About: I’ve been taking care of pets for as long as I can remember. I’ve had my dog for 12 years now who I trained myself and have been the primary care taker for. I’ve also had years of experience taking care of other people’s pets around the neighborhood and also for friends. I’ve had experiencing ranging from one day care to two weeks of care whether it be letting the dog out while the owners are away for the day or visiting a dog multiple times a day for two weeks to feed, walk, and give her love while her owners were on vacation. I currently work from home so i’m able to visit a pet before work and after work and am also able to stop in during the day as long as you’re not too far away from me! I can adapt to what your dog is used to and try to operate in your home the same way that you would by keeping the dog on the same schedule that they’re used to, walking them in a familiar area or letting them out in your yard.

It's so rewarding knowing that I can provide a safe, caring, and loving environment for an animal while its owners are away. I currently work as an actor and a freelance writer, so my schedule is pretty flexible. My writing work is remote and can be done from anywhere, and the acting work of course only comes when I book a role which I would know about in advance. I am available most days, nights, and weekends! I unfortunately cannot have dogs in my apartment, but I'm happy to overnight sit in a pet owner's home as I have done it numerous times over the years. I always make sure that doors leading outside are kept closed and locked and will make sure to walk into the house/apartment carefully so that no one gets out. I also make sure that leashes and harnesses are put on properly and comfortably before heading out for a walk. I can crate animals if needed and I never leave any food or other items out that could potentially be consumed by the pet. Your pet will always be safe with me!

About: For quite a few years I’ve taken care of dogs for family members, families all over Long Island and never disappointed! I’ve loved dogs all my life and still do. They’re honestly like family to me and I always treat my family with care, respect and love which is what a dog needs. I also have 2 dogs of my own and they is just the best thing that happened to me honestly and that’s why I’m working for this company because I’ve found something that I could work for and love doing what I do at the same time. I treat every dog like they’re mine! Every dog that has been to my house they are treated like our family, care for every one of them. I am home full time! Sometimes I go out to run a few errands which means I put the dogs in a crate but my mother works from home 2 days out of the week so if she’s there, she’ll keep them out and moving around on their own! Other than that, I am very free! Other than that, they will be taken great care of by me. In my home I have a huge clean yard that runs through the back, side and front it is fenced so the dogs could run freely around for daily exercise. I also love to walk so if your dog also loves to, we will definitely be a great match! I have two dogs of my own that’ll keep your lovely dog(s) company. They are very playful and welcoming, one is 6 years old and the other one is 5 years old, with all their shots and up to date with all doctor appointments. This is a smoke free house also. Your baby will be happy & safe here!

About: I have been around dogs for most of my life, having owned two dogs from ages 6-20, and I have since gained hands-on experience caring for pets with a wide range of personalities, ages and needs. I’ve pet sat for both cats and dogs, including caring for four cats and two dogs at once, managing litter boxes, wet and dry food routines, playtime and plenty of attention and affection. I also have experience administering oral medications and eye drops to dogs. One experience especially that sets me apart is caring for a Catahoula Leopard dog who was paralyzed in her hind legs, which involved expressing her bladder and assisting with her mobility alongside caring for another dog in the home. I’m comfortable with puppies as well, having provided drop-in care for a golden retriever at both 3 months and 6 months old, as well as extended dog and house sitting for a 2-year old golden retriever. I’ve always had pets of my own as well, usually a cat and a dog or two. My family had Whippets and a Doberman, and throughout my life I’ve also kept fish and the occasional reptile. Animals have always been a big part of my life, and I truly enjoy both the companionship they bring and learning about what makes each pet unique. If you trust me with your pet, I can promise they’ll be cared for and loved as if they were my own. I know how much our pets mean to us, and I’ll treat yours with the same love, patience, and care they deserve. I work a block away from my home. I wake up a few hours before I’m due so I can take care of everyone. I’m home every lunch break for walks and pets then back home about 3 hours after that. My cat always has full reign on the house and my dog has a private bedroom with crate for when I leave. A nice sized fenced in private back yard great makes for a good playtime or potty break.
