“My lab mix Steinbeck had a great relaxed time at his first overnight stretch (3 nights and days) at Camp Mita, after previously spending several good doggy daycare days there. He is a rescue with a trauma history so he can become quite nervous when I am away-- but not so at all when with MIta and family!--who gave him so much TLC as well as lovely walks. MIta's calm and friendly older yellow lab also clearly was a very reassuring presence to him. I loved receiving the gracious daily photos so I could see how "at home" he was making himself. He came home completely grounded. I was able to enjoy my time away so much more because he clearly enjoyed his time with Madhumita. Thanks for your attentiveness to a sensitive dog, Mita!”

This was Teo’s first stay outside the care of a family member, but from our very first meeting in Yoona and Minjae’s clean, welcoming home, I felt completely at ease knowing he would be in the best hands. Teo was comfortable with them right away, and the photos and videos they shared throughout his stay showed just how happy he was - enjoying plenty of walks, enrichment, and feeling truly included as part of their pack. It was clear that Teo received so much love and attention; he was affectionate with Yoona and Minjae and was genuinely treated like a member of their family. Communication was excellent from start to finish, and they were incredibly responsive and flexible with scheduling. The entire process was seamless, and Teo was calm and confident being left in their care. About: My first exposure to cats was Raisin, my beloved tabby when I was 3 years old. My next cat "of my own" was Spooky, a Russian Blue abandoned in a Seattle Queen Anne Hill apartment building who joined our family when I was a preteen. I've been caring for cats ever since. My husband and I have cared for many cats of all ages over the years and my own cat Elvis just passed at 18, so I know exactly what it takes to care for a senior cat: the feeding schedule, the medication, the careful observation, the quiet corners they retreat to. About: I understand how important it is to make sure your fur baby is well taken care of while you are away. I provide peace of mind for you when you are away from them. I provide lots of cuddles, playtime, and continuous communication with picture updates about your babies. I have had so much experience growing up on a vet farm with dogs, cats, chickens, horses and cows. I also have pets of my own who need pet sitting once in a while and have found some of the best pet sitters on Rover. I do require a meet and greet to make sure everyone is a good fit before I accept a booking. I am currently available to pet sit for most weekends. About: I work from home so your dogs will be with me most of the time. I have a three year old mini schnauzer whom I adopted when she was a puppy so I am familiar with dog care. I typically took my dog out twice a day for a 30-40 mins long walk as well as a short potty break in the middle of the day. I work from home so I will be able to care for your dog while you are away. My household includes two kids (age 10 and 12) who also love dogs and a a three year old Mini Schnauzer named Jigglypuff. Jiggly loves having a playmate I have a fenced yard with spacious lawn to play. I do have a swimming pool without a fence, i don't let my dog out unless I am out in the backyard. Dogs will sleep on their own bed either in the living room/family room or my bedroom. Dogs are allowed on our sofa but not our beds.

About: Dogs have been and always will be one of my greatest loves! My childhood dogs made my life so much more meaningful. When our own kids were growing up we had two dogs which we adopted as puppies and had the pleasure of having until they passed from old age. Both our son and daughter are Rover dog sitters and we have greatly enjoyed helping them care for these amazing dogs. Now, we are ready to take care of our own! “Our dog, Lucky, had a great week of stay with Vinod and his family over the holidays. He found great company in Shadow - also a yellow lab - and the other dogs that boarded at the same time. Vinod shared many photos and videos every single day, of the dogs playing, eating, sleeping and having a fun time together. It really made our holiday trip so much better knowing Lucky was having a good time too. “Dapeng was wonderful for boarding our dog. He was a last minute switch from previous sitter who couldn’t take care of our dog. Dapeng provided excellent care and sent regularly photos from the walks and the home. He was communicating regularly and sent updates. Dapeng has a nice backyard and other dogs so our dog had social interaction as well. I would be happy to have Dapeng care for dog again in the future.”
