About: I've been surrounded by dogs/cats my whole life and currently have 2 dogs & 1 cat of my own. I volunteer for animal rescue groups and have always wanted to work in an animal related field. About: I absolutely Live for animals. Since I was small I knew working with animals was my passion. They bring me an extreme amount of joy and love and I promise to love and treasure your pup like it is my own. Many think of their dogs as "just dogs", I believe there is something deeper and far more special between a relationship with a person and their pet. My dogs are my family and I adore them. I have had dogs growing up my entire life, and when I was old enough to live on my own I started to rescue and foster senior and disabled dogs. I currently have a blind Pekingese who I rescued a day before euthanasia who is the love of my life, and a one eyed terrier who I rescued after being hit by car. I deny No pet, and usually I am the go to person when friends or family need a dog sitter if they are going out of town. I have worked with Both the ASPCA and Dogs without Borders in Hollywood, CA. If your pet stays with me it will be treated like my own, if I do stop in visits for walks they will enjoy time at the park and being outside. I have experience with deaf dogs, blind, and 3 legged dogs. Dogs who have been on 3x a day medicine, overly friendly dogs and the scared, timid dogs.

I am a senior living with my 5 senior cats. They are my family and their happiness is my happiness. Although I like to travel, I hesitate to ask my son and daughter-in-law to take care of them over and over again while I am out of town. I was planning to visit my other son and his family to see my grandkids in NC. I decided to give a try to drop-in care. After checking all the options, I decided on SARAH based on her background and reviews. What a choice I made; she was excellent, deserving more than 5 stars. First of all, she is an animal lover. My cats have a strong sense if a person likes them or not. They will either come to great that person or totally disappear. Looking at the pictures Sarah provided, they are all around her. Even on her shoulder, hugging. Yes, she sent me plenty of pictures every day, including before and after pictures of their plates, litter boxes, She let me know every detail about their wellbeing even sent me the pictures of throw ups, if she found one. When I was back, I found the house clean and in order. She even took all the garbage out with her. Well, I couldn’t ask anything more from her. I feel very comfortable leaving my cats with her again.
Katharine was awesome! She came to the rescue when our original plan fell through for someone to drop in and care for our dog while we were out of town for the day. Each drop-in, she was right on time, left thorough notes, and sent us photos. sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
