About: Donna and I started taking care of dogs when we lost our Chesapeake Bay Retriever, Dutchin. We got her when she was 3 months old and she was our baby. When she crossed the Rainbow Bridge, we couldn't bring ourselves to get another dog, but wanted to still experience the joy that dogs bring to our lives. We decided to provide both care and a safe, loving home for other people's pets while their humans are away or otherwise unable to care for them short-term. This way, we can give you peace of mind in knowing your best friend is safe and happy, and we get to interact with all kinds of dogs, which gives us great joy! Your friend will get all the love and attention you give them; and, well, if we spoil them a bit too much, sorry (not sorry)! We are both retired, so we have plenty of time to care for your pets whether in our home or yours. We are available for walks, drop in visits and overnight boarding in our home. When boarding with us, your fur baby will never be alone as someone is always home. We have a large fenced-in yard where your dog can run and play off leash safely. Are your pets used to making themselves at home on the couch? Not a problem! They are more than welcome to snuggle up on ours. If you wish to make your pet a little more at home, you may bring your pet's bed, toys and/or crate.

Felix, who is not always sure about new people he meets, immediately took to Kathleen when she came to our home for a meet-and-greet. Kathleen sensed Felix’s apprehension and quickly put him at ease with her calm, affectionate, low-key response. On the basis of our visit, we mutually agreed to have Kathleen stay with Felix a few days later while we enjoyed a quick 24-hour getaway. While we were away, we had good, clear communication by text message. Although we were delayed getting home, Kathleen volunteered to stay until we returned so she could give us a verbal report, which we appreciated very much. When she left, Felix’s dejected body-language showed he was sad to see her go; clearly he had enjoyed her company. We look forward with confidence to having Kathleen stay with Felix again.”

About: I grew up with cats and medium and large dogs (along with other smaller critters), regularly took care of neighborhood dogs (overnight stays and walks), and I still take care of my parent’s 95 lb dog and cat when they’re out of town. I travel occasionally for work and personal reasons so haven’t yet committed to having my own pet (yet!). I love having a dog companion on my regular walks/hikes. I have a hybrid work arrangement where I’m part time in the office in Newburyport and part time at home in Amesbury. My schedule varies based on work/personal travel schedule and can be pretty flexible depending on the day when I’m at home. I’m happy to take dogs for walks near your home as needed (as short or as long of a walk as you’d like) and also happy to stay overnight to take care of pets.

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 10, including my own dog! Neighbors, friends, and family can rely on me to give their pets ample attention, long walks, and personal care. I am comfortable with dogs of many sizes and ages. I have experience working with senior dogs who require medication and special treatment, as well as puppies who need extra care while they learn the ropes. I work part-time and have an active lifestyle, so I can accommodate long walks during the day or stop by visits on the weekends. I have my own dog, whom I love to bring on off-leash walks multiple times a day, and who is friendly with other animals. I have a small fenced-in backyard, and a small dog who gets along well with others. Our backyard has a door with a handle rather than a doggy door that requires me to let the dogs out and watch them while they play to ensure their ultimate safety.

“Kadence was wonderful at looking after my dog. She was patient during his "warm up" phase but got him to settle down and settle in. Unfortunately he needed at trip to the emergency vet and Kadence handled it calmly and competently. We had good communication throughout my vacation and I returned home to a happy dog and clean house.”

About: I’m a single Nana no current pets I miss the puppy snuggles and kisses . I have had to pill my dog kids in the past so I’m familiar with that as well I work full time 8-4 . Work is in Manchester Nh home is in Hampton Nh My weekends are free. I wake early and stay up late . I’m able to offer potty breaks and mid day local check-ins . I enjoy walking dogs on leash around the block or in your yard . If they enjoy fetch or belly rubs I can handle that too .

About: i am a parent to one big boy cat named Kemper! I grew up owning dogs and kittens and have never been able to live without a pet. My cat may possibly be my best friend and i’m okay with it but we could use a break sometimes from real people. I have watched pets for friends/ co workers/ family for multiple years and have completed training for dogs with aggression in the past. Watching others pets keeps me for trying to adopt every pet i see! I work at an autism day program M-F from 8:30-4pm so I have morning and nights available for whatever care is needed for every individual pet! I have had pets with health issues so I am super accommodating to their needs. My cat is extremely affectionate so attention needy animals are welcomed!

About: We are a family of four! We have my kids 50 percent of the time- they are 8 and 6! We have a fenced in yard that the animals can run in! I work from home so I’m home majority of the day- I leave for some meetings randomly but not for too long. We are members at a great dog park in NH that we take our dogs to often especially with nicer weather! We have two dogs- A 3 year old Bernadoodle and a 2 year old long haired chihuahua. Both very friendly with other animals! We also have a 10 month Mancoon Cat who loves playing with the dogs and acts like a dog herself! We have been caring for animals for a long time and we welcome all types of animals into our loving family! We give our dogs a lot of attention and we will do the same with yours! I work from home and my job is very flexible. I will be home majority of the time and will be able to give a lot of attention and love! I have a full fenced in yard! I have a screened in porch also that provides some outside time when not in the yard! It’s a very safe area!
