“Janine watched my pup Rey for several days while I was away. She provided updates multiple times each day with pictures and Rey was a very happy pup when I returned. Rey has some separation anxiety and can be reactive around certain dogs but I was comfortable leaving her with Janine!. I returned to our home probably cleaner than I left it :)”

“I 100% recommend Kathleen! She really saved us! Our pet sitter canceled the morning we were supposed to leave for a seven-day vacation. I posted a job on Rover and she responded immediately, and very kindly stepped in to help, even though she had just finished another pet sitting gig. She took care of our beloved older dog, Dewey and our nine chickens. She was thoughtful, loving, reliable, and responsible. She texted with us almost daily, which we had asked her to do, and which set our minds at ease. She went above and beyond by giving our chickens daily treats and giving our dog LOTS of love. She is warm, respectful, and a good communicator. She also left the house in immaculate condition--in some ways cleaner than we left it. An ideal house and pet sitter in every way!!”

“Caley took care of my mini schnauzer in my home over the thanksgiving holiday. I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. Great communication and I knew my baby was in great hands. Caley was especially good recognizing Veronica’s storm anxiety and helped her through that! I will definitely use them again.”

“Brittany took great care of Wrigley and Etta while we were away at Disney World. Leaving Etta is always stressful because she struggles with separation anxiety and requires daily medication, but Brittany made the whole experience so much easier. She kept us updated throughout our trip with messages and pictures, let us know how they were doing, and made sure Etta got her medication. Both dogs got plenty of walks, attention, and love while we were away. The biggest thing for me was coming home to two happy, relaxed dogs. It was clear they were well cared for and comfortable with Brittany. Having someone we could trust with our dogs gave us so much peace of mind while we were gone. We would absolutely book with Brittany again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone reliable, caring, and attentive to their pets.”

“Ty literally came to the rescue for us. He was accommodating and so understanding of our ever changing plans. He arrived on time and was very communicative. When we arrived home our dog seemed quite content. We will use Ty again.”

“Sophia was awesome...She watched Bettis for a few days and his experience with her could not have gone better. We would absolutely use her again and would strongly recommend her to anyone.”

“Peach was so incredibly wonderful to have stay with our animals. Her warm energy, her commitment and communication allowed us to enjoy our time away knowing our animals were in great hands. Our animals instantly bonded with Peach and truly had such a great time with her! She played with Lou (our cat) and walked Yucca (our dog). We will absolutely be booking with Peach again!”

About: To me, your pet isn’t just an animal—they are your child, and they deserve to be treated like royalty. Having dogs of my own all my life and having spent over a decade pet-sitting, and previous experience working at a doggy day care, I’ve truly seen it all. I naturally prefer the company of animals to humans, and that deep connection reflects in how I care for your fur babies. Here is exactly what I bring to the table: * **Patience & Communication:** I don’t force a routine on a pet. I am incredibly patient and take the dedicated time to truly learn your pet's unique personality and how they communicate their needs to me. * **Puppy Management & Training Support:** If you have a brand-new puppy, I understand the delicate balance of consistency they need. I am experienced in reinforcing potty training schedules, crate training, basic manners, and managing that wonderful, goofy puppy energy so their progress doesn't stall while you're away. * **Specialized Senior & Delicate Care:** Older dogs hold a very special place in my heart. I have extensive experience assisting senior dogs who just need a gentler touch, a slower pace, or extra patience adjusting to new environments and pets. * **A Safe Haven for "Scaredy Dogs":** Not every pet is an immediate social butterfly. If your dog is anxious, shy, or easily startled, my gentle, intuitive approach gives them the space they need to feel safe and secure at their own pace. Whether you have a chaotic, playful puppy or a sweet senior citizen who just wants to snooze, I promise to love and protect them like my very own. (And please, tell your dog I said hi!) My Schedule & Availability I do work a full-time job 5 days a week from **8:00 AM to 6:00 PM**, but my schedule is highly predictable, allowing me to build a consistent and reliable routine for your pets. Here is how I make sure your four-legged kids get plenty of love and attention: * **Overnight House Sitting:** I am fully available for overnights! I will spend the evening, night, and early morning keeping your pets company, ensuring they are safely tucked in and never lonely. * **Mid-Day Lunch Breaks:** If your home is within 10 minutes of North Hampton, I can easily pop in during my lunch break for a quick potty relief, a leg stretch, and a round of midday scratches. * **Sundays are for Spoliation:** Sundays are my official day off, and I dedicate the entire day to the animals! ### Custom Adventures for Every Personality When I am off-clock, I love tailoring the day to whatever makes your pet happiest. I am always happy to provide: * **Beach & Hiking Outings:** If your dog loves long walks near the beach or exploring a local hiking trail, I am the perfect match. * **Backyard Fun & Games:** For the puppies and high-energy dogs, I’m always down for intense games of tug, fetch, or backyard playtime. * **Cozy Snuggle Marathons:** If your sweet senior dog or royal cat prefers a quiet day on the couch, I am a natural homebody who is more than happy to provide endless lap space and gentle companionship. In-Home Care & Overnight Sitting When I care for your fur babies in your home, my priority is keeping their routine as normal, stable, and stress-free as possible while you are away. Because I treat your pets like my own children, they get my full attention, love, and devotion. Here is what a typical stay looks like: * **Customized Play & Exercise:** Whether your dog is a high-energy puppy who needs structured walks and playtime, or a sweet senior who prefers a slow, gentle stroll around the block, I tailor the day to their physical needs and pace. * **Endless Snuggles & Companionship:** I am a homebody who genuinely prefers the company of animals to humans, so your pets will never be lonely. From couch cuddles to bedtime snugs, they will receive endless affection and emotional support. * **Reading Their Body Language:** I take the time to learn how your dog or cat uniquely communicates. If a shy cat needs space to just watch me from afar, or a "scaredy dog" needs extra patience, I listen to them and let them set the boundaries. * **Respectful Home Care:** I treat your home with the utmost respect and cleanliness. While making sure your pets are thriving, I am also happy to bring in the mail, keep your plants watered and thriving, and ensure everything is safe and secure. You can travel with total peace of mind knowing your four-legged kids are safe, loved, and deeply spoiled in the comfort of their own space!
“Leah took great care of our pup! We had such peace of mind while we were away. She spent lots of quality time with him at home and on walks, definitely goes above and beyond! Glad we found her!”

“Michelle and David took wonderful care of Ginger! They sent so many great updates with pictures and videos--I never felt I had to reach out to request photos because they were so on top of this. They were also so sweet and went out to get blueberries to give Ginger as a treat, and they left the extras in the fridge for her! They were also really clean and respectful of our home--they took the trash out before leaving and offered to strip the bed. We've already rebooked them and I know Ginger can't wait to see them again!”

“Arianna was amazing! She was super communicative, super professional, extremely friendly, and sent tons of pictures of Basil while I was away. I would definitely recommend her for house/ pet sitting and would absolutely book her again.”

About: I grew up with cats and medium and large dogs (along with other smaller critters), regularly took care of neighborhood dogs (overnight stays and walks), and I still take care of my parent’s 95 lb dog and cat when they’re out of town. I travel occasionally for work and personal reasons so haven’t yet committed to having my own pet (yet!). I love having a dog companion on my regular walks/hikes. I have a hybrid work arrangement where I’m part time in the office in Newburyport and part time at home in Amesbury. My schedule varies based on work/personal travel schedule and can be pretty flexible depending on the day when I’m at home. I’m happy to take dogs for walks near your home as needed (as short or as long of a walk as you’d like) and also happy to stay overnight to take care of pets.

“Katherine was great - she stayed overnight at our house and she took great care of our animals and house. She kept us updated with pictures and videos of all the animals. She was very flexible when we were returning home and her communication was overall excellent. We'd highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone to care for their animals!”

About: Raised around Rottweilers and American Bulldogs, large and powerful breeds are my specialty. Strong understanding of canine body language, trust building, and maintaining calm, controlled walks. Some hands on experience around horses, riding and helping with barn chores, built early awareness of animal behavior, responsibility, and safety across different environments. A love for the outdoors means dogs get full, engaging walks in any weather, never rushed or cut short. Whether your pup prefers slow, strolls or a brisk, energy burning walk, each visit is tailored to their needs. Available morning through evening for early walks, midday check ins, and consistent, reliable care. Updates while your pet is in my care are always available. I have plenty of time in both the mornings and late afternoons for check ins and walks! I can do mid day let outs and check ins upon request. Care is always focused on keeping pets comfortable, safe, and as close to their normal routine as possible. In a client’s home, I follow all care instructions closely including feeding schedules, litter box maintenance, medication (if needed), and any specific routines or preferences. I also make sure pets get attention, enrichment, and calm interaction based on their personality, whether that means playtime, companionship, or simply quiet presence. For cats especially, I prioritize a low stress approach by respecting their space and letting them set the pace of interaction. I pay attention to behavior and body language to ensure they feel secure and unbothered while their owner is away. During each visit, I focus on cleanliness, safety, and consistency, and I provide updates so you know how your pet is doing. My goal is to make your absence feel as normal and stress free as possible for your pet.
About: Excited to return to Rover! I've owned and surrounded myself with dogs (and other pets) my entire life and love it! My pups are my best friends and adventure buddies. Friends and family often call on me to help care for and train their canine friends or for advice because of my experience from working with various temperaments and behaviors. I also used to foster dogs and plan to return to that at some point. I love all breeds, ages, and sizes and find they all have unique personalities, just like people! I provide much love and attention, but know when to be a stern pack leader to keep everyone safe and in check! I use positive reinforcement and correction/redirection over discipline and I believe more exercise and encouragement can make most dogs a "good dog." Dogs tend to love me and are responsive to my leadership style. I currently work per diem and part-time so my schedule is often flexible and I love to fill my down time with furry friends I find the most critical care to be love, pats & praise, and structure & consistency. When it comes to others’ pets, I want to provide individualized care that is consistent with their daily life, so I try to incorporate owners’ standards and parenting styles. I recognize consistency is key to communicate with dogs and reduce their stress. Let me know how to accommodate you and your pet.

Kayla stayed overnight and watched our three babies (including one hyper puppy) and took great care of them and the house. She communicated well, sent many pictures, and kept us up to date with everything going on. We highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a sitter for their babies!

Arianna was so wonderful with our two young German Shorthaired Pointers. Our dogs are very active and Arianna spent significant time both walking and playing with them, which they loved. We also appreciate Arianna’s communication and flexibility. Our boys will be happy to have her as a sitter again!

I wish I could leave 10 stars. Jennifer is absolutely incredible. She has taken care of our dog a few times and each time our trip is 1000x better knowing our dog is in amazing care. She went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make sure our noise sensitive dog was as comfortable as possible while sitting for the 4th of July weekend. Her communication is amazing and she provides many updates of a very very happy dog. She is just THE BEST!
