“I am so lucky to have met Suzanne because she is amazing. Reliable, intelligent and loves my fur baby. I’m confident that my boy is getting exceptional care when he is left in Suzanne‘s care.”

“Lenora is amazing! She took excellent care of our dogs and was very helpful when we had to adjust our travel plans and needed additional care. The entire time she was prompt, professional, and easy to communicate with. And our dogs loved her :) I can’t recommend her highly enough!!”

“Kristina was great with my dog, Mika. She was reliable while I was out of the country, and I trusted her entirely to take her on walks and make sure she had good company. I would definitely recommend her!”

About: I pride myself on being someone that others can trust to care for their pups when they’re away. I have a calm demeanor & positive energy that dogs respond positively too. I have experience with both puppies & senior dogs, and am comfortable administering medications. It’s truly my honor & pleasure to care for doggies and I’m excited to meet yours! With my current work schedule, I can offer early mornings or evening/night visits during the week and anytime during the weekend! I do not offer services on holidays. My dog’s safety is my absolute top priority, and caring for your dog will be no different! I understand the importance of maintaining a secure and comfortable environment for your dog. For drop-ins, I assure you that I will be extremely careful & respectful while in your home. About: We are Hailey (Lee for short!) and Cole, we’ve been a couple for a year and a half, and we met in college where we’re going into our Junior year. Lee lives in Levittown and Cole lives in Manhattan, we travel between the two and Rover! Cole grew up with a lot of pets, 2 dogs and 13 cats at one point, and is currently taking care of his dog and chinchilla. Cole and Lee have previous experience dog walking, cat sitting, and housing sitting locally for friends and neighbors but have decided to broaden their horizons to help families in need! Special skills include senior dog care, medication administration, big dogs & “spicy” cat experience, and very flexible hours. We are both home from college, so our schedules are completely open. We are willing to travel to your location by E-bike/train in NYC and by car in Long Island. We take care of pets thoughtfully. We are not ones to assume when it comes to the well-being of others. We can guarantee you that whether the pet is someone else’s or our own, they will receive tentative, proper care. We take detailed notes of all instructions given, and even do prior check ins to discuss in person and meet your pet as well as live picture updates to ensure we give the owner all the reason to trust us with their pet. Let us prioritize your comfort as a pet owner, so you can prioritize leaving your pet in good hands!
About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my extensive hands on experience in veterinary care. I’ve worked as an emergency veterinary assistant at a 24/7 specialist hospital and currently work as a veterinary assistant at a general practice clinic. I’m also a pre-vet student at Cornell University, where I conduct research at the College of Veterinary Medicine. This background gives me a deep understanding of animal behavior, health, and emergency care. I’m comfortable caring for pets of all ages and needs from playful puppies to senior pets requiring medication or extra attention. I also have two cats of my own, Mango and Moo, so I truly understand how important it is to trust someone with your furry family members. I work part time during the day on some days, so I definitely have time to help you and your pet. I am quite flexible. To respect your home I treat it as my own. I ask permission before hand and make sure to keep clients in the loop at all times.
About: I bring a calm, loving, and patient approach to every animal I care for. I have a dog of my own who is naturally very nervous, and through consistent comfort, positive reinforcement, and routine, he has learned how to relax and feel safe. Because of this, I understand exactly how to support anxious or sensitive dogs. I’ve also cared for a senior dog who truly thrived under my attention — her energy, comfort, and overall happiness improved so much that she seemed to gain years of life. Caring for older pets with gentleness and understanding is something I take to heart. I genuinely enjoy playing, cuddling, and spending quality time with fur friends, and I always make sure all their emotional and physical needs are met. Whether they're energetic puppies, shy companions, or beloved seniors, I meet them where they are and give them the attentive, compassionate care they deserve. Pet care fits naturally into my daily and weekly routine because I currently work from home and create my own schedule. This gives me the flexibility to give pets consistent attention throughout the day — whether that means regular walks, feeding on time, play sessions, or just being present to keep them calm and comfortable. Since I’m home, I can easily adjust my routine around each pet’s needs, making sure they feel cared for, safe, and never rushed. Pets aren’t an interruption to my day — they’re a part of it. I follow all instructions carefully to make sure your pet stays safe, comfortable, and loved. I understand how important consistency is, so I always stick to your pet’s routine — meals, walks, playtime, and any special needs — to avoid confusion or stress. My goal is to give your pet the same care, attention, and affection they’re used to at home, so they feel secure and completely at ease while you’re away.
“Antonia is the perfect walker/sitter/pal for your dog. She is timely, reliable, and communicative. She makes sure to provide plenty of updates on her time with your dog and clearly takes joy in spending time with your friend. She is the only choice if you want your dog to have the best care available.”

“Max was fantastic! I needed a dog sitter as soon as possible and found him on Rover. He responded quickly to my request. Since I was going on a trip the next day, I was able to meet Max the same day so he could get to know Bully. Max took Bully out for walks and fed him every day and send me pictures of bully. Thank you so much for your help! I will definitely use your services to take care of Bully again..”

About: For me, dogs are family. My journey started with my first small dog at 13, and by 16, I was bringing rescue dogs home. This experience shaped my deep commitment to all dogs, especially the most vulnerable. I've cared for three wonderful senior dogs facing euthanasia, dedicated to ensuring their golden years were filled with health and happiness. Combined with experience walking and caring for friends' dogs of all breeds and sizes, I offer more than a service—I offer a promise of compassionate, knowledgeable, and devoted care for your beloved pet. My work-from-home lifestyle is the perfect foundation for pet care. My daily routine is flexible and built around the needs of the pets I'm sitting. They get constant companionship, frequent potty/play breaks throughout my workday, and their own feeding, walk, and sleep schedules become my schedule. It's a seamless fit. My approach is built on creating a safe, predictable, and loving environment, whether in my home or yours, and the most important part is, I will carry a body camera all the time to make sure your loves and my safety, I will always keep the footage in a week, so please feel to ask me the record if need😊 🎯 At My Home (Exclusive Boarding): · Controlled Environment: I only accept one boarding dog at a time. This guarantees your dog receives my undivided attention and avoids the stress of a busy kennel. · Safe Socialization: My own friendly dog provides gentle companionship. Play is always supervised. · Home Comforts: Your dog will have free roam of my dog-friendly first floor and access to a secure fenced yard for quick potty breaks and play. They are a guest in my home and will have their own comfortable bed for sleeping. 🏡 At Your Home (Pet Sitting): · Trust First: I require a mandatory Meet & Greet before any booking. This allows your dog to get comfortable with me in their own space and lets me gather all care instructions firsthand. · Routine is Key: I meticulously follow your provided schedule for feeding, medication, and walks to minimize your pet's anxiety. · Security & Updates: My visits include bringing in mail, rotating lights, simple room cleaning (plz make sure I can reach any cleaning tool of your house), and providing you with regular photo updates for peace of mind. 🚶 For Dog Walks: · Fully Prepared: I come equipped with waste bags, a collapsible water bowl, and fresh water. · Dog-Led Adventures: I believe walks are for the dog's enjoyment. I follow their preferred pace and route, allowing plenty of time for sniffing and exploration.
“Amanda was so great! Zuke absolutely loved her and I had no worries while I was away from home. She messaged me upon arrival and departure and even made sure Zuke was all set before she left! (He felt so comfortable with her that he even fell asleep ♡)”

About: I’ve been a dog owner for over 25 years. I have experience with different dog breeds, sizes and ages. I also had hamsters for years. I care for friends and other family member’s dogs. I walk, bathe, play, feed, give medication when needed, and even just keep pets company while they are with me. Communication is very important while pets are in my care so I will be in close contact and send pictures. I absolutely love animals and would have 10 of my own if I could! I work part-time so I have availability in my schedule to let dogs out, feed, play and walk. I also have time on weekends to help when needed. I am extremely reliable and responsible. I treat my own pets like they’re my children and will care for your pet in the same way. I will follow all instructions you leave for me and keep in continuous contact with you when they are in my care.
“Ella is such an amazing caregiver! She was so unbelievably responsible and thoughtful. She took notes on our pitbul and asked what his likes and dislikes were. She would leave us little check-in notes when she would visit and walk our pup. She will be my go to pup sitter forever! We felt so comfortable and most importantly our pup felt safe and happy with her.”

I cannot thank Wei enough for her help today! Louie wasn't feeling his best, and she went totally above and beyond by cleaning up an accident he had indoors. She was so patient with him, giving him a relaxing massage when he didn't feel like walking, and made sure he was clean and comfortable. Truly amazing service!

I thank my lucky stars that I found Sam on Rover! She has been walking Rosie four times a week for the past several months and she is absolutely amazing. Rose is a rare Mountain Shepherd rescued from Serbia and needs 5-7 miles of walking a day! This breed is not meant for the suburbs. She’s super strong, stubborn and independent but Sam knows exactly how to work with her. I’m so grateful and relieved that Sam is my dog walker and you would be too.

Bryan was the best choice we could have made! He never missed a day, was always punctual, offered more help when needed, and was always available for extra walks if needed! He always updated me if my pet did not feel well, and just kept me in the loop with everything. I highly recommend choosing Bryan!
I was so happy to meet Deidre and have her care for my dog Luna. She was punctual, flexible and cared for Luna like she was her own. She went above and beyond. She sent reports and pictures daily as check ins so I could see Luna. I would highly recommend Deidre and will use her again for her services.
