Hi! I’m an experienced, reliable animal lover with 11 years of hands-on experience working with pets in a variety of settings. I’m a licensed veterinary technician, so I’m very comfortable administering medications, injections, and special medical care, including senior pets and those with health needs. I’ve worked in doggy daycares, walking services, grooming environments, training facilities, and veterinary clinics, giving me a well-rounded understanding of animal behavior, safety, and individualized care. I’m confident handling pets of all sizes, breeds, temperaments, and energy levels. I work from home, which means I have a flexible schedule and can provide plenty of attention, supervision, potty breaks, and enrichment throughout the day. I’m extremely upbeat, patient, and detail-oriented, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. I pride myself on being dependable, communicative, and attentive, you’ll always receive updates, photos, and peace of mind while you’re away. Safety is the most important thing next to happiness! I always triple check gates/doors/leashes/collars to ensure that nothing will happen to a family member! Understanding that when family isn’t home is one of the times a dog may try to sneak out looking for them is so important, so extra care must always be taken.
Ratings and reviews
Kayla stayed overnight and watched our three babies (including one hyper puppy) and took great care of them and the house. She communicated well, sent many pictures, and kept us up to date with everything going on. We highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a sitter for their babies!

Brego LOVES Kayla! This is really something, as he is super reserved around all humans, so we have limited options for his care when we are away. Kayla is very responsible and committed to making sure our boy is happy and comfy in our absence. And her experience as a vet tech gives us great peace of mind. We are so glad to have found Kayla; she is a perfect match to care for our guy when we can't be home.
We've never left our boy Brego "home alone" for so long. He has some anxiety issues that have resulted in him not being comfortable in a boarding situation. So, when we go away from home for periods of time, we board our other dog and leave Brego in his comfort space with his good friend Kayla. This trip had us leave the house on Thursday morning and return Monday evening. During that time Brego was by himself during the day (although he has safe, secure indoor/outdoor access) and Kayla stayed with him overnight. She sent us frequent updates, and apparently he was much more interested in playing and hanging out with her than he ever is with us! Kayla took good care of our buddy and also brought in our mail, watered our patio veggies, and left our home exactly as she found it. We trust her completely with our boy Brego and with our home, and we feel extra peace of mind knowing that she has a veterinary background, just in case. Kayla has given us the confidence to once again take trips away from home without constant worry about Brego. Thank you Kayla and Rover!

Schedule
I work full time, but in a remote position. I have a flexible schedule based off your needs. I miss seeing animals every day, which is why I want to offer these services! I will only take bookings that make sense for both parties.
