About: I’ve been caring for dogs and cats my entire life, with most of my pets coming from shelters and rescues. This experience has given me a strong appreciation for different temperaments, routines, and comfort levels. Currently, I live with my partner Caley (also on Rover!) and an 8 year old domestic shorthair cat named Barnett. We reside in walking distance of North Beach in Hampton. I primarily work from home, which gives me excellent flexibility for walks and drop-in visits throughout the day. I am in the office a day or two, but am typically able to shift days in order accommodate walks. I take safety seriously and treat every pet as if they were my own. I follow all care instructions closely, use secure equipment, and tailor walks to each pet’s needs. When beach routes are used, dogs are kept leashed and closely supervised, with attention to weather, tides, and comfort. My goal is always a safe, positive experience for every pet.

In fact, when I first registered with Rover and started searching for house sitters with availability, I contacted Gavin in error. (Technology is not my strong suit). Gavin was gracious and kind in responding to my newbie error. When I intentionally reached out to him to see if he was interested in setting up a meet and greet, he responded in a timely manner, as he did with all of our communications. While away, I received daily updates and pictures, detailing their breakfasts together, bonding on the couch during football games, etc. Gavin’s notes were warm, sincere and always included great pictures of his charge. He always responded quickly to my comments/questions from his updates. Gavin was extremely responsible and trustworthy during his time in our home. He tidied up, above and beyond, when his time with my cat wrapped up. About: I was notorious for bringing home stray animals as a child, my parents weren’t a big fan. My heart couldn’t take a animal being on its own. Once I got to the age of working, I jumped right into house sitting animals. I’ve been doing it for 11 years. I’m currently working part time in the evenings and have most mornings free. My schedule is open for talking about what care is needed for your pet. Traveling to your home is best for me, I do not have a pet friendly house set up currently. The animal is always more comfortable in its own environment so I’ve found. I’m all about low stress environments for them.

About: For pretty much most of my entire life I’ve had a dog. I gave them all the love I had and they did the same right back at me. Currently we own a beautiful 4yr old Golden named Sammy. He is gentile playful loving and silly. When a dog walks into our home it takes about 30 seconds and just like that Sammys got a new best friend. My business is in insurance sales which has me doing most of my work from home. This allows me to take great care of my dog Sammy and any of his friends. We’ve got a spacious open concept home with a big grassy fenced in back yard for lots of play time. We can also easily crate your dog if needed. “Jeanne watched our two dogs while we went on vacation. One is older, one is young. Jeanne was extremely responsive from the introductory meeting to picking them up. She has a nicely fenced yard for several dogs and a barn area to let them run around and play. It worked out great. They both seem happy and relaxed after their stay with Jeanne. We recommend her if you are in the Southern Maine area.”

While we were away, Stacey kept us updated with photos and messages which gave us peace of mind. She went above and beyond-not only making sure Cody and Leo were fed and loved, but also taking the time to play ball and cuddle which is their favorite thing to do. When we got home, Cody and Leo were so happy and clearly well taken care for. It’s such a relief to have someone so trustworthy and dependable-we couldn’t ask for a better sitter. “Nicole and Josh watched my mom’s dog Missy who has never been away from her before. They communicated every day with pictures and gave updates on how she was doing. She adjusted well and loved going out in their yard and getting exercise! She felt like she was at home and we were very comfortable knowing she was well taken care of while we were away. There were a few dogs that they cared for during the day and Missy fit right in and they all got along great!!! I would definitely recommend them to board your dogs!”
