About: Hicksville/SOB Rd.& OCR... Home FULL TIME, Dogs are in a low stress enviroment. There is a bedroom on the main floor just for dogs who need not climb the stairs, and I will sleep with them too! My yard is fully fenced in a nice neighborhood for walks if requested. I do require a meet and greet prior to sitting your dog to make sure we are a match. Please bring your vet papers of vaccination. I'm home FT Drop off times-flexible Pick up times-Before 1:00 pm, after 1pm you will be charged an additional $25.00 for Boarding. My husband will stay with your dog if I have any errands to run. I will be with your pet as much as possible playing Fetch, Belly Rubs, Snuggling, or just looking out the window watching other doggies walk by or talking to the mailman! I know most of the dogs in my neighborhood from walking my son Mickey. Mickey is super friendly, and cuddly Puggle. He is 10 years old and unfortunately he has limited eye site. He shares, and loves doggies to visit. The reason I do this: I would love 2 dogs, but my husband says there's not enough room on our bed. So having sleep overs fills my need for a 2nd dog. Depending on the time of year along with the weather my husband will walk your dog With Mickey if requested. Bedtime is always on the first floor with me in our guest room,they can snuggle in bed with Mickey and I or curl up in a dog bed in the room. Snacks are given if you allow just bring your own. We have an in ground pool and will personally supervise your dog when the pool is open. If your pet swims, bring their swim vest! Again I do require all vaccines be up to date, and that you have a flea and tick preventive in use of your choice. Please bring that information during our Meet and Greet along with any needs for your fur baby and any questions you may have. Meet and Greet is in my home to assure we are a match allowing us to get acquainted for you to see our surroundings. They are free and can take 15-45 minutes. We will meet according to both our schedules. You can go away on your vacations, or quick day trips knowing your dog is in a happy loving environment. Bring what your dog needs to feel at home, leash, food, their bed/blanket (we have extra beds and dog dishes), favorite toy, or snacks. My house is small but our hearts are big❤️, we have room to make all our pets feel like they are home! I don't like to take more then 3 dogs at a time for sleep overs. That's just enough for me and my husband to stay cozy with your pet and mine. One at a time is preferred. I also administer medication both oral and injected for those needing.

About: Hi! I’m Lizzie, and I’ve loved dogs for as long as I can remember. I have experience caring for my own senior dog, as well as my family member’s dogs of different sizes. Over the past year, I’ve taken on more responsibility for my dog’s care, including regularly walking him and caring for him on my own while my family was away. Through caring for my own dog, I understand how important it is to have someone you trust looking after your pet. About: I’ve owned, or have been taking care of dogs since I was 10! I’ve owned a total of 4 dogs throughout my 22 years of life, and once I was old enough, my parents trusted me to help take care of them all! This includes walks, feeding, showers, hygiene, and playing with them! I love and appreciate all breeds and all sizes, and hope you’ll consider me to take care of your fur babies! I am currently working one, part-time job, so I’ll have plenty of time to spend with your pet(s)! My schedule varies based on a self selecting schedule, however, this leaves room to work around whatever your preferred schedule is! I am very good at staying on top of communication, if there are ever any questions about when I’m home and how long I can be home for, I will be fully transparent! I have a large, fenced in yard, in the back of a spacious, and open layout home! our neighborhood is quiet, dog friendly, and has lots of safe walkways to provide your dog exercise! Me and my roommates also own a total of 3 sweet kitties, that either keep your baby company, or are easy to keep occupied in our individual spaces to provide the most comfortable environment for your dog!

About: I’ve been walking dogs for the past three years, never had a problem with any size or breed. I’m fine with early mornings and late nights :) I am currently a part-time student and a part-time cashier, I know how to deal with almost anything your dog can throw at me. Yes I’m young, but I’m very confident in my vigilance and patience. I live in the best part of my neighborhood, and I always keep protection on me if anything happens. About: I have cared for animals ever since I was a little girl, have always had a dog in the house and would walk our neighbors dogs for fun every day. I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, guinea pigs, lizards etc. I am currently at stay at home mom for my 2 young daughters. I’m looking to make some extra money and play with as many dogs as possible with a my free time. We have a fenced in yard large enough for all types of dogs to run and play in. We also have double gates for extra safety in the yard. Inside the house we have gates set up to block off the livingroom where we can limit your dog from having access to the front door when people are entering and exiting the home. We also have a guest room that can be used if your pet gets overwhelmed or nervous and needs some alone or quiet time

About: Hey! I’m 27 year old vet tech student who works in emergency/speciality veterinary medicine and treats all animals as if they were my own. I have experience feeding, walking, basic grooming, and medicating pets of all sizes including small animals, reptiles and Aquatic animals as well as animals with special needs. I also own two happy healthy dogs, a 5 year old daschund and a 6 year old Labrador terrier mix. I genuinely care about your pets needs and comfort and happiness as well as yours- so expect plenty of photos while you are away from them. Best time to contact me would be early afternoons and mornings, and my schedule is completely available on Thursday, Friday’s and Saturdays so contact me ASAP to leave your pets in the best care! I work full time at an animal hospital and my schedule is usually the same every week, but somewhat flexible. Let me know in advance and we may be able to come up with a plan tailored to your baby. I'm a wildlife biologist, and I've spent most of my life taking care of animals — in a veterinary setting, on wildlife conservation projects, and growing up in my own home with my family pets. I work as a full-time biologist during the spring/summer, and will have open availability over the fall, winter, and spring to help with your pet care needs! I started out as a kennel technician at a veterinary hospital, where my days were cleaning dog kennels and cat cages, feeding and watering, walking dogs, giving oral and topical medications, holding animals for exams, and keeping daily records on everyone in our care. This job is where I learned how to understand an animal’s body language, and how to adjust my own to make sure they feel safe. Since then I've graduated from university and have worked as a field biologist for state and federal agencies, most recently monitoring endangered shorebirds at Jones Beach State Park here on Long Island. Along the way I provided daily care and feeding for state-owned horses in Oregon, and I've handled, banded, and released wild birds across four different groups — songbirds, raptors, waterfowl, and doves. If you have a bird and you get nervous about leaving them, let’s chat. I’d be happy to care for any feathered family members! At home I've kept lizards, snakes, birds, and aquariums of my own, so I'm comfortable with things like heat gradients and UVB, humidity, feeding schedules that aren't daily, and water parameters and filtration. Before the first visit I do a free meet-and-greet. I want to see where everything lives — food, leash, litter, carrier, cleaning supplies — and I write the routine down rather than trusting my memory: feeding times and amounts, medications, which treats are allowed, how your dog behaves on a walk, and anything that frightens them. I also want your vet's name and number and a backup contact before I'm ever in the house alone. The thing I'm most careful about is doors. I come and go deliberately, I know where every animal is before I open anything, and I never leave a door propped. Dogs stay leashed the entire time they're outside with me, with no off-leash exceptions unless you've asked for it specifically. I give Medication exactly as written, at the time you've specified, and I confirm each dose with you. I don't adjust a dose or skip one because an animal is being difficult — I'll message you instead. Following written protocols precisely is most of what my professional work has been, in a veterinary hospital and in the field, and I treat your instructions the same way. I pay attention and I report: appetite, water, litter box or bathroom habits, energy, and anything that looks off. If something seems wrong I'll contact you right away. If it looks like an emergency and I can't reach you, I'll get your pet to your vet or the nearest emergency clinic and keep calling. And I look after the house. I clean up after your pet and after myself, I keep your keys and door codes private, I don't bring anyone with me, and I leave the place better than I found it. You'll get photos and a short real update after every visit. I also welcome any feedback, as that helps me do a better job in the future!

I have plans to continue my education this fall by attending Veterinary medicine college and becoming a DVM! As a current graduate from veterinary technology school I have an abundance of time to dedicate to proper pet care. While also working in veterinary clinics, these hours are most midday and allowing me to be consistent to providing care typically most mornings and night during the week and midday during the weekends. With my wide range of services I offer, I have been trusted to care for pets in clients homes.
