Our Rusty had never been cared for by a stranger up to this point. It was hard for us to leave her. “Like most people, I was very nervous about leaving my dogs with someone while I was away. However, from the moment I met Alissa I knew my two babies would be okay. She spent a lot of time with us during our initial meet and greet. She answered all our questions and allowed our dogs to hang out in her backyard and just really reassured us that she will love them the same way we do. She communicated regularly while we were gone and sent pictures and videos. What I also appreciated is that she is flexible with drop off and pick up times. So instead of our dogs staying another night, we were able to pick them up on our way home from our trip. I would definitely recommend her to my friends and family.”

We would walk her once a day and play with her outside for a chunk of time. As for my cats, we would feed them wet food morning and night and some dry food mid-day. Litter box cleaning would occur a couple of times a week and playtime, was basically all the time!
About: I have cared for the furry friends of my family members, friends, and neighbors. Since I was very young, I had always had a passion and love for animals. I grew up with Rottweiler's in my home that were my best friends. In 2020, I adopted my first kitten that was orphaned by her mom at just 4 weeks old, from an overcrowded shelter. Since then, I have began pet sitting my neighbors 7 cats, as well as raise (2) new Rottweiler puppies, and take care of elderly pets who take medications na have medical issues. I work from home with a very flexible schedule that can be adapted to most schedules and needs. I love to walk and would be happy to go on very long walks with all pups! My cat is an indoor only cat for her health and safety. I have pet insurance for her and keep her the perfect weight to keep her healthy! I care very much about animals health and well being!
About: I’ve taken care of dogs and have had three in the family for years. Have a big heart for them and will make sure your fur babies are taken care of and happy! I’m currently working as a server part time and school part time. I can come by during the day or lunch times to make sure your dogs are walked or fed and have a little play time throughout their day I can always make sure your dogs are safe and anything that needs to be looked over in your homes are protected. I’ll make sure your companions are comfortable and left in either crates, behind room dividers, with their toys etc.

I work from home most days, so pet care naturally fits into my daily routine. I’m only away from home for about six hours on two days each week. Outside of work, I spend much of my time with my animals, gardening, and enjoying our little homestead—especially when the weather is nice! I have a fully fenced yard plus a separate secured area for my chickens. My own dogs, cats, and chickens live here, but visiting pets are always supervised and safely separated when needed.

“Gerald did a great job with my senior foster, Pam. She deals with significant anxiety and back-leg pain, so I was nervous about leaving her in a new space with a stranger, but I had nothing to worry about. She settled in quickly and even felt comfortable enough to trick Gerald into getting off the couch so she could steal his spot. Although she’s usually reluctant to be active, she went on several walks with him. Gerald was also great about sending regular photos and updates, and very flexible when I ran late for pickup. Highly recommended for anyone with a senior or high-needs dog.”

About: I grew up in a house full of pets and have volunteered at various pet rescues. Now, 51 years later, through every chapter of my life, milestones, joys, and losses, there has always been a pet by my side. I can’t imagine a home without the sound of paws, the comfort of companionship, or the simple, grounding presence of an animal. I work full time from home and am happy to be flexible to any schedule. This works particularly well for pets that are used to a routine. My pets include a Labrador Retriever named "Jax" who is 6 years old. Jax likes to run about in our fenced yard.
