House Sitting in Amesbury

About: Dogs have always been a part of my life, and caring for them is a passion of mine. I have pet sat for friends and family since 15. Whether you need a quick check-up for your dog, or someone to keep them company while you’re away for a trip, you can rest assured your dog will find in me a new best friend by the end of my visit. I work part time and have a very flexible schedule, so I am able to take on last minute calls with no problem. I can drop by on your dogs any time to feed them, let them outside, and spend time with them. One thing to always remember is that not only am I a guest in your home, but your dog’s home as well. I am respectful and observant of any and all of your dogs’ needs and will dote on them with the utmost urgency.

About: I grew up with cats and medium and large dogs (along with other smaller critters), regularly took care of neighborhood dogs (overnight stays and walks), and I still take care of my parent’s 95 lb dog and cat when they’re out of town. I travel occasionally for work and personal reasons so haven’t yet committed to having my own pet (yet!). I love having a dog companion on my regular walks/hikes. I have a hybrid work arrangement where I’m part time in the office in Newburyport and part time at home in Amesbury. My schedule varies based on work/personal travel schedule and can be pretty flexible depending on the day when I’m at home. I’m happy to take dogs for walks near your home as needed (as short or as long of a walk as you’d like) and also happy to stay overnight to take care of pets.

About: Donna and I started taking care of dogs when we lost our Chesapeake Bay Retriever, Dutchin. We got her when she was 3 months old and she was our baby. When she crossed the Rainbow Bridge, we couldn't bring ourselves to get another dog, but wanted to still experience the joy that dogs bring to our lives. We decided to provide both care and a safe, loving home for other people's pets while their humans are away or otherwise unable to care for them short-term. This way, we can give you peace of mind in knowing your best friend is safe and happy, and we get to interact with all kinds of dogs, which gives us great joy! Your friend will get all the love and attention you give them; and, well, if we spoil them a bit too much, sorry (not sorry)! We are both retired, so we have plenty of time to care for your pets whether in our home or yours. We are available for walks, drop in visits and overnight boarding in our home. When boarding with us, your fur baby will never be alone as someone is always home. We have a large fenced-in yard where your dog can run and play off leash safely. Are your pets used to making themselves at home on the couch? Not a problem! They are more than welcome to snuggle up on ours. If you wish to make your pet a little more at home, you may bring your pet's bed, toys and/or crate.

About: I have always had animals in my life. Always had a dog in the household and have helped with litters of puppies being raised. I take care of most of my friends and families pets when they need and I am currently available anytime/any day. I am very active and know a lot of local hiking trails for dogs and outdoor areas for fun. I am very easy going and hope to help as much as possible. I am currently available most days and times. I recently left a remote work schedule and are focused on studying for other avenues. I am open to taking last minute requests or scheduled long term care. I have a fenced in yard that connects directly to my back porch. I am very active and would be willing to take dogs on outdoor adventures. I am open to all types and sizes of dogs as I have plenty of space and am around all breeds on a weekly bases with friends and family. I would be willing to stay at a clients home for care as well. I have no children or pets of my own currently so I am flexible with schedules.

Whether your pup needs lots of play or extra snuggles, I’ll make sure they feel safe, happy, and well-loved while you’re away. I am currently available weekdays and weekends for walks, drop in visits and overnight stays. I am working part time and my schedule is flexible. I believe in keeping the lines of communication open! I will keep you posted daily on how your pup is doing and any details of their experience or behavior that I think you should know. I will ask questions if I need more information and I would ask you to let me know anything you are wondering about while you’re away.

About: I have been a vet tech for many years and am experienced in both large and small animal care. I am very familiar with medication administration, as well as recognizing signs of illness or unease. I love all animals large and small, and will treat your pet like my own! I work for myself and have an extremely flexible schedule that I can tailor to individual needs. I am a homebody and am around most weekends I have a fenced in yard, and an extremely friendly and loving dog in my own home. I am also very comfortable with overnight stays, in which my partner would watch my own dog.
