“We couldn’t have asked for a better house and dog sitter! From the moment we met Colleen, we felt completely at ease leaving our home and our two very different pups in her care. Our elderly dog, Quila, needs a little extra patience and love these days, and Colleen handled her with such gentle care and attentiveness. On the other end of the energy spectrum, our young pup Archie is full of energy and always ready for action. Colleen gave him plenty of exercise, playtime, and affection. We got regular updates and photos that showed just how happy and well cared for both dogs were. Our home was spotless when we returned, and it was clear that Colleen treated the space with respect and care. We came back to two relaxed, happy dogs and a home that felt like we never left. We would absolutely welcome Colleen back anytime and wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable, loving, and responsible sitter. Thank you for taking such great care of our fur babies and our home!”

“Outstanding! Our first time having a sitter for our St. Bernard puppy. Heather couldn’t have been better. Came over, took him for a walk, played, sent us pictures and little updates. I got home from work and he was almost too tired to greet me. Would 100% recommend her to anyone in need.”
About: We are a family of four! We have my kids 50 percent of the time- the are 8 and 6! We have a fenced in yard that the animals can run in! I work from home so I’m home majority of the day- I leave for some meetings randomly but not for too long. We are members at a great dog park in NH that we take our dogs to often especially with nicer weather! We have two dogs- An almost 3 year old Bernadoodle and a 2 year old long haired chihuahua. Both very friendly with other animals! We also have a 8 month Mancoon Cat who loves playing with the dogs and acts like a dog herself! We have been caring for animals for a long time and we welcome all types of animals into our loving family! We give our dogs a lot of attention and we will do the same with yours! I work from home and my job is very flexible. I will be home majority of the time and will be able to give a lot of attention and love! I have a full fenced in yard! I have a screened in porch also that provides some outside time when not in the yard! It’s a very safe area!
“We are so happy we found Erin! She is very reliable and kind... the pups were in good hands and we were able to have a nice weekend away knowing that our babies were being well cared for. Will be booking again!”

About: Hello! My name is Kate and I am in my early 30s. My mother is a veterinarian and I grew up around dogs - both our own family pets and animal hospital patients. Growing up, my family has had several dogs - all labs or lab mixes. I have extensive house-sitting experience for dogs of all sizes/breeds and absolutely love dedicating time to dogs. I have both worked at an animal hospital, and as a full-time dog walker. I am familiar with various leash types and am comfortable walking high-energy dogs, dogs who do not do well with other dogs etc.. I do have experience watching special-needs dogs and I am completely comfortable doing so ! I took a break from Rover while my work schedule was not compatible, but I am excited to be back! I have a Master's degree in Higher Education from Harvard and am currently working as college counselor at a private school. I have summer off, so I can dedicate plenty of time to your pup while you are away on vacation! My boyfriend and I have a dog of our own, Ellie, who is a very sweet doodle-mix. I am more than happy to sit at your home if your pup would not get along with Ellie, and we can always do a meet and greet of the dogs if it would be helpful. During the summer, I only work remotely with private clients as a college counselor, so my schedule is very flexible! I can essentially be with your pet for as many hours as they need - and can really mold my schedule around what works best for you! Dog care is always a priority in my weekly/daily routine - and I love that! If your pup comes to stay here, we tend to take Ellie on several long walks a day, both off-leash and leashed, as long as it is not too hot. We also have a small yard where we often play frisbee, or just let Ellie sniff around while we sit outside. Again, we have a doodle mix named Ellie, who will be turning 6 this summer. She gets along with dogs, but is generally more human-focused. We have a small, mostly fenced yard, as well as several walking trails nearby. My significant other is also a teacher who has the summer off, so your pup/cat will get double the attention!
“Justine was very easy to work with. She met me and our dog before her stay to help me and my dog get to know her. She took care of our house, even purchasing some items we ran out of. We will look forward to having Justin sit again on our next vacation.”

“Watanya is very caring and communicative. She sent us pictures every day and was in constant contact. We felt that both our pets were in perfect hands. She is diligent and trustworthy. We will definitely think of her for any other vacations we may take.”

“Allison was truly a blessing and if I ever need this service again, I will absolutely contact her! This was my first time ever leaving for multiple days and our planned sitter (a friend of ours) fell through shortly before our trip. Allison gave us the peace of mind that our dog's would be taken care of. She stayed with them for more time than I had even dared hope for and sent us regular updates. She was transparent, responsible, respectful and kind. Upon our return it was obvious that our dogs missed us but it was also obvious that they had been well cared for and treated with nothing but love and kindness. I can't possibly be even more thankful than I am.”

Newton Junction pet parents share their Rover experiences
Caleigh is fantastic! She stayed for a few days with my older dog, who is very well behaved, and with the new puppy who is not. Caleigh gave them both incredible attention, love, and care. She took the older dog for long walks and was very patient with the little one. She sent me pictures and gave a lot of updates, which I really appreciated. She left the house exactly as she found it. Extremely trustworthy and will definitely be hiring her again.

Mary did a great job taking care of my Shih Tzu. She is still getting used to being an “only dog” so Mary spent some extra quality time with her on the couch together, which is her favorite pastime. Mary sent lots of cute pictures and Elvie was well taken care of. The house was also in great shape too. Thank you Mary!

Ixia took wonderful care of our dog, kept us updated, and made sure he was safe and comfortable despite the snowstorm. On top of that, she was a great houseguest and kept everything neat while we were away. We would absolutely work with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring sitter.
