“My lab mix Steinbeck had a great relaxed time at his first overnight stretch (3 nights and days) at Camp Mita, after previously spending several good doggy daycare days there. He is a rescue with a trauma history so he can become quite nervous when I am away-- but not so at all when with MIta and family!--who gave him so much TLC as well as lovely walks. MIta's calm and friendly older yellow lab also clearly was a very reassuring presence to him. I loved receiving the gracious daily photos so I could see how "at home" he was making himself. He came home completely grounded. I was able to enjoy my time away so much more because he clearly enjoyed his time with Madhumita. Thanks for your attentiveness to a sensitive dog, Mita!”
About: Dogs have been and always will be one of my greatest loves! My childhood dogs made my life so much more meaningful. When our own kids were growing up we had two dogs which we adopted as puppies and had the pleasure of having until they passed from old age. Both our son and daughter are Rover dog sitters and we have greatly enjoyed helping them care for these amazing dogs. Now, we are ready to take care of our own! We are a retired couple who loves dogs and will almost always be home to provide companionship and love to your pup. We also enjoy taking dogs on neighborhood walks and making sure that they have a fantastic vacation while in our care! We have a large fenced yard and a grassy area for the dogs to run around in. We also have a swimming pool. Our peaceful neighborhood is perfect for going on walks with the dogs and we will send daily photos of your dog to you!

I am currently in school part time so I have plenty of time to spend with your pup or kitten! My flexible schedule allows me to give my undivided attention to each and every pet to ensure that I do not rush my time with them. I am also available for more than one day a week or multiple check ins a day to build routine with your furry friend I have a friendly puppy that loves to play to keep your dog company! My house is pet proof and my cats are friendly with dogs. We can go to the dog park or explore new parks together! My dog is also crate and pen trained if your dog is not the most comfortable with another dog and needs some space. They will get their own separate room and to sleep and decompress in.

“My lab mix Steinbeck had a great relaxed time at his first overnight stretch (3 nights and days) at Camp Mita, after previously spending several good doggy daycare days there. He is a rescue with a trauma history so he can become quite nervous when I am away-- but not so at all when with MIta and family!--who gave him so much TLC as well as lovely walks. MIta's calm and friendly older yellow lab also clearly was a very reassuring presence to him. I loved receiving the gracious daily photos so I could see how "at home" he was making himself. I will make sure that you pet gets the exercise they need, both mentally and physically, Aside from the daily walks, I also like to take them to the park to play if possible.I will treat them as my own I have taken training classes to learn how to train dogs and understand dog behavior. I don’t currently have any pets, so visiting dogs will receive my full attention. About: About Me I have been passionately caring for pets since I was 10 years old, and have been doing the same on Rover for the last 7 years through my son's account until he moved out for college. I now have a 6 year old poodle at home, who loves playing with dogs too. In our home, your furry baby will receive round-the-clock love, attention, and plenty of belly rubs. Your pet will be walked twice a day - morning and evening. And my energetic playful poodle will make sure they get plenty of exercise and play in our backyard during the day.
