“Yessenia was absolutely lovely to work with. She answered any questions we had as first time Rover customers in order to put us at ease. We could see from the first interaction that she would be kind to our dog, as she immediately got down and gave her hand to the dog to sniff and then pet her. She has a daughter with a sweet and gentle personality, who kindly shared her own blanket with the dog to make the dog feel more comfortable. Yessenia‘s husband was friendly and pleasant as well. Yessenia sent us multiple pictures and updates over the weekend while she watched the dog. Though we brought some supplies, she was also prepared with her own if necessary. Furthermore, since Yesenia had already experienced life with a senior dog, she offered us some suggestions that might help with our pup. Our Rusty had never been cared for by a stranger up to this point. It was hard for us to leave her. That said, we would not only highly recommend Yessenia and her family to other dog owners, we will definitely reach out to Yessenia again if we need someone to board the dog. She even included a lovely note about the experience. Her thoughts were genuine, and it was nice for us to be reminded about the beauty of our dog whom we see every day.”

About: Hello! I am a young active working professional. I work from home during the week and am home weekends. I love my Siberian Husky, Pi, and my shorthair Border Collie, Jinx. We like to play catch and go to the dog parks together. Both of my dogs are up to date on vaccines. They love medium to big dogs and not as good with small dogs. Pi loves to cuddle and Jinx can play all day! They are really friendly and sweet. We have pillows and couches laying around and a fenced yard with lots of fetching balls that they can play in. Our house is spacious and we have people home around most of the day. We would love to host other dogs for companionship. I'm working full time from home and control my own working schedule so I will have plenty of time to play with your dog! My two dogs and I typically go outside and play three times during the day. I have a big fenced yard for my dogs (and yours!) with a garden where they can roam around. I also have a little doggie pool in the summer. Our two dogs really like to play outside! We have a small kid who loves dogs and so are looking to host dogs that are friendly with kids.

We were staying out on Long Island, and had event tickets each day in the city, so we needed flexible doggie day care hours to accommodate our needs. We felt so very blessed to find Sarah! She welcomed Violet into her home and treated her like family. She is very well equipped to care for any pets and has plenty of equipment and facilities thoughtfully laid out in her home and yard. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, or just some extra attention and care, I’m committed to making sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. I live in Massapequa and am available for dog walking and pet care services Monday through Thursday up until the first week of September. I’m currently working part time so I have free time to walk, watch, and play with your fur babies! I will watch your dogs at your house and walk them around your neighborhood. I will care for your pets in your own home and/ or walk them around your neighborhood. I am very caring and will keep your pets company and get their energy out by playing with them as needed. I am prepared to crate them as needed and encourage good behavior.

About: I have been a Rover sitter for over 3 years now. I have great experience with walking larger, stronger breeds, and am open to house sitting just about any animal. I have been a sitter for cats, dogs, and even lizards. I have a flexible schedule with my schooling being online, and I am good with just about any activity level! From couch potato to energetic pets. I am free for a few visits/walks almost every day of the week. Weekends are better to be communicated with me in advance, but likely free as well. If I have some time in advance, I am always happy to dog/cat sit at your house. I have a very strong/energetic pitbull/dogo mix. He must be stimulated very often, so I go on 2-3 miles walks with him twice daily. My cat is a couch potato himself, and I spend my down time in the home hanging out with him, playing, and watching tv together.
About: I had a German shepherd for 11 years who always got treated like royalty; from her cozy bedding for her afternoon naps, to her healthy-quality treats, and even me changing up the route of her walk so she doesn't get bored, are a few things I do for her that keeps her energy and mood up. I have a huge heart and just genuinely care about living things because they have feelings too. Generally, I am a pretty reliable person; I don't have children and Rover Pet Care seems like the perfect position to supplement my schedule with emotional rewards. While caring for pets, I always keep an eye on them at all times (they can get into things that they aren't supposed to sometimes), when walking my dog, I never let her be in control and is trained to walk by my side with obedience. Treats should be given sparingly and after they have listened to a command. Lastly, discipline is important, especially at puppy stages in order for them to know what is right and wrong.
