We could see from the first interaction that she would be kind to our dog, as she immediately got down and gave her hand to the dog to sniff and then pet her. She has a daughter with a sweet and gentle personality, who kindly shared her own blanket with the dog to make the dog feel more comfortable. Yessenia‘s husband was friendly and pleasant as well. Yessenia sent us multiple pictures and updates over the weekend while she watched the dog. Though we brought some supplies, she was also prepared with her own if necessary. Furthermore, since Yesenia had already experienced life with a senior dog, she offered us some suggestions that might help with our pup. Our Rusty had never been cared for by a stranger up to this point. It was hard for us to leave her. That said, we would not only highly recommend Yessenia and her family to other dog owners, we will definitely reach out to Yessenia again if we need someone to board the dog. She even included a lovely note about the experience. Her thoughts were genuine, and it was nice for us to be reminded about the beauty of our dog whom we see every day.”

About: Hello! I am a young active working professional. I work from home during the week and am home weekends. I love my Siberian Husky, Pi, and my shorthair Border Collie, Jinx. We like to play catch and go to the dog parks together. Both of my dogs are up to date on vaccines. They love medium to big dogs and not as good with small dogs. Pi loves to cuddle and Jinx can play all day! They are really friendly and sweet. We have pillows and couches laying around and a fenced yard with lots of fetching balls that they can play in. Our house is spacious and we have people home around most of the day. We would love to host other dogs for companionship. I'm working full time from home and control my own working schedule so I will have plenty of time to play with your dog! My two dogs and I typically go outside and play three times during the day. I have a big fenced yard for my dogs (and yours!) with a garden where they can roam around. I also have a little doggie pool in the summer. Our two dogs really like to play outside! We have a small kid who loves dogs and so are looking to host dogs that are friendly with kids.

The small crate can hold up to about a 20 pound dog where the large crate can hold up to about a 100 pound dog. About: For quite a few years I’ve taken care of dogs for family members, families all over Long Island and never disappointed! I’ve loved dogs all my life and still do. They’re honestly like family to me and I always treat my family with care, respect and love which is what a dog needs. Other than that, I am very free! Other than that, they will be taken great care of by me. In my home I have a huge clean yard that runs through the back, side and front it is fenced so the dogs could run freely around for daily exercise. I also love to walk so if your dog also loves to, we will definitely be a great match! I have two dogs of my own that’ll keep your lovely dog(s) company. They are very playful and welcoming, one is 6 years old and the other one is 5 years old, with all their shots and up to date with all doctor appointments. This is a smoke free house also. About: I have been living with a dog (at one time with 3) since 2010. We recently said goodbye to our lab/retriever mix and are not quite yet ready to adopt a dog again but we miss having a dog around. As a pet parent I understand how stressful it can be finding reliable care and finding someone who will love your dog as much you do. It can also be tough when you find out you have to work late and will need someone to come to your rescue to let your baby out and feed them. When I’m not walking dogs, I’m taking care of my human children (who also love dogs) which means I have a somewhat flexible schedule, and I spend a lot of time outdoors. We have always found lots of fun outdoor bonding opportunities everywhere we have lived with our dog. We both love being outside and being active and I would love to share this hobby with your dog too! I am a full time mom to two school aged children. We’re very big on walks, dog parks, fetch (our sweet pup was inexhaustible and could play fetch for hours), and my kids practically live in our yard so I’m outdoors a lot when I’m home. When caring for a pet in a client’s home, I follow the care instructions given by the pet parent.

With my current work schedule, I can offer early mornings or evening/night visits during the week and anytime during the weekend! I do not offer services on holidays. Your dog’s happiness is my top priority & I value the importance of maintaining a safe & comfortable environment for them. I am always extremely careful & respectful while in your home, and will follow any preferences you have in place, to ensure consistency, safety & comfort.
About: I have a degree in veterinary science and I’m currently on the road to attend veterinary school! I have lots of knowledge on pet behavior and how to properly care for them. I’ve worked as a veterinary technician for the past few years. I’ve worked in general practice, emergency animal hospitals, and even a pet hotel. I’ve cared for hundreds of patients, provided preventative care, treatments, medications, cleaned their kennels, walked dogs, and played with them. I also helped my senior dog turn around her health around by helping her lose 8 lbs! I’ve been working with animals for the past few years, I truly love what I do. I’m a veterinary technician so I’m no stranger to daily pet care for cats & dogs. In my home, I take care of both of my cats. I feed them, clean their litter boxes, clip their nails, and clean their ears.

“Jennifer was excellent from start to finish. Her replies were quick and friendly and she was flexible with pick-up and drop-off. Upon meeting her I knew Toby was in good hands and could see that her home and yard was safe. She sent a pic of Toby before we asked and Toby was clearly having a good stay.
