“Veska and her family took such wonderful care of Bo! We could see from her daily (and often multiple per day) photos and updates that he was as happy and as comfortable as he is at home. Veska truly cared for him like he was one of her own pets. We will definitely be booking with Veska again which, I’m sure Bo will be thrilled about!”

“Felicia was very accommodating and easy to work with which put all my anxiety of leaving my pets behind at ease. My dogs seemed very relaxed at her home and I believe they really enjoyed their stay with her.”

“I looked many hours for the right family to leave our Westie, Piper, with during a trip to Europe. When I met Donna and Roland at their home in Newbury, I felt so good about their experienced background with dogs. They advertised that they would allow a small dog to sleep in their bed which is what Piper is use to so this was another perk for Piper. Their home is very dog friendly and I loved the way they decorated it, inside and outside. Piper needed some extra meds while we were away and they followed all the instructions for her. When we picked her up, she was very relaxed and we knew she had a good vacation away from home. (Previously, we had people stay with her at our home.) She got to visit with another dog and a cat that lives with Donna and Roland, walked places that she had never walked before with Roland and was lovingly cared for by them. It was so good to see her so happy and content when we arrived to take her home. We will continue to book with Donna from now on and are so grateful for people like them who love her as we do. A+ to a wonderful care-free experience !!!”
“Michelle did an excellent job. She kept me up to date with photos and messages for the 10+ days she was taking care of my dog. I felt totally at ease leaving my dog with her. Would definitely use her again!”

“Shana was truly an exceptional sitter and we feel so lucky to have found her. From the moment we arrived, it was clear how thoughtful and prepared she was — she even had a clipboard with notes ready, which immediately made us feel comfortable and confident leaving our dog in her care. Throughout the stay she sent so many photos and detailed updates, which we really appreciated. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing exactly how things were going and seeing how happy our dog was. Our pup ended up having a bit of a GI issue while we were away, and Shana handled it with such calm confidence and care. She clearly knows dogs incredibly well and was so composed and knowledgeable in every situation. She even cooked rice and chicken for her to help settle her stomach and kept us updated on how she was doing, which meant so much to us. Shana, her husband Dylan, and their dog Cleo created such a warm, loving environment. It genuinely felt like our dog was being cared for by people who truly understand and love dogs. We are so grateful for the care she gave our pup and would trust Shana with her again in a heartbeat.”

“We felt really comfortable leaving our skittish boy, Dingo, with Mike and Linda once we met them and saw that he was going to be doted on! We got almost daily pics and didn’t worry about a thing while we were on vacation. Dingo was reportedly loved by their grandchildren too over their Easter Sunday dinner so we weren’t too sure he’d even want to come back home with us but he did!! Highly recommend Mike & Linda! 🩷”

“Jude was incredible with Sally and she had the time of her life. He was very responsive, prompt and took really great care of her. We would love to have Sally stay with him again in the future!”

“Denise was amazing! So incredibly great with my dogs. One of my dogs is just a nervous dog when she meets new people and she was so great with her. I was very scared leaving my babies for the first time and Denise made everything go smooth. Such a nice person! Cant say enough about how kind and caring she is. Thank you Denise!❤️”

“I highly recommend Nicholas! He was easy to work with, maintained consistent and clear communication with me, and my dog, Shadow seems to have had a wonderful time with him.”

“Bob and Kathy made me feel comfortable leaving my Bella with them the first minute I was there. Every time I was thinking of Bella, Bob sent me many pictures and let me know how she was doing. I was looking for another “home” where I felt comfortable dropping Bella off when I went on weekend getaways and vacations. I definitely think I found it with Bob and Kathy.❤️”
“Caroline and her husband are pawfect dogsitters. They take good care of my dog. It's her 4th time with them. She knows them and is comfortable at their home. It put me at peace and I can trust them with my dog.”

“My dog was in the best care with Katelyn. He was pampered and treated just like part of her family. Not only did he have the freedom to run in their large fenced in yard, he was allowed to swim in the pool. I was very appreciative of the videos and photos throughout his stay which clearly showed he had a wonderful time. I will be a repeat customer in the future.”

“Kelsey was very accommodating of my dog Nemo, who isn't always a fan of other dogs, so she made sure he was the only dog staying with her at the time! She was very communicative as well and sent many photos, which was much appreciated. I definitely recommend Kelsey to care for your pets while you are away!”

“Lindsay is so friendly and truly cares about the well-being of the animals she cares for. She went above and beyond to ensure our anxious pup gets the extra care she needs. I would highly recommend her. It's so comforting knowing your fur baby is in good hands!”

“Felicia took great care of my Bernese Mountain Dog, Bailey, during her overnight stay. She was very flexible, easy to communicate with, and made the whole experience stress-free. I had no complaints and would definitely trust her with Bailey again!”

About: I'm an animal lover and have grown up with all types of animals. I have been trusted taking care of neighbors, friends, and families pets for many years. I work from home Monday and Tuesday so I am free to go for walks and drop by your house most of the time these days. I am in the office Wednesday through Friday and will have less time but still available. Weekends are free unless I'm away. I live on an acre of land. It is not a fully fenced yard but it is set back in a small, quiet neighborhood on a dead end road. I have an indoor cat.

“Inge=Peace of Mind - first time we've needed a few days care for our two cats. Inge was great with notes and photos daily which would not always be an easy task seeking out their "hiding" places. She soon gained their trust. So fortunate to have found someone you can have complete confidence in caring for your precious pets”

“Krista bonded with my very shy cat in a way no one else has <3 He is usually pretty distraught by the time I get back from a trip, and this time he was clearly calm and happy like I had never left. Krista paid attention to every little detail I had mentioned in our meet-and-greet, and then went above and beyond to brush him, really play with him, set up toys for him to play with in between visits, and even to wear her glasses on her visits because I wear glasses too <3 Krista was so clearly invested in his comfort and care and I could not be happier to have found her. I can tell my cat will be genuinely happy to see her on her next visit, and I never thought I would be able to say that of him. 1000% recommend :)”

“Absolutely delighted with James’ calm, reliable and kind care for a kitty who can register as a bit resentful over having been left behind. He has been unphased by Roxanne’s cool reception, and, after three visits, has earned her (and my) high regard and sincere trust. Grateful for James’ resourcefulness and respect for Roxanne’s deceptively independent spirit - she (and I) appreciate that he treats her as a kitty who deserves the very best care. Highly, highly recommend this talented cat-whisperer!”

“Tereza was very attentive and caring with our cat Sammy. She sent lots of pictures showing Sammy getting lots of love which made us happy to know he was in good hands while we were away. We highly recommend Tereza and will request her again.”

“Veska took such great care with our 16 year old dachshund. She went above and beyond to walk and feed Sweetpea. We highly recommend the dog care service that Veska provides.”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs and cats my entire life, with most of my pets coming from shelters and rescues. This experience has given me a strong appreciation for different temperaments, routines, and comfort levels. Currently, I live with my partner Caley (also on Rover!) and an 8 year old domestic shorthair cat named Barnett. We reside in walking distance of North Beach in Hampton. I primarily work from home, which gives me excellent flexibility for walks and drop-in visits throughout the day. I am in the office a day or two, but am typically able to shift days in order accommodate walks. I take safety seriously and treat every pet as if they were my own. I follow all care instructions closely, use secure equipment, and tailor walks to each pet’s needs. When beach routes are used, dogs are kept leashed and closely supervised, with attention to weather, tides, and comfort. My goal is always a safe, positive experience for every pet.

“Gavin was great! My cats are notoriously shy with new people. Gavin made the effort to find them in their hiding spots to make sure they were okay and then gave them their space to let them warm up on their own terms. I felt very comfortable leaving my cats in Gavin’s care and would love for him to watch them again.”

About: I've been cat sitting for the past three years and truly love spending time with cats. I have experience caring for kittens as well as adult cats, and I always make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I'm reliable, patient, and happy to give each cat the attention and care they deserve.

“Julianne was wonderful! My kitties ended up warming right up to her and they were happy to have her around. She was very good at keeping me updated and sent me lots of photos. Highly recommended and will absolutely use her again if she's available! ?”

About: I have 3 beautiful kitties at home who I cherish and love so much. I am definitely a cat person and I love any opportunity to meet or take care of other cats. I have experience with their behavior and I know how to take care of them properly. I am also good with nail clipping if anyone ever requests it.

About: I have had cats my entire life, most of the time I have had multiple cats at once. I purchased my own cat when I was ten years old and took most of the responsibility of caring for her. Two of my cats lived to be over 20 years old! I have also cat sat for other friends and family members. I have a cat of my own who has had many medical issues and have experience giving cats medication of different varieties. I know how to gain a cats trust and how important it is for them to have clean litter boxes.

“Stephanie did an excellent job dropping in to take care of our cat! Pepper is elderly and very timid but warmed up quickly. Stephanie went above and beyond and even brought in some big packages that were delivered while we were gone. She was great at sending pictures and updating us on how Pepper was doing while we were out of town for a week. We would definitely trust Stephanie to take care of Pepper next time we are away!”

“Jennifer is warm, kind, and very skilled with humans and felines! She anticipates the needs of her clients and is a great communicator! We are so happy to have connected with this lovely and caring being!”

About: Kristine and Eric have loved and had animals our entire life. I have always helped care for pets, even as a child. Eric was raised on a farm, caring for many different kinds of animals- waking up before dawn to ensure that all animals were properly cared for and had what they needed for the day whether it be rain, shine, snow, sleet, hot, or cold. We, together, have two dogs. They are both around 10 years old and are rescues. We also have 6 chickens. Our home has a door from the downstairs to the upstairs. When dogs are home during the day and if left alone for 1 hour or so they stay downstairs with access to water, comfy couches, and dog bed areas. When we are home they have free run of the home. We also have a crate for dogs that may need a private, safe space. We have a back yard that our dog enjoys playing in, but just so you know it is not fenced in, therefore dogs remain leashed when in the back yard. We do have a deck that is closed off in the backyard where dogs can be left unleashed to hang out, but always supervised when out there. We also have a 15 year old daughter who loves animals. She assists with the care of our dogs and we have fostered a few dogs in the past from various shelters and she is always eager to assist with making these dogs feel comfortable and give them love. She volunteers at a local animal shelter with small mammals and takes care of the chickens I work full time during the school year for a school district. Eric works from home. Eric takes dogs for a number of walks per day including walks to the local dog park (Rogers Park) and to local beaches for exercise and socialization. I am home by 3:30 pm and bring my dogs (and other dogs) for exercise either running, hiking, or walking. In the summer I am mostly around. I also grew up with cats and with both have experience with cats and providing meds to cats, including insulin shots. I work full time and Eric works part to full time but we can walk dogs in the evening and walk dogs throughout the day on the weekends. I have summers off as I work in a school. I will not be offering care in my home, but am excited to take care of your pet and walk your dog and take your dog on adventures.

“We had an excellent experience with our dog sitter, Veska. She took amazing care of Oaits and was gentle, attentive, and highly professional throughout. She made sure to understand what Oatis’ needs were by communicating with us and kept us up to date through out the stay. It was clear she genuinely cares about the animals she looks after, and we felt completely at ease knowing Oaits was in such good hands. We would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and compassionate dog sitter.”

“Cecelia was great with our dog, Flora. We really appreciated receiving updates and pictures, and Flora seemed happy to return to see Cecelia again. She was very flexible and responsive. We would definitely leave Flora with Cecelia again!”

“FROM OLIVER'S POINT OF VIEW IT WAS PERFECT. ANN WAS KIND ENOUGH TO EMAIL A PHOTO OF HER DOG AND OUR DOG RELAXING IN HER HOUSE. WE MET THE DAY BEFORE ON THE BEACH IN HAMPTON TO INTRODUCE THE DOGS. I'M MOST GRATEFUL TO ANN, HER HUSBAND, AND ROVER FOR MAKING IT POSSIBLE FOR US TO ATTEND OUR GRANDSON'S WEDDING.”

“Sheila was wonderful with my dog.. was her first away play date and felt so comfortable leaving her with Sheila. She had fun with her dog Dakota who is a sweetheart. Sent me lots of pics and reassured me Bessa was doing fine. Will def be seeing her again!”

About: For pretty much most of my entire life I’ve had a dog. I gave them all the love I had and they did the same right back at me. Currently we own a beautiful 4yr old Golden named Sammy. He is gentile playful loving and silly. When a dog walks into our home it takes about 30 seconds and just like that Sammys got a new best friend. My business is in insurance sales which has me doing most of my work from home. This allows me to take great care of my dog Sammy and any of his friends. We’ve got a spacious open concept home with a big grassy fenced in back yard for lots of play time. We can also easily crate your dog if needed. Have peace of mind that your doggy will be safe and well cared for by myself as well as Sammy!

About: Without exception, the dog park is always one of the best parts of my day. I've had three dogs of my own, and have been around countless other dogs, most of whom instantly become my new best friends. We just gravitate to each other, hence the fuzzy friend whisperer nickname. I have a playful, loving attitude toward every dog I meet. I am also sensitive to dogs who need a little more patience and space to ease into trusting me and respect the boundaries that they need to do that. My training style with my own dogs is focused on positive reinforcement rather than punishment. This approach translates to other dogs as well, unless their owners request differently. Your dog will be in caring, responsible hands with me. They will be loved. Vogel Emergency Vet just opened right across the street from our house, so if anything kind of emergency pops up, your baby will be a hop, skip and a jump away from the care they need. I'm self employed and work mostly from home so my schedule is quite flexible. Sometimes I’ll have drop in visits throughout the day, but if your dog is boarding with me, there will generally be someone else at home with them. They’ll rarely, if ever be left alone. I live on a small farm but also live near a road, so your dog will always be safely on a leash when we go outside for potty breaks. I have a very friendly 12 year old 45lb labradoodle named Huck to keep your baby company in the rare cases that I'm not at home. I have a "squirrel observatory" (bird feeder) right near my workspace so your dog will not only be supervised most of the time but also entertained.
About: I’m a newly retired teacher and former principal that loves my doggies! Over the years, I’ve had so much love from my very special friends. Would love to give and get some loves from your treasured family member. I literally live in the middle of Stratham Hill Park and I love to walk. Only one “little guy” at a time…🥰 I’m loving my retirement and have lots of time and love to give. I have some scheduled exercise classes in the mornings but always home by 10:30. I’ve had so many dogs over the years. Routine visits to the vet are mandatory and walking, playing, and interacting with my friends are essential. I’m also very familiar with dogs with anxiety. One needs to approach this in a calm and careful way and watch the signs for anxiety coming on and be able to respond with love and kindness. Living right in the middle of Stratham Hill Park, I have easy access to the walking trails. Because I don’t know your dog, they will never be off leash but will be outside often during the day!! I love to walk. 🥰 I have a lovely crate IF your dog prefers this quiet space, but I will not be crating unless you ask me to. Typically my 11 year old grandson will come by after school to snuggle, play and go for a walk with me and your pup!
“Karen and family graciously took care of my dog while I was in meetings from morning - evening. She was SO kind and accomodating of my schedule, was very loving of my pup and sent regular photos and updates on his activities throughout the day. She was terrific! We give her 4 paws-up!”

About: I’ve cared for cats and dogs my entire life, growing up I gained experience with all stages of life for cats and dogs, from 8 weeks old to senior care. As our dogs (Dude and Pookie) aged, I spent my teenage years developing a strong appreciation for the extra patience, attentiveness, and support older animals need. I also raised my own dog, Koda (9), so I understand the consistency, structure, and engagement younger dogs require. I am also very experienced with all ages of cats, please see my cat sitter profile for more in depth information. :) Since I work from home, I’m able to provide a high level of supervision, consistent care, and a flexible schedule tailored to your dog’s routine. Whether your pup needs long, active walks or a slower, more relaxed pace, I adjust my care to meet their individual needs! Having recently moved to New England, I genuinely enjoy getting outside and exploring new areas, so I can make each walk both enriching and engaging for your dog as we explore, while ensuring they feel safe, exercised, and well cared for. I work from home full time and my dog is lucky enough to have multiple walks to the dog park each day. I would be able to provide a similar time commitment for your pets as my work is flexible and my fiancé can care for our dog if I need to give yours some one-on-one time :) We live in a cozy apartment near an off leash dog park. Because of this I am used to going on many walks a day, but am also comfortable with playing in yards, or making it fun and enriching inside as well! My favorite thing to do for my dog when we are stuck inside on a rainy day is empty out his whole toy bucket and let him go crazy!
“Ashley is amazing with dogs, and provides a safe yet busy and fun environment that all but guarantees leaving your pup happy and tired. We are so thrilled to have found her and plan to leave our mini doodle Sam with her again and again. Highly recommended!”

“Rose has been great for us and more importantly for Roy this week. She has a great location that allows for plenty of outdoor activity and has a friendly dog of her own that loves to play. This was perfect for our Doberman puppy. Highly recommended”

About: I've been watching my neighbors dog along with cats and dogs of friends and family for 12 years now. I only work part time now and make my own hours so I have a ton of flexibility in my schedule. I love all animals and want to provide you with stress free pet care. I enjoy walks and work remote so I can fit your pet's needs into my schedule. I have 2 friendly cats and did have a Siberian Husky for over 16 years who crossed over last year. I love walking dogs and do have a small yard and live on a nice walkable street.
“Kiley is the absolute best! I was nervous about leaving my new pup for the first time but her care put me totally at ease. She is an excellent communicator and has a natural skill with dogs. I couldn’t be more impressed!”

“My dog had a great time at Shelby’s house and big back yard. Shelby was very communicative and posted lots of pictures during the stay. When I’m back in the area I will definitely book again!”

“Our dog was so tired and content by the end of their day with Enzo and Enzo's dog. Adorable picture of them playing/hanging out outside. Communication was super easy and prompt, we felt really comfortable with our pup being in their care, and would recommend them to watch anybody's fur baby!!”

“Samantha has been wonderful to have as juice’s “as needed” dog walker. She is always on time, very communicative, and enjoys actually spending some time with juice and our cat Luca. I highly recommend Samantha for all of your dog (or cat) sitting needs!!”

About: Hey there! My name is Caley and I live right by North Beach in Hampton, NH with my fiancé, Garrett. I’m a photographer and a huge animal lover. We don’t have a dog of our own just yet, but I grew up with massive, drooly dogs (Great Pyrenees and Newfoundlands), so I’m very comfortable handling pups of all shapes and sizes. I’m also a huge cat lover - so much so that we became “failed” foster parents to our now-cat, Barnett, who we fostered from The Odd Cat Sanctuary. BONUS: Because I’m a photographer, you can count on endless high-quality photos and videos of your pet while they’re in my care! I now work a 9–5 job as a Product and Marketing Photographer, in addition to running my own photography business on the side. Because of that, I’m only available on weekends (and some Friday's) for Dog Walking & Drop-in Visits. I am fully available to House Sit any day of the week, provided the commute to my 9-5 job remains manageable! I consider myself to be pretty laidback, go-with-the-flow and playful. My goal is to always ensure your pet feels safe and comfortable in my care.

“Garrett was awesome with my pup Sumo! It was my first time leaving my dog alone with a Rover sitter and he was an amazing find. He was very communicative and was also flexible with me in scheduling.”

“Andrew was a great dog walker! I've never, ever used a sitter before and I have a GIANT 4 month old Great Pyrenees. She's just a baby but she's about 35 pounds and FULL of crazy puppy energy. We normally walk her about 5-6 times a day but we needed a walker just for the daytime for 5 days. The first couple days was just once a day, but she was still having problems being crazy in her cage all day (until 4pm.) So I called Andrew and asked to up the walks to twice a day, and he was EXTREMELY helpful! It was a life saver! I spent the whole trip very worried about my puppy but it really helped to see pictures and get feedback about her behavior every day.”

“Krista is amazing! We needed someone patient and trustworthy to come over and wake up our dogs, take them potty, feed them, and play with them. We have a blind dog and a deaf dog, and she took her time and ensured that they were comfortable with her! She went above and beyond and we are definitely doing to book with her again!”

“Gavin did an excellent job with drop-in visits for our dog! He brought her on neighborhood walks each time, ensured she had fresh water, and fed her meals as scheduled. He followed all instructions as far as returning her to her crate, making sure house doors were locked, etc.! Gavin was reliable, kind, and on schedule. We would definitely book with him again!”

“Cody was wonderful with our elderly dog, Amelia. So kind and thoughtful, ready to research our particular issues. I highly recommend her, and I will be sure to remember her if I need help in the future. Thank you Cody!! Lisa A.”

“I didn’t get any info about Macgyvers walk, so not sure how it went. Macgyvers walk seemed to be shorter than 1 hour that I booked, but Phoebe was very nice at our meet and greet and Macgyver seemed to like her at that visitvalso.”

“Jude was incredible with Sally and she had the time of her life. He was very responsive, prompt and took really great care of her. We would love to have Sally stay with him again in the future!”

“I highly recommend Nicholas! He was easy to work with, maintained consistent and clear communication with me, and my dog, Shadow seems to have had a wonderful time with him.”

My sister is a veterinarian so I often get the pet questions. I will go above and beyond for your pet.
“Diamond took such great care of our dog Maple! He's sometimes a little anxious but he was completely at home there. Diamond sent frequent photo updates and even took him to work with her. We'll definitely be dropping him off here again the next time we go away.”

“My dog got tons of attention and was well taken care of the entire stay. I received lots of pictures and updates, which really put my mind at ease. They also have a great yard—perfect for playtime and letting my dog run around safely. I could tell my pup was happy and comfortable the whole time.”

“Michael was very communicative the whole time, and our Caju had a great time at his house! He was well taken care of and came back happy and tired :) I’ll definitely do it again when needed!”

“Donna and John are great to work with and we fully trust them with our pup. They communicated well before and during our trip and it was clear our dog settled in quickly and was comfortable throughout. We'll be asking them to sit again for sure!”

“I’ll start by saying that Sheila is the most wholesome and kind person and to top it all off she loves dogs. I’m new to NH and it was hard for me to think about leaving Maverick with anyone new, but the moment I met Sheila and Dakota all my worries went away. Sheila loved on Maverick like he was her own and provided me with consistent updates on his time with her. I couldn’t have asked for a better suited person to care for my dog during my trip. We will definitely be back and can’t thank Sheila enough!!”
