About: I’ve taken care of animals my whole life! When I was 10 I had a puppy and have volunteered at animal shelters throughout high school. About: I grew up in a house full of pets and have volunteered at various pet rescues. Now, 51 years later, through every chapter of my life, milestones, joys, and losses, there has always been a pet by my side. I can’t imagine a home without the sound of paws, the comfort of companionship, or the simple, grounding presence of an animal. I work full time from home and am happy to be flexible to any schedule. About: I started off babysitting my neighbors children and then over time they started trusting me with their pets too. I would drop by their houses while they were away and feed their dogs or cats and make sure they went to the bathroom and take them on walks. I’ve taken care of puppies, small dogs, medium dogs, and once a Great Dane. I also take care of cats! I work part time right now so I have plenty of time to watch your pups! I’m available for dog boarding weekdays and dog walking everyday. I have a fenced yard, two medium size dogs and one little dog for your pup to play with! “Sarah and her lovely family took care of our little Yorkie for five days while my husband and I were visiting in New York City. We were staying out on Long Island, and had event tickets each day in the city, so we needed flexible doggie day care hours to accommodate our needs. We felt so very blessed to find Sarah! She welcomed Violet into her home and treated her like family. She is very well equipped to care for any pets and has plenty of equipment and facilities thoughtfully laid out in her home and yard. About: I have a lot of knowledge on dogs, I know about their body language and what their peculiar movements and sounds can mean. I also always loved being around animals since I was a kid, I remember when I was young, my family always had a lot of dogs especially baby ones, and I always hung out with them and took care of them. I am a college freshman and my spring semester is coming to a close on May 12th, so I will be completely free and flexible for the most part until September again, so I will make sure to get as many regular clients and as much experience as possible during this time window I make sure the pets are always in my line of sight, because I know they can be very unpredictable at times. About: For the past several years, I have dedicated my life to professionally caring for animals of all kinds, including managing two pet care companies on Long Island and caring for the animals at the Long Island Science Museum. At our location, we offer luxury cage-free boarding, in a room that was built specifically for the enjoyment and safety of dogs. The dogs have a large living space, a turfed dog run and a giant outdoor dog house! We can guarantee it will be a one-of-a-kind experience for your dog! Daycare/Boarding Requirements: 1) Copy of Vaccination Certificate before dog can be allowed on premises *Required Vaccines: Rabies, DHPP & Bordetella* Recommended: Leptospirosis & Canine Influenza 2) Copy of last vet visit prior to the date of drop off 3) Must be spayed/neutered 4) Must have a history of no aggression towards humans or other animals 5) Must be able to be in an environment with other dogs 6) Must have a collar and a legible name tag 7) If your dog pees on pee pads, pads must be provided by you 8) Provide clearly labeled food with own cup/scoop indicating amount per meal 9) Anything brought (toys, bed, blankets, etc.) has a chance of being damaged by other dogs. Only bring items that you would not mind the possibility of them being damaged or destroyed 10) Must tell us of any dietary restrictions, as we frequently give dogs treats during their stay Pet care is my entire life. I do this full time, so I can ensure that I will be able to spend a ton of time with your animals. When caring for pets in your home or my own, I can ensure a safe environment and constant communication. I treat all animals like they are my own.
About: I grew up in a house full of pets and have volunteered at various pet rescues. Now, 51 years later, through every chapter of my life, milestones, joys, and losses, there has always been a pet by my side. I can’t imagine a home without the sound of paws, the comfort of companionship, or the simple, grounding presence of an animal. I work full time from home and am happy to be flexible to any schedule. This works particularly well for pets that are used to a routine. My pets include a Labrador Retriever named "Jax" who is 6 years old. Jax likes to run about in our fenced yard. I also have 3 cats named "Beau", "Shadow" and "Oliver" who remain indoor. All of my babies are rescues.
About: I’ve taken care of animals my whole life! When I was 10 I had a puppy and have volunteered at animal shelters throughout high school. I can assure you I will take great care of your animals with all the love in my heart. I’m currently working part time, so I have a lot of time this summer! Typically, I work Tuesdays from 11am-4pm and the evening/night of weekends. My availability varies depending on my weekly schedule. I’m definitely a fan of walks and playtime! I’ll make sure the clients house is clean before they return and that their pet has a blast!
About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my background in K9 training and management and my genuine passion for working with dogs of all ages and personalities. I’m currently studying at SUNY Cobleskill, so I bring both hands on experience and current training knowledge into my care. I’m especially comfortable with puppies, helping with basics like leash manners, crate training, and building good habits, and I’m also very patient with senior dogs, making sure they stay comfortable and safe. I pay close attention to each dog’s behavior and body language so I can adjust to their needs, whether they’re energetic, shy, or reactive. I’m not just there to watch your dog, I’m there to understand them, support them, and make sure they feel safe and cared for while you’re away. Pet care fits easily into my routine because I’m currently on summer break from SUNY Cobleskill where I study K9 Training and Management, so I have a lot of free time and flexibility in my schedule. This allows me to give pets plenty of attention throughout the day, including walks, playtime, feeding, and check-ins. Since working with dogs is something I’m passionate about and studying for, I enjoy making it part of my daily routine and making sure each pet gets the care, exercise, and attention they need while their owners are away. When caring for pets in your home, I focus on keeping their routine as normal and comfortable as possible. I follow your instructions closely for feeding, walks, medication if needed, and any specific care the pet requires. I also make sure they get plenty of attention, playtime, and exercise depending on their energy level and personality.
About: I have watched pups from 6mos-13yrs, from shitzus to cane corsos. I have a Aussie pup of my own, and he LOVES to play. If hades and I aren’t home cuddled up on the couch, we’re at the park or at work. I look forward to making memories with our pups ! I am AD military, and I work from home most days. When I do go into work, I bring my pup, my base is super pet friendly, and we have set play times outside. Aside from the early part of the day, I spend my afternoons at a parks ( usually a new one every week ) I have a home with a yard, and a 4ft tall gate. In every room I have a dog bed, and dog toys scattered. My home will be your dogs home away from home, but with a new friend.
About: Dogs have been apart of my life for as long as I can remember. I worked as a dog walker while I was in college and I loved it! I gained valuable experience walking and caring for all types and sizes of dogs. I have experience caring for cats, birds, hamsters, and chickens as well from this. I have a 10 year old pitbull named Tinkerbell a 3 year old pitbull named Peter and a 1 year old American bully named nuke. They are my best friends. I am my family and friends go to whenever they need someone to care for their pups while they are away from home as I love all pets as if they are my own. One of my favorite sayings is, “Saving one dog may not change the world but for that one dog their world will be changed forever.” I currently run my own online store. This leaves me with a very flexible schedule giving me plenty of time to spend with your pup! I am available every day from morning to afternoon. I have experience with both pets who are very excited to see me and pets who are shy. When meeting a pet for the first time I carefully take the time to get to know their personality so that they may have the most enjoyable experience with me.
About: Dogs, cats and helping people all make me happy. I’ve lived with at least one dog since I was 4 years old after adopting our first family dog from the north shore animal league. I’ve had 3 years of fostering experience for the queens ASPCA where my aunt volunteered. I rehabbed overweight dogs and sick dogs into shape and health to be adopted to their forever homes. We had 2 foster failures our bond was so strong we had to keep. I currently have 3 dogs and one cat all rescues. I always form an immediate bond with any pet I meet and promise to take care of your pet like they are my own. I understand the hesitation in trusting others with your pets and proudly guarantee the best care possible. I am gladly available weekdays both mornings and afternoons as well as anytime needed on the weekends and/or holidays. I do work a full time job second shift 3pm -11pm Monday through Friday excluding holidays. I work in Hicksville for the school district doing security. I’ve found and saved several lost dogs and wild animals throughout the neighborhood over the past 9 plus years. Easily my favorite part of the job. I love to serve the community by helping others. I care as much about stray or random animals as I do my own pets. Seeing a dog or cat in public is easily the highlight of my day. I like to get down and meet dogs at their level to gain their trust and show I am not s threat. I am a good listener and will follow all orders given to take care of someone’s pet and do whatever is best for any animal in my care.

She deals with significant anxiety and back-leg pain, so I was nervous about leaving her in a new space with a stranger, but I had nothing to worry about. She settled in quickly and even felt comfortable enough to trick Gerald into getting off the couch so she could steal his spot. Although she’s usually reluctant to be active, she went on several walks with him. Gerald was also great about sending regular photos and updates, and very flexible when I ran late for pickup. Highly recommended for anyone with a senior or high-needs dog.”
