“Paulina was amazing! She was able to accommodate for a last minute request and she did such a great job! I would recommend her 100%, definitely going to be booking again!”

About: I’ve taken care of my calico cutie for almost 10 years, as well as having dogs durring my childhood. Also, I’ve dog sat for a family friend for nearly 4 years. Currently I am working part-time as a barista a few days a week, my availability reflects the days i am off, or what time before/after work i am available so there shouldn’t ever be any time issues! I will treat your animal as my own, but I understand that I’m coming into your space and their space. I will be very courteous of my surroundings & work efficiently with you to create a positive experience.

About: I have had dogs and cats my whole life. I alap have several years experience with reptiles and birds. Over the years, I’ve watched pets overnight at their homes and taken them for walks. I'm a teacher on summer vacation. My cats have someone else to take care of them at home, so I have the ability to work around you and your pets' schedules. I respect the rules laid out by the pet owner. You know best about your pet's needs. I ensure food, bathroom, and all other schedules are followed because consistency is just as important for our pets as it is for us.
“Alex did such a wonderful job taking care of my cat!! He went above and beyond with pictures, checking in with me, and following all the directions. I can tell he truly cares for animals and is incredibly responsible. Would recommend to anyone.”

“Jennifer did such a great job taking care of my cat, Linguini. It was a last minute booking and Jennifer was so communicative and accommodating to my Linguini’s needs. I would definitely recommend her to those who need a sitter! And I definitely would book again!”

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my background in K9 training and management and my genuine passion for working with dogs of all ages and personalities. I’m currently studying at SUNY Cobleskill, so I bring both hands on experience and current training knowledge into my care. I’m especially comfortable with puppies, helping with basics like leash manners, crate training, and building good habits, and I’m also very patient with senior dogs, making sure they stay comfortable and safe. I pay close attention to each dog’s behavior and body language so I can adjust to their needs, whether they’re energetic, shy, or reactive. I’m not just there to watch your dog, I’m there to understand them, support them, and make sure they feel safe and cared for while you’re away. Pet care fits easily into my routine because I’m currently on summer break from SUNY Cobleskill where I study K9 Training and Management, so I have a lot of free time and flexibility in my schedule. This allows me to give pets plenty of attention throughout the day, including walks, playtime, feeding, and check-ins. Since working with dogs is something I’m passionate about and studying for, I enjoy making it part of my daily routine and making sure each pet gets the care, exercise, and attention they need while their owners are away. When caring for pets in your home, I focus on keeping their routine as normal and comfortable as possible. I follow your instructions closely for feeding, walks, medication if needed, and any specific care the pet requires. I also make sure they get plenty of attention, playtime, and exercise depending on their energy level and personality.
“This is the second time that Nancy watched our cats while we were on vacation, and it is so good to know that your cats are well taken care of so that you can go on vacation worry-free! I love the daily texts and pictures of our cats as it really gives me peace of mind that everything is okay. I would not hesitate to have her watch our cats for any future trips!!”

“Nadine is the best! This is our second time having her look after our two senior dachshunds (come January, they’ll be 15 and 17) and our 22 year old conure. All three were remembered her from her previous stint caring for them, and they were thrilled to see Nadine again. In addition to normal duties, Nadine went above and beyond by cleaning up and replacing pee pads used by my old man and by lifting him up and down the back stoop every time he went out. I will absolutely use Nadine again.”

About: I’ve worked with pets of all ages, sizes, and energy levels—from playful puppies to slow-paced seniors. Since I am on summer break, my schedule is completely wide open for boarding, housesitting, or check-ins and drop-ins to let your pup out. About: Hey there! I'm Jeanna, and I'd love to be considered as your new reliable pet sitter. Not only did I grow up with various pets, but I've been the go-to pet sitter for my family and friends as well. My friends joke with me for having a "pet hotel" at my house - with a new four legged guest every so often. So I figured I'd give Rover a shot and pursue what I love to do. With over 20 years experience, you can count on me to give the best care for your pet and love them like my own. I'm a huge dog lover and pit bull advocate. I have experience taking care of dogs with seizures, dogs with mobility issues (degenerative myelopathy & blindness), and caring for multiple dogs in the same home. Age is just a number - I've been responsible for caring for puppies and elderly dogs as well. And I don't mind getting cuddles from small or large breeds either! If you like what you've read, I'd love to chat more about how I can provide the best care for your pet! My schedule can be pretty flexible for the most part. I work remotely and don't mind working out a timeline that works best for your pets. I've hosted pets at my house, but I'm currently not taking any at this time. I live in a very dog-friendly condo development, so it's great to meet new furry friends on walks, but we often host a non-friendly pup that we currently need to keep our home available to for last minute occasions. Please note: I'm allergic to cats & rabbits, so the most I can do right now for homes with those pets is drop-ins for feedings throughout the day (no overnights).
About: Hi there! I’m Sofía, a 22-year-old college senior with over 12 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages and breeds. I’m currently studying a holistic approach to health and preparing to begin acupuncture school. My passion for wellness and compassion extends beyond people—animals have always been a huge part of my life. I’ve grown up with dogs, worked at kennels, and understand just how important it is to find someone you can truly trust with your furry family member. What sets me apart? I approach pet care with love, patience, and respect. I have experience caring for senior dogs, managing medications, and supporting pets with anxiety or special needs. I also enjoy helping with puppy routines—house training, leash training, and socialization. Whether your pup needs active playtime, gentle companionship, or just someone who “gets it,” I’ve got you covered. I know how nerve-wracking it can be to leave your pet in someone else’s care. When I’m with your pet, my goal is to make sure they feel safe, loved, and right at home. Looking forward to meeting you and your fur baby! I’m currently available all summer for pet sitting, including weekdays and weekends! Whether you need daily visits, overnight care, or extended stays, I have a flexible schedule and can accommodate your pet’s needs. I have a gated backyard with space to run and have two friendly beagles that love to play. If it’s nice out I like to take them on walks and to the park which they can all play
About: I have cared for the furry friends of my family members, friends, and neighbors. Since I was very young, I had always had a passion and love for animals. I grew up with Rottweiler's in my home that were my best friends. In 2020, I adopted my first kitten that was orphaned by her mom at just 4 weeks old, from an overcrowded shelter. Since then, I have began pet sitting my neighbors 7 cats, as well as raise (2) new Rottweiler puppies, and take care of elderly pets who take medications na have medical issues. I work from home with a very flexible schedule that can be adapted to most schedules and needs. I love to walk and would be happy to go on very long walks with all pups! My cat is an indoor only cat for her health and safety. I have pet insurance for her and keep her the perfect weight to keep her healthy! I care very much about animals health and well being!
About: A deeply passionate pet sitter-with lots of hands-on medical experience working in a hospital setting for humans, and a lifelong love for animals of all kinds (just no cat boarding, please-I'm allergic!). My daughter and I currently share our home with a bearded dragon and an axolotl, and throughout the years we've lovingly cared for dogs, birds, turtles, tortoises, geckos, and even a friend's water dragon. We've maintained aquariums with blue lobster crayfish, shrimp, and a wide variety of freshwater fish, and I was raised around saltwater tanks thanks to my father's passion for marine life. Together, we've hand-fed cherry red tortoises, cared for koi ponds, and welcome baby birds each season to the seven birdhouses in our backyard-it truly feels like living in an atrium. My daughter competes in horseback riding and has hands-on experience with goats, chickens, llamas, pigs, and even zonkeys. We've hand-fed kangaroos and giraffes, pet penguins, cuddled bunnies and guinea pigs, ridden camels, and even fed alligators. We're fully comfortable with live feeding for reptiles and amphibians-crickets, worms, and more. Dogs are our biggest joy! We offer backyard agility play, trick training, beach days, boat rides, paddle boarding, park play and runs (my daughter is a competitive track athlete). We love dressing pets for fun occasions (always safe and functional), providing custom feeding routines, and yes-even holding special chew treats to make your pup feel spoiled and secure. We're also experienced anglers, and my daughter has worked as a mate on various fishing boats, giving us even more hands-on animal care and outdoor experience. While I can't host cats due to allergies, I'm happy to provide walks or drop-in visits for dogs even in homes with cats. And if you have animals that are a little outside the box-just ask! We have a true passion for wildlife and Iove exploring new animal care opportunities. Hi there! I currently work per diem, so my schedule is very flexible and I’m available most days and weekends. I also offer holidays and last minute get away watching if you are you are ever in a pinch! I offer a safe, calm environment with a fully fenced-in yard and no other dogs—so no scruffles or stress! I also have a large vehicle that can easily transport supplies or pets if needed. Whether it’s a day visit or overnight care in my home, your pets will be in good hands. Feel free to reach out with any questions or to schedule a meet-and-greet!

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Lindenhurst
Olha has been a huge life saver. Our dog has anxiety and is fearful of new people. Olha came 3x to make sure Abbie was comfortable before we went on a vacation . We even see her waving good bye. I can’t not say how truly appreciative we are for her. Anyone that needs a dog walker or sitter please idk olha!

I used Dillan yesterday for my 8 week old golden retriever puppy. I was very hestinant at first as an owner of two other dogs ages 11 & 4 I never used a sitter to help out with my dogs, however Dillan make the process so easy and help ease my nerves about having someone care for my dogs. He answered my messages on a timely manner and even shared pictures and a cute video of my pup Dunkin playing in the yard. I would highly recommend Dillan to care for your pets. He also followed the many rules and expectations that I’ve asked of him I Look forward to using him on a regular basis. Overall 10/10 service.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
