“Sofiya took wonderful care of my dog, Spot, at her home. He is old, has challenges, special needs and needs lots of care, handling and attention. I had great relief when I knew that Spot was being looked after with such great attention and affection. Thanks to Sofiya for helping me when I needed it. And Spot was happy.”

“We are new to rover.com and feel very fortunate to have found Jennifer. She has many years of experience and we felt confident that she knows how to handle any situation. A great communicator, we really appreciated the regular updates. She, her family, her pups and her pup guests were great company for our dog. When we picked him up, he was so calm and relaxed, we knew he was very happy with his stay with Jennifer and her family. We look forward to booking with her again!”

“We had a sitter for our pup for 3 yrs and had to find him a new sitter since we moved. After looking at several sitter we ate really happy and blessed to find Christy and her family. They are very loving and caring and took a very good care of our pup. They also shared an update with a picture which gave us a peace of mind that our puppy is well taken care of. Thank you Christy and family!”

“Frida stayed with Joyce and her family for the second time and everything went really well! They truly love pets and take care as if she is part of the family. I have so much piece of mind to send Drida to them every time I need to be out, Thanks for being so nice and careful with her!”

“Diane was so quick and responsive to my boarding request! Her home is beautifully tucked away in nature, which gave my dog a much needed break from all the holiday fireworks. She was very professional and communicative - sent regular updates with photos included. I know my dog got regular walks and playtime in during the stay. Diane showed great kindness and care, and I really trusted that my dog was in good hands with her. Thank you Diane!!”

“Nadia helped us out when we were in a pickle when our dogsitter had to back out at the last minute. She welcomed our two dogs, got to know their personalities, and cared for them like they were her own. I would 100% recommend her for a caring place for your dogs to stay and be treated like gold.”

“Hongmei was great!! My puppy loved playing around in her backyard. Hongmei even supplemented her regular kibble with chicken and veggies. She sent videos and pictures of my happy dog every day. Thank you so much Hongmei for taking such great care of Marcy!!”

“We booked with Jade because our regular sitter was out of town, but she (and her husband) may become our go to! She did a thorough meet and greet the day after we contacted her, and asked tons of great questions. She walked us through her home and yard so we saw where the pups would be (very uncommon in my experience, so I appreciated it). Their home was neat, nothing extra that the pups would get into potentially. I loved that they (and their beds) came home clean, there was only 1 additional dog (other than their 2 small ones) in their care, and they kept to our pups regular schedule. Jade and her husband take a very professional approach to their care, even though they both work and Rover is not their main gig. Thank you Jade, I’m glad we kept looking and found you. 😊 the pups loved hanging with them.”

“We are so thankful we found Cheryl. She and Ed cared for our pups as their own. Our two dogs felt at home, even our little anxious one. They played, napped, walked, played more, and got lots of belly rubs. Cheryl sent us regularly updates with photos and videos. We feel safe leaving our pups with them again and again. Thank you!!!”

“Our older Australian Shepherd Lucy did great at Cristina’s. Came back to a happy dog. Space is clean. Pictures of Lucy out on the town were routinely sent which helped with peace of mind about leaving Lucy at a new place.”

About: As a devoted parent to two energetic Australian Shepherds, Joyce (black tri) and Grace (blue merle), I've spent the last 4 years providing hands-on care in our Saratoga home, including daily exercise, grooming, and health monitoring. What sets me apart is my specialized training in service dog preparation—I've successfully taught heel commands, desensitization for reactivity (like barking at other dogs), and focus cues such as "look," "leave it," and "settle" using positive reinforcement. This makes me ideal for puppies needing foundational obedience or seniors requiring gentle, structured routines to manage energy and joint health. Plus, with experience in multi-dog households and pet-friendly travel (like RV trips), I ensure every fur baby feels safe, stimulated, and loved in a calm, fenced yard environment. As a tech professional in transition, my schedule is flexible, allowing me to dedicate afternoons (3 PM onward) and weekends to pet care while handling personal projects like coding practice in the mornings. Daily, I integrate pet sitting seamlessly with my two Aussies' routine—morning walks at 8 AM, playtime around noon, and evening check-ins—ensuring guest pets join in for structured exercise and downtime in our fenced Saratoga yard. Weekly, I block out 20-30 hours for boarding or drop-ins, prioritizing reliability with real-time updates via the app, all while maintaining balance for my own pups' needs. In my Saratoga home, safety and trust are paramount for boarding and daycare services. Our fully fenced yard provides a secure space for supervised play, and I maintain a calm, structured environment with separate areas for rest and activity to prevent overstimulation—ideal for my two Aussies, Joyce and Grace, who serve as gentle playmates. I conduct initial meet-and-greets to ensure compatibility, administer medications precisely if needed, and use positive reinforcement for any behavioral adjustments. Real-time photo/video updates via the app build trust, and I'm CPR/first-aid certified for pets, with emergency vet contacts on speed dial. For drop-in visits or house sitting at clients' homes, I follow your routines meticulously—feeding, walking, and playtime as specified—while prioritizing safety by checking for hazards like loose wires or toxic plants. I arrive punctually, document everything with photos, and leave the space tidy, fostering trust through consistent communication and respect for your home.
“We recently left our dog, Sam, with Carole and Terry for a week-long trip to Europe. This was only the second time we’ve ever left him with someone while traveling, and my wife had been quite anxious about it. We had used Carole and Terry once before for a shorter trip, and since that experience went well, we decided to book with them again. They were wonderful from start to finish. They sent us daily updates and photos of Sam, which truly helped put our minds at ease. When we picked him up, it was clear he had been well cared for—happy, relaxed, and clearly fond of them. We are extremely pleased with their care and will absolutely use them again. Carole and Terry are kind, flexible, and clearly love dogs. We highly recommend them to anyone in need of overnight dog sitting.”

“Bali kept us updated frequently about how our kids were doing throughout the day with messages and pictures. Our dogs seemed happy. Bali and her family also seems to have enjoyed hosting our dogs. Will definitely rebook in the future”

“Grace is a wonderful person and a true dog lover. She took excellent care of our dog Boba and provided plenty of updates and pictures every day that Boba was at her house. Boba loved to go on walks and Grace made sure that he got 2 walks per day and was also very particular about his feeding schedule. Boba was very happy at Grace’s house. We will definitely book her again.”

“Linda was amazing! This was the first time we left our dog with a stranger so I was very nervous and didn't know how my dog would be with someone she didn't know. But Linda kept me at ease and was always sending me updates about Riley throughout the day! Our dog loved staying with Linda!”

“Kelly was awesome with my 2 cats, very accommodating and spent lots of time with them, trying to make them comfortable. She sent a lot of updates with video and pictures. Lots of room at her home for the cats to roam around in and hiding spots to make them feel safe. Thanks Kelly!”

“Hi, I can tell when my dog was not stressed upon return from a boarding experience and our dog, was happy when no the caring hands of Steve and co. I got regular updates and My dog went on long walks and hikes. He had the company of other dogs and behaved in Steve’s presence- him being a trainer himself. Both the parties felt that it was a good fit - before boarding. Will not hesitate to recommend Steve with a glowing 5-stars!”

Neha was amazing with Summer! She took great care of him and kept me regularly updated with photos and videos, which are really appreciated. Summer had a blast playing with her dog, Eevee, and came back so happy and relaxed. Overall, it was a great experience, and I’d highly recommend Neha to anyone looking for a caring and reliable sitter!

My large dog Yeti can be prone to anxiety, but looked very comfortable and relaxed in Diane's care. She took him out several times on walks and also let Yeti explore her beautiful backyard. Diane also sent detailed updates with photos and was very kind when I messaged that I was running a little late. Thanks again for watching Yeti!

I couldn’t have asked for a better dog boarder. She was incredibly caring, attentive, and genuinely treated my dog like her own. She consistently sent updates with pictures and messages, which gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. She was always polite, professional, and followed every instruction exactly as requested. Communication was clear and timely and it was obvious she truly cares about the dogs she looks after. I would absolutely trust her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, thoughtful, and responsible dog boarder.

We were so pleased to have found Michelle to take care of Azurite the week before our vacation trip. Michelle did a great job watching Azurite for us. She sent daily updates of Azurite. She took Azurite on long hikes, walks him 2-3x a day, and she cooked him chicken breast to add to his food so that he would eat. She was very caring and attentive to Azurite making sure he was taken care of all times. I would definitely book with Michelle again the next time we need someone to watch Azurite.

I was in Saratoga for a concert and didn’t want my golden retriever to miss out on the road trip and a few weekend adventures. Stacey was amazing—she kept me updated with great photos, and honestly, my dog probably had a better time than I did (lol). I felt 100% comfortable leaving him with her and would absolutely use her again if I’m ever back in the area. Highly recommend!

Hi, it’s me, Phoebe! 🐾 I had the best time staying with Ellie! She was so kind and made me feel right at home. I LOVE going on walks, and guess what? Ellie took me on three walks a day! I was in heaven—so many sniffs, so little time. 🐕💨 She gave me lots of love, made sure I was comfy, and kept my humans updated the whole time. They really appreciated how easy she made everything. I was wagging my tail the whole time—and I’d absolutely love to stay with her again! 10/10, would boop again. 🐶💕
