About: I've spent a lot of my adult years with dogs around and have been trusted many times by family. I've had my husky, Togo, spend the week with me multiple times while my dad has been on vacation or just because I wanted to spend time with him while I was up at school in my DPT program or in undergrad. I also have some experience working in an animal hospital! I'm currently not working, so I'll have plenty of time to care for your beautiful pets! I would be available weekdays and weekends. I can easily adapt to schedules and needs of your pets to make it the best experience possible for them! I like to set expectations prior so there isn't any miscommunication and always having an open line of communication throughout. I will always send pictures and updates of your pets too.

About: I enjoy cats and dogs as I have had my own, currently pet sit for my roommates cats while she’s on vacation. Cuddle puddles are my favorite pastime Evenings and weekends are preferred, can be flexible. I can do drop ins anytime past 6pm on the weekdays and anytime on the weekends. Emergency calls can also be arranged. I care for pets by slowly introducing myself, first by smell then when comfortable, by touch. I give treats when warranted, but ensure no over feeding/snacking. Lastly I cuddle with pets who are most comfortable.

My fiance Eric has also always grown up with dogs and was responsible for taking care of dogs and his cat while growing up and they all lived will into their senior years. I work full time where I commute Monday-Friday. Weekends I’m home. My Fiancé also works full time but he gets out a little earlier than I do. For weekend stays we are available to give your furry family the most attention and care. If there is need during the week I’m usually away from home for 10 hours during the day including my commute time to and from work. We will walk and feed them before we leave in the morning and as soon as either of us gets home will do the same and then again before bedtime. In our home, pets are cared for in a calm, safe environment. We live on the second floor of a house in a suburban neighborhood with sidewalks, which allows for safe, structured walks. While we don’t have direct yard access, we make sure dogs get regular walks, exercise, and attention. I also have a senior cat who is naturally shy and takes time to warm up, so I’m very understanding of pets who may be anxious or need a slower, more gentle approach. In a client’s home, I focus on maintaining your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible whether that’s feeding schedules, walks, playtime, or quiet time. I’m attentive to their behavior and needs, and I always aim to make them feel comfortable and secure while you’re away.

About: I’ve taken responsibility of my own pets in my family for 10 years. Dog sat for my aunt for two years. Grew up with a Border Collie and two Dobermans! Trained my families new edition corgi, chow chow, and kelpie Shepard mix who’s now 2 years of age. I work part time as a college student finishing up my second semester before summer break. I’d love to walk or check in on any furry friends before/after my lectures and final semester!! I provide a safe, calm, and clean environment, following each pet’s routine closely. About: I've had dogs my whole life, so caring for them comes as naturally to me as anything. When I got my puppy four years ago, I dedicated myself fully to his training and development, spending every day with him through those early months to make sure he grew into the happy, well-behaved dog he is today. I also have experience with the more challenging side of pet care. My older dog had diabetes, and I spent a great deal of time managing his condition, administering medication daily, and making sure his final years were as comfortable and loving as possible. It taught me a lot about patience, attentiveness, and caring for pets with special medical needs. Beyond my own dogs, I've spent years babysitting, walking, and watching dogs for friends and neighbors. Animals have always been drawn to me, as I have a natural calm with them that puts even shy or anxious pets at ease. While I'm new to Rover, I bring a lifetime of hands-on experience. I recently graduated from college and will be starting my Master of Social Work program at NYU in September. I'm currently based in Plainview, Long Island, where I'm free and flexible for any and all pet care needs throughout the summer. Come September, I'll be living in New York City, where I'll be available for drop-in visits and walks during the week, and open to extended stays on weekends. I have experience both crating and not crating dogs, so I'm happy to follow whatever routine works best for your pup. If needed, I can crate them safely when stepping out, or leave them with a frozen treat and a favorite toy to keep them calm and comfortable, especially if they experience separation anxiety, as my own dog does! I tailor every visit to the individual dog. Whether your pup needs a long, energetic walk or a short and easy stroll, I'll follow their lead. I'm always attentive on walks, making sure they don't pick up anything harmful off the street, and equally watchful in the home to keep them safe and out of trouble. Most importantly, your dog will never be short on love. I'll give them all the pets, cuddles, and attention they could ever want because I truly love animals!!

About: I have worked with dogs since I was in middle school. I currently am in the process of getting my dog grooming license and work at an animal shelter at the moment. I have experience with large dogs to small dogs, scared and nervous dogs, Mouthy and jumpy dogs, walking strong pulling dogs, administering medication and Grooming! I am just looking to fill my free time doing something I love and passionate about! I’m currently working part-time at an animal shelter and I just received my dog grooming license. I am flexible with my schedule and only work 3 days a week. I would follow all of the instructions the owner has left. Provide your dog with enrichment, treats and walks. If your puppy is scared or anxious I will sit with them, spending the time trying to gain their trust so it’s a positive experience for both parties involved!

My son is in activities throughout the week but they don’t take up too much time. I would only be gone for about 2 hours a day MAX! I have a 6 foot fenced in yard with a large leveled patio and grass for your furbaby to enjoy sunbathing, playing in the snow, running and playing. I currently have a 1.5 year old female puppy named Roxy! She is an ANGEL!! She gets along with every dog. She is about 35 pounds, fully grown. I also have a 2.5 year old son who calls Roxy his “sissy”. He, like his mother is a huge animal (of all kinds) lover. I do have a small crate and an extra large crate from my previous dogs. The small crate can hold up to about a 20 pound dog where the large crate can hold up to about a 100 pound dog. I am willing to discuss whatever it is that your fur baby needs because I know they are all different and require different things!

About: Dog walking is something I love to do. I take my dog (a boisterous standard schnauzer with quite the mind of his own!) on a walk everyday and love to help others out by giving their pup some exercise! I know that all dogs are unique, so I will take great care to make sure that I follow any instructions given and make this a great experience for the dog. I am good at reading a dog’s body language and know techniques to help calm a dog down if it gets overstimulated and will take necessary steps to ensure the dog’s comfort. I also know my way around the neighborhood, and can take the pup to new and exciting places (within the owners comfort level of course!) so they have a great time! As a recent college graduate, I have a very flexible schedule with ample time to dedicate to taking care of pets. I usually do morning and evening walks (as to avoid too high temperatures) and throughout the day can provide general pet care. I have a large, fenced in yard that pups can run freely in with my own dog. There is also a pool that they can use (under strict supervision of course!) and they have free access to all areas inside the house. We are also conscientious about making sure there are no dangerous things lying around (eg. socks, small items) that the dog can get to.
