She always double-checked details with me and repeatedly confirmed how my cats were doing, which made me feel completely at ease. She also kept me updated on everything — for example, if there was any food left, she would let me know right away so I could plan accordingly. My cats are normally very shy and nervous around strangers, but Victoria was so patient and gentle that they gradually warmed up to her. By the end, they actually became friends with her, and she was even able to pet them — which is rare for my cats! About: Certified vet assistant and experienced kennel worker. My first job with dogs was at a fun little daycamp/boarding place called Camp Bow-Wow. I gained a lot of experience in handling and training. The enviroment I worked in was often filled with dogs running around a huge play yard, and it was my job to keep the peace (making sure they don’t fight, hump, or eat poop). During my time there I attended vet assistance courses at Bosces and earned a certification. I worked at an animal hospital in Oyster Bay, then in Woodbury. I’ll soon be leaving my current job (sanitation) to come back into the pet care business, which I enjoy far more. My schedule will open up tremendously by the 20th, until then I am readily available for afternoons. Im also good with cats, as long as they’re friendly!

Daycare/Boarding Requirements: 1) Copy of Vaccination Certificate before dog can be allowed on premises *Required Vaccines: Rabies, DHPP & Bordetella* Recommended: Leptospirosis & Canine Influenza 2) Copy of last vet visit prior to the date of drop off 3) Must be spayed/neutered 4) Must have a history of no aggression towards humans or other animals 5) Must be able to be in an environment with other dogs 6) Must have a collar and a legible name tag 7) If your dog pees on pee pads, pads must be provided by you 8) Provide clearly labeled food with own cup/scoop indicating amount per meal 9) Anything brought (toys, bed, blankets, etc.) has a chance of being damaged by other dogs. Only bring items that you would not mind the possibility of them being damaged or destroyed 10) Must tell us of any dietary restrictions, as we frequently give dogs treats during their stay Pet care is my entire life. I do this full time, so I can ensure that I will be able to spend a ton of time with your animals. About: Always feel the warmth of dogs of my family & friends . Usually they run to me right away! Love to play games & take long walks with your dog. Since I’m not currently employed, I’m available full time & on short notice. It’s so important to keep a consistent routine with your pet so they feel comfortable. About: I absolutely adore animals and have taken care of many, all with different personalities and needs. I am accommodating and patient with all pets. I have taken care of older fragile dogs and active younger dogs. I volunteered at a cat shelter for a couple years as well, so I can understand their body language and care for them regardless. I’ve helped many shy animals socialize and they have warmed up to me. I am a college student with long gaps in my schedule, my college is local so I have plenty of time to stop by! Monday & Wednesday: 11 AM- 1:20 pm; anytime past 3:20 pm Tuesday: anytime before 11:50 AM; anytime past 4:40 pm Thursday: anytime before 11:50 AM; anytime past 6:30 pm Friday, Saturday, Sunday: anytime I will be able to change any water or food bowls, clean up potty mistakes. About: I have experience working with senior dogs with special needs as well as younger, higher energy dogs! Each pet has their own unique personality and care needs and I strive to meet each of those to make your pets time away from their family as seamless/normal as possible, with peace of mind for the owner. I’m currently working pet care full time and my availability is everyday! I’m very flexible with times or travel restrictions to make things easiest for the client! If life happens, I do my best to accommodate changes. I don’t offer services in my own home, but at a clients home I follow all of their given instructions! I prefer to do a meet up with the pet and client to establish familiarity with the pet. Clients typically show me around their home and notify me of any details related to their pet or care instructions for the home if needed. If the client allows, I will play with their pets, take them on walks, etc.

About: I’ve taken care of animals my whole life! When I was 10 I had a puppy and have volunteered at animal shelters throughout high school. I can assure you I will take great care of your animals with all the love in my heart. I’m currently working part time, so I have a lot of time this summer!
