“Gavin is a repeat sitter for my 6 year old orange tabby. Once again, communications were excellent and he took good care of my cat and my house. Gavin always spends time with his charge, as Moo is a sociable creature who loves companionship. I booked time that coincided with the recent blizzard. Gavin was completely flexible with potential changes to my travel plans, which i truly appreciated. Moo and I look forward to reaching out to him for future bookings.”

“Jessica is great!! I had a good feeling about her at our meet & greet and she proved to be trustworthy, dependable and communicative. Our dog seems to be happy and well cared for.”

About: Dogs have always been my favorite animal. I grew up with family dogs my whole life. My dog, Ellie, is an amazing 13 year old lab-mix that we have had since she was 8 weeks old. I am comfortable caring for dogs of all sizes and ages. I am a stay at home mom with a lot of flexibility in my schedule. We are an active family that spend a lot of time outside and always have Ellie with us. I treat pets as another member of the family and ensure they are well cared for. I would love to help with all of your furry friends needs! I am currently a stay at home mom with lots of flexibility in my schedule. I would have the ability to care for your dog multiple times in a day if needed. I am happy to provide any care that your dog needs. I am unable to take dogs in to my home at this time but happy to pick your dog up for walks and adventures or care for them in your house.

“Caley was unbelievably accommodating as when we were traveling we had gotten delayed quite a bit, but she was able to help us out and extend her stay and also able to be there for our dogs during one of the worst blizzards I’ve ever seen, she took great care of the house and our dogs, and we will definitely hire her again for a certain!”

“I wish I could leave 10 stars. Jennifer is absolutely incredible. She has taken care of our dog a few times and each time our trip is 1000x better knowing our dog is in amazing care. She went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make sure our noise sensitive dog was as comfortable as possible while sitting for the 4th of July weekend. Her communication is amazing and she provides many updates of a very very happy dog. She is just THE BEST!”

About: Grew up with domestic and farm animals. Have dogs and cats of my own. Very reliable and great with pets. Been caring for others pets on and off for over 20 years. I have recently retired. I currently own two French Bulldogs and a 7 year old cat. I take care of them daily and am looking to tend to others pets on an as-needed basis. My schedule is very flexible I cannot tend to others pets in my home. After owning Boxers, I realized it was much better for the animal to allow it to stay in its home while caring for it. Much less stressful for all involved.
“Tati was great! She was communicative, responsive, and attentive. My dog seemed very happy and healthy upon my return, and my house was as clean as when I left it. I would definately trust her to watch him again.”

“Teresa is an amazing caretaker. Our dog has a heavy background and it her takes a minute to warm up to new folks. Teresa is calm, patient, and loving. We had an unexpected event to attend and we appreciated that she squeezed us in without much notice. She took time out of her day to meet Honey before we left for the weekend and we immediately felt at ease and knew Honey was in responsible, good hands. We will definitely book Teresa in the future and recommend her to friends.”

“Kristen was wonderful with my two Springer Spaniels. She communicated regularly, was very conscientious, and they clearly loved their time with her. I will happily use her anytime she is available.”

“Leah took great care of our pup! We had such peace of mind while we were away. She spent lots of quality time with him at home and on walks, definitely goes above and beyond! Glad we found her!”

About: Taking care of animals is my joy. I have 3 healthy cats and an 8 week old puppy at home who I take care of, and I have been dog and cat sitting since I was around 12. When I was younger I put up flyers around town for my little pet care business, and people loved how I took care of their animals. I am currently working part time and in online school, so my schedule is very flexible and I have lots of time to take care of animals! My cats that I have had for years are healthy and happy and they are my best friends. I have never missed feeding or playing or cuddling, and I will treat my clients animals like they are my own. “Allison was amazing! Couldn’t have asked for a better pup sitter. She took care of our two dogs for a long weekend and was great at communicating, making sure meds were given, and she left our place super clean. Can’t wait to rebook her!”

Rye Beach pet parents share their Rover experiences
Caelie cared for our dog as if he were her own; he was loved, walked, fed, and she kept up with our training regimen. Caelie’s communication is top-notch! She texted updates as needed and sent us photos regularly. There were multiple snowstorms during the time she cared for him and she took very good care of our home both inside and out. I highly recommend Caelie for your pet sitting needs!
