About: Animals make me so happy. I will fall in love with your fur baby and care for them like they were my own. My educational background is a BS in Social Work and (almost) an MS in Psychology. I recently left my full time office job and have free time before I start my next chapter in the summer of 2027. I have mostly an open schedule right now, until May of 2027. I am free during the morning, afternoon, and evening. I can do weekend help too. I prefer caring for your pets in your home. I have a blended household (myself, grandmother, and my husband) with 3 cats who would not appreciate doggy playdates. I also believe they will be more comfortable in their own familiar space.

I’m comfortable with a wide range of personalities and triggers — from total couch potatoes to pups who struggle to walk down the street. About: You're going away, and the only one more anxious than your pup watching you pack a suitcase, is you, wondering who will take care of them with just as much love and care as you would. That would be me (and my husband and two dog obsessed toddlers)! There are people who like dogs, and then there are dog people. We're the latter! I’ve had dogs in my family my whole life, and cared for dogs through Rover and for friends for over 12 years. I have experience with dogs of all ages, sizes, and health needs, and feel comfortable providing medication. After taking a long Rover maternity leave, we're ready to welcome dogs back into our home. Pups coming into our care MUST be good with young kids (ours are 4.5 & 3) and fully house trained. My husband and I both work in schools, so weekdays we are typically home by 3/3:30pm. When the weather is nice, we try to spend as much time outside in the afternoon with our kids in our huge fenced in yard. During school vacation weeks and weekends, we are almost always home, or adventuring nearby to find walking trails, playgrounds, or other outdoor/dog friendly spaces. I always want to replicate what they’re familiar with while you’re away so that they are as comfortable as possible. This will look different for every dog, and we are flexible to that. Safety is a massive priority for our family, as it is just as important for us that your dog and we enjoy their stay. Dogs are never left unattended in our fenced in back yard - my husband or I will always be outside monitoring them. Baby gates separate the kitchen/dining area from the living room/play room area, and used when dogs are eating or if our kids/dog are getting overstimulated and could use a break. We never let the dog off leash if we take them to a public park or walking trail. We do not go to dog parks.

“Jess was terrific with our senior terrier, Loki and finnicky cat, Willie. When Willie brought her a mouse carcass she diligently mopped our entire deck floor to eliminate the remains! She goes above and beyond. Sent us many pictures to put us at ease and communicated timely when we wanted to check in or she had questions! We’ll be inviting Jess into our home again!”

Recently was hired to dog/house sit & was reminded of my love for dogs, being excited to go to work, flexibility in my schedule, & have a great balance of bonding time with my son, all at the same time. Dogs are always kept on leashes when we go outside, if needed. Meal/medicine times are set on a timer to maintain structure/routine. Games of fetch, gentle petting, fur brushing, calm, but firm demands to “sit”, and also “stay”. As well as, positive words of encouragement, cuddles on couch/bed, & feeding of dog treats. Cats- Structured meal times, daily litter box scooping, gentle petting, cuddles, using a laser pointer for playtime, positive words of encouragement, fur brushing,& gentle baths, when needed.

About: I am an animal lover who had had dogs and cats my whole life. I go for 1-2 hour walk or hike with my dog and would love more company. I walk in the mornings and offer pick up and drop off. I work from home and have mornings free. I usually walk from 8-10:30 on weekdays and am flexible on weekends. Would love to have your pup join me! Gina was wonderful & warm and gave our girl lots of exercise and attention. She even took her to a softball game! About: I have had cats and dogs my entire life. I have pet sit for a number family members; cars, dogs, chickens, and a duck. Have taken care of my pets solo for extended periods of time. I am currently in school for Elementary Education. I have classes 3 times week, but 2 only have certain dates. I am not on campus for more than 2 hours each of these days. Can easily go from class to a job. Follow owners directions carefully, and make sure the pets have everything they need. Will follow directions explicitly. Company, food, water, walks, medication, and other requirements for said pets

He even went so far as to help with snow removal after a big snowstorm at our house while still walking them both twice a day.
