About: I've taken care of dogs and cats of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments for over 5 years and it's been one of the most fun jobs I've ever had! It's so rewarding knowing that I can provide a safe, caring, and loving environment for an animal while its owners are away. I am very communicative, detail-oriented, and I take the work seriously while also providing a fun environment for both myself and the pet. I look forward to meeting you and your fur babies! I currently work as an actor and a freelance writer, so my schedule is pretty flexible. My writing work is remote and can be done from anywhere, and the acting work of course only comes when I book a role which I would know about in advance. I am available most days, nights, and weekends! I unfortunately cannot have dogs in my apartment, but I'm happy to overnight sit in a pet owner's home as I have done it numerous times over the years. I always make sure that doors leading outside are kept closed and locked and will make sure to walk into the house/apartment carefully so that no one gets out. I also make sure that leashes and harnesses are put on properly and comfortably before heading out for a walk. I can crate animals if needed and I never leave any food or other items out that could potentially be consumed by the pet. Your pet will always be safe with me!

About: Growing up, family and friends would often trust me with the responsibility of caring for their pets whenever they needed someone. I’ve always had pets of my own as well, usually a cat and a dog or two. My family had Whippets and a Doberman, and throughout my life I’ve also kept fish and the occasional reptile. Animals have always been a big part of my life, and I truly enjoy both the companionship they bring and learning about what makes each pet unique. If you trust me with your pet, I can promise they’ll be cared for and loved as if they were my own. I know how much our pets mean to us, and I’ll treat yours with the same love, patience, and care they deserve. I work a block away from my home. I wake up a few hours before I’m due so I can take care of everyone. I’m home every lunch break for walks and pets then back home about 3 hours after that. My cat always has full reign on the house and my dog has a private bedroom with crate for when I leave. A nice sized fenced in private back yard great makes for a good playtime or potty break.

About: Hi I’m Jess! I have been an animal lover my whole life and saw Rover as a wonderful opportunity to meet some cute little friends and help make some extra money to help me out. Pets have always had a special place in my heart and I would love to meet some of yours! I have had many animals throughout my life from various types of fish, bearded dragon, hamsters, guinea pigs, a small dog (shitzu- Maltese who just passed away last year at 16 years old), a bird Connie (sun conure - 10 years old) and 2 cats Jack and Jill (13 years old). Many friends and family have trusted me to care for and love their pets when they need a little extra help. I am a very reliable and loving pet sitter with a pretty open schedule. I am currently working remotely so if you have reliable wifi I can work from your house while caring for your animals. I live in Babylon, but am open to helping out on most of the island if it’s a good fit. I am willing to travel to the city for longer/over night stays as well. Whether you need me for daily dog walks/ feedings, or want to take a nice vacation but need your animals and house looked after - I am your girl. About: Certified vet assistant and experienced kennel worker. My first job with dogs was at a fun little daycamp/boarding place called Camp Bow-Wow. I gained a lot of experience in handling and training. The enviroment I worked in was often filled with dogs running around a huge play yard, and it was my job to keep the peace (making sure they don’t fight, hump, or eat poop). During my time there I attended vet assistance courses at Bosces and earned a certification. I worked at an animal hospital in Oyster Bay, then in Woodbury. I’ll soon be leaving my current job (sanitation) to come back into the pet care business, which I enjoy far more. My schedule will open up tremendously by the 20th, until then I am readily available for afternoons. Im also good with cats, as long as they’re friendly!

Making sure they go to the bathroom, hanging out with them inside, taking them for a walk, etc. overall, I like to make sure the pet(s) are getting attention and being entertained.
