About: Hi! I’ve had dogs in my life since I was 10—mostly golden retrievers growing up, and now I have a 5-year-old corgi named Monty. I work from home Monday through Friday, so I’m always looking for an excuse to take a break from my desk and get outside. I’m available for dog walks, drop-in visits, play sessions, or staying in your home while you’re away to keep your pet company and give them a little vacation of their own. I also love cats and have fostered both dogs and cats in NYC over the last several years. Excited to meet your furry friend! I work from home Monday through Friday, so pets are woven into my entire day, not just squeezed in before and after. I'm available for overnight stays in your home and am equally comfortable with crate-trained dogs or pets who have free roam. I'll follow your lead on feeding schedules, exercise needs, favorite toys, and any house rules you have in place. Because I work from home, I can adapt my schedule on the fly. More walks on a rainy day when your pup is restless, a quieter afternoon for a senior dog who needs rest. I treat every pet like they're my own, and I'll send updates and photos so you always know they're happy and in good hands.

SAFETY: My clients’ safety, (both pets & people!), is my upmost priority. When going for walks, I will make sure your dog(s) is harnessed/leashed up extremely securely. Most of the time, I will attach their leash to BOTH their collar and their harness so if there is ever a product malfunction, they won’t ever get loose. I will walk your fur baby with my full attention and will not allow them to greet other dogs on their walk unless I am 100% sure that both dogs are friendly. I completely avoid any loose dogs that we might see on our walks to avoid confrontation. When letting your pets in the yard, I will always make sure that the gate(s) are securely closed before letting them out. If you have indoor cats, I will make sure they are safe inside of your home at ALL times. I will only feed your pets treats & food that you provide to avoid any allergic reactions. I triple check that all doors to your home are locked while I take your dog(s) out for a walk and after I leave. I am comfortable using any security systems you might have to ensure that your home is completely secure. If you confine your dog to a space for their safety while you are not home, (crate, room, playpen, etc.), I will also triple check that they are secured in that space before I leave. I will do everything in my power to make you & your pet(s) feel as comfortable as possible. Please communicate any safety concerns you might have with me. Your peace of mind is my top priority!

I grew up with dogs and got the opportunity to train them as well as give them all the love and attention they need! Although I don't have dog sitting experience outside of my friends and family, I have formed bonds which each of their furbabies. I've walked, fed, bathed, spent quality time, and trained many dogs as I grew up. I have taken care of different breeds, sizes, ages, and energy dogs and have given medication when needed as well. My goal is to always ensure furbabies stay comfortable, happy, healthy, and safe while under my care! Feel free to reach out with any questions or requests! I'm currently in school to become a medical assistant, but will have plenty of time to give your pups all the attention that they deserve! Before dog sitting, I would like to speak with the owners in regards to their pet's daily routine, dos and don'ts they may have, house rule, and any special or medical needs to ensure the best environment possible for yourself and your pets.
