stronger breeds, and am open to house sitting just about any animal. I have been a sitter for cats, dogs, and even lizards. I have a flexible schedule with my schooling being online, and I am good with just about any activity level! From couch potato to energetic pets. I am free for a few visits/walks almost every day of the week. Weekends are better to be communicated with me in advance, but likely free as well. If I have some time in advance, I am always happy to dog/cat sit at your house. I have a very strong/energetic pitbull/dogo mix. He must be stimulated very often, so I go on 2-3 miles walks with him twice daily. My cat is a couch potato himself, and I spend my down time in the home hanging out with him, playing, and watching tv together.
About: Hi! My name is Rachel. I’m a passionate and reliable dog lover with a genuine love for all breeds, big and small. My goal is for you and your fur baby to feel at ease and comfortable while being apart. You will be receiving picture updates from me each day! I look forward to meeting you and your furry baby!! If I am watching your dog, it is because I am home and available to spend time with them. I can adjust to whatever their routine is. If I am watching your dog, it will be your dog only! I will not be having other dogs in my home or walking other dogs at the same time as yours. I can walk your dog as long as you want me too. If your dog is staying with me, they can happily snuggle and sleep with me!

I provide consistent, routine-based care for dogs who need walks and drop-ins during the workweek. I’ve worked with dogs of all sizes and temperaments and I’m comfortable following detailed routines, feeding schedules, and administering medications if needed. I’m a full-time author with a flexible schedule, so I’m available for consistent walks, drop-ins, and daytime care. Weekday midday visits and after-work slots are my most popular, and I keep a few standing times open for repeat clients who need reliable coverage during the week. I’m also available for house sitting. If you’re looking for ongoing care, I’m happy to help you with a routine that works for you and your dog. When I’m caring for your dog in your home, I follow your routines closely including mealtimes, walks, medications, and any training rules you have in place. I’m comfortable with crates if needed and focus on keeping dogs calm, engaged, and secure in their familiar space. You’ll get regular updates so you always know how your dog’s day is going.
“Taylor was fantastic! We needed to reschedule and she was on top of it and super responsive. Bryan was the best choice we could have made! He never missed a day, was always punctual, offered more help when needed, and was always available for extra walks if needed! He always updated me if my pet did not feel well, and just kept me in the loop with everything. I highly recommend choosing Bryan!
I was so happy to meet Deidre and have her care for my dog Luna. She was punctual, flexible and cared for Luna like she was her own. She went above and beyond. She sent reports and pictures daily as check ins so I could see Luna. I would highly recommend Deidre and will use her again for her services.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
