We could see from the first interaction that she would be kind to our dog, as she immediately got down and gave her hand to the dog to sniff and then pet her. She has a daughter with a sweet and gentle personality, who kindly shared her own blanket with the dog to make the dog feel more comfortable. Yessenia‘s husband was friendly and pleasant as well. Yessenia sent us multiple pictures and updates over the weekend while she watched the dog. Though we brought some supplies, she was also prepared with her own if necessary. Furthermore, since Yesenia had already experienced life with a senior dog, she offered us some suggestions that might help with our pup. Our Rusty had never been cared for by a stranger up to this point. It was hard for us to leave her. That said, we would not only highly recommend Yessenia and her family to other dog owners, we will definitely reach out to Yessenia again if we need someone to board the dog. She spent a lot of time with us during our initial meet and greet. She answered all our questions and allowed our dogs to hang out in her backyard and just really reassured us that she will love them the same way we do. She communicated regularly while we were gone and sent pictures and videos. What I also appreciated is that she is flexible with drop off and pick up times. From our very first meet-and-greet, they took the time to get to know Rocky and make sure he would be a good fit for their family and their two beautiful dogs. Matt showed us their yard and explained where Rocky would be safe to run around and play. He gave us a full rundown of everything and patiently answered all of our questions, which immediately made us feel comfortable and confident leaving Rocky with them. We ended up booking a full week! Throughout Rocky’s stay, we received regular updates, pictures, videos, and text messages, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. It was so wonderful to see how happy and comfortable Rocky was. He got along great with their family dogs and even their super-cute daughter! You can truly tell that Matt & Kristina genuinely care about the dogs in their care and treat them like family. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Charlotte was absolutely amazing with our girl Lexi!! Not only did she make us feel so relieved and secure the entirety of our trip, but Lexi eventually opened up to her which is something so huge for her. We were very very anxious about trying a sitter again considering Lexi had a terrible experience with a past sitter, which has caused mistrust towards strangers. It took some time and warming up to do but eventually Lexi caved in! Charlotte sent so many pictures and updates throughout the day which we absolutely loved. She is very sweet, patient, understanding with Lexi’s situation, and just overall an awesome sitter. Lexi will definitely be coming back!!
Trevor and Sabrina did an absolutely amazing job with my dog, Clyde. I received photos, communication was seamless, and due to my travels being delayed was able to have my dog spend some extra time there with no hesitation.
