“Diego has been doing a great job of taking care of my outdoor kitties for the past several months. My Kitties are a shy bunch, but Diego has been very patient and kind with them, thus helping me to travel without any worries. I would highly recommend Diego to take care of any one's pets while they are away on vacation or for daily visits. Thank again Diego for doing such a great job!”

“Michelle was absolutely incredible! She was so great with my Lil guy. She walked him twice a day in the pouring rain, took time to dry him off, feed him, and replace his water. She really went above and beyond. I have a giant dog who is very energetic and she handled it without a problem. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for responsible dog care. Can't say enough!!!”

About: Hey there! I'm Jeanna, and I'd love to be considered as your new reliable pet sitter. Not only did I grow up with various pets, but I've been the go-to pet sitter for my family and friends as well. My friends joke with me for having a "pet hotel" at my house - with a new four legged guest every so often. So I figured I'd give Rover a shot and pursue what I love to do. With over 20 years experience, you can count on me to give the best care for your pet and love them like my own. I'm a huge dog lover and pit bull advocate. I have experience taking care of dogs with seizures, dogs with mobility issues (degenerative myelopathy & blindness), and caring for multiple dogs in the same home. Age is just a number - I've been responsible for caring for puppies and elderly dogs as well. And I don't mind getting cuddles from small or large breeds either! If you like what you've read, I'd love to chat more about how I can provide the best care for your pet! My schedule can be pretty flexible for the most part. I work remotely and don't mind working out a timeline that works best for your pets. I've hosted pets at my house, but I'm currently not taking any at this time. I live in a very dog-friendly condo development, so it's great to meet new furry friends on walks, but we often host a non-friendly pup that we currently need to keep our home available to for last minute occasions. Please note: I'm allergic to cats & rabbits, so the most I can do right now for homes with those pets is drop-ins for feedings throughout the day (no overnights).
About: I’ve taken care of animals my whole life! When I was 10 I had a puppy and have volunteered at animal shelters throughout high school. I can assure you I will take great care of your animals with all the love in my heart. I’m currently working part time, so I have a lot of time this summer! Typically, I work Tuesdays from 11am-4pm and the evening/night of weekends. My availability varies depending on my weekly schedule. I’m definitely a fan of walks and playtime! I’ll make sure the clients house is clean before they return and that their pet has a blast!
About: Hi there! I have spent many years of my life taking care of animals personally and professionally. I have been volunteering in animal shelters for 7 years, I work with 3 animal organizations helping animals get adopted and fostered, fostering many of them myself. I have had dogs ranging from 5lbs to 75+ Lbs. I also have had numerous cats throughout my life and understand the many personality and needs they have. I have a very flexible schedule professionally and would love to spend more of my free time being around animals I have a very flexible work schedule in which I schedule for myself weekly, giving me a lot of extra time daily as well as the ability to schedule and adjust around bookings. I have fostered both dogs and cats through the years, and currently have one cat now. I keep my home very clean and give my fur baby the most attention and love I can. I truly believe pets are part of the family

I used Dillan yesterday for my 8 week old golden retriever puppy. I was very hestinant at first as an owner of two other dogs ages 11 & 4 I never used a sitter to help out with my dogs, however Dillan make the process so easy and help ease my nerves about having someone care for my dogs. He answered my messages on a timely manner and even shared pictures and a cute video of my pup Dunkin playing in the yard. I would highly recommend Dillan to care for your pets. He also followed the many rules and expectations that I’ve asked of him I Look forward to using him on a regular basis. Overall 10/10 service.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
