I work from home Monday through Friday, so pets are woven into my entire day, not just squeezed in before and after. I take regular breaks throughout the day and genuinely look forward to getting outside for long walks and fresh air. Having a four-legged companion along makes those breaks the best part of the day. I can accommodate multiple walks, check-ins, feeding times, or playtime sessions on whatever schedule your pet is used to.

Whether I'm watching your pet in your home or mine, my goal is simple: keep their routine as normal as possible so they barely notice you're gone. I'm available for overnight stays in your home and am equally comfortable with crate-trained dogs or pets who have free roam. I'll follow your lead on feeding schedules, exercise needs, favorite toys, and any house rules you have in place. Because I work from home, I can adapt my schedule on the fly. More walks on a rainy day when your pup is restless, a quieter afternoon for a senior dog who needs rest. I treat every pet like they're my own, and I'll send updates and photos so you always know they're happy and in good hands.

Are they nervous around strangers, kids, or loud noises? Any history of anxiety, resource guarding, or specific triggers? Medical needs or medications? Dietary restrictions? I've worked with reactive dogs, timid rescues, high-energy puppies, and everything in between, so there's very little that will catch me off guard. Knowing the details just helps me show up prepared and make sure your pet has the absolute best time possible. No judgment, just good care.
A typical day
Whatever makes your pet happiest, that's the plan. Fetch in the backyard, long neighborhood walks, a run on the trail, or a cozy afternoon on the couch watching the world go by. I follow the pet's lead: high-energy dogs get the adventure they're craving, and the loungers get all the snuggles they deserve. If your pet has a favorite park, a go-to walking route, or a beloved toy ritual, just let me know. I love keeping those special routines alive. Your pet shouldn't have to miss out on their favorite things just because you're away.

Hi! I’ve had dogs in my life since I was 10—mostly golden retrievers growing up, and now I have a 5-year-old corgi named Monty. I work from home Monday through Friday, so I’m always looking for an excuse to take a break from my desk and get outside. I’m available for dog walks, drop-in visits, play sessions, or staying in your home while you’re away to keep your pet company and give them a little vacation of their own. I also love cats and have fostered both dogs and cats in NYC over the last several years. Excited to meet your furry friend!
