About: Hi! My name is Rae and I'm graduating from LIU Post in the Spring! I love cats and dogs and I can't wait to meet your best friend. My life has always been accompanied by pets; being a caretaker is a calling for me and my loved ones count on me to keep their precious cargo safe from fish to bunnies to cats and dogs. I have flexible availability currently as an artist and recent graduate of Long Island University. If notified beforehand I can make a wide array of times work. About: I’ve taken responsibility of my own pets in my family for 10 years. Dog sat for my aunt for two years. Grew up with a Border Collie and two Dobermans! Trained my families new edition corgi, chow chow, and kelpie Shepard mix who’s now 2 years of age. I work part time as a college student finishing up my second semester before summer break. I’d love to walk or check in on any furry friends before/after my lectures and final semester!! I provide a safe, calm, and clean environment, following each pet’s routine closely. About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my background in K9 training and management and my genuine passion for working with dogs of all ages and personalities. I’m currently studying at SUNY Cobleskill, so I bring both hands on experience and current training knowledge into my care. I’m especially comfortable with puppies, helping with basics like leash manners, crate training, and building good habits, and I’m also very patient with senior dogs, making sure they stay comfortable and safe. I pay close attention to each dog’s behavior and body language so I can adjust to their needs, whether they’re energetic, shy, or reactive. I’m not just there to watch your dog, I’m there to understand them, support them, and make sure they feel safe and cared for while you’re away. Pet care fits easily into my routine because I’m currently on summer break from SUNY Cobleskill where I study K9 Training and Management, so I have a lot of free time and flexibility in my schedule. This allows me to give pets plenty of attention throughout the day, including walks, playtime, feeding, and check-ins. Since working with dogs is something I’m passionate about and studying for, I enjoy making it part of my daily routine and making sure each pet gets the care, exercise, and attention they need while their owners are away. When caring for pets in your home, I focus on keeping their routine as normal and comfortable as possible. I follow your instructions closely for feeding, walks, medication if needed, and any specific care the pet requires. I also make sure they get plenty of attention, playtime, and exercise depending on their energy level and personality.

About: As w most people here i have a love for animals and am on track for a career in veterinary medicine. I have a dog of my own but also have a wide range of skills with many different animals (rodent, reptiles, various exotics, etc) due to my experience working in and completing a two year BOCES program for veterinary medicine assisting which included dogs and cats ofc. I currently volunteer at a shelter walking the dogs there so I'm equipped to handle dogs of many sizes and temperaments. I also have experience working w cats of various sizes and temperaments from a separate shelter. I'm very good w adjusting my technique and handling for different animals in order to safely and properly handle them in the ways they need/ feel comfortable. Im confident in my skills and always willing to learn/ experience new situations. sooo yea im here☺️ I currently have a part-time job, but it has very flexible hours and while I am a student, I usually take these jobs on during breaks or downtime so I have open availability. I do personally have a fenced backyard and a dog back home usually if I’m hosting another dog I do my best to keep their schedules consistent but separate as my dog is very selective. Usually, I will do pet sitting at the other dog’s house where I can completely make sure that they are comfortable in their environment and follow their routine as close as possible.
