About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and currently have two of my own, so caring for animals is second nature to me. I’ve worked with dogs of all sizes and personalities, including seniors and anxious pups who need a little extra love and patience. What sets me apart is the warmth and attention I bring to every animal in my care. Most pets settle in with me quickly because I take the time to understand what makes them feel safe, comfortable, and happy. I’ll play with your dog, stick to their routines, and treat them with the same care and respect you would. Your pets will be in loving, capable hands. I'm also fully insured through Pet Sitters Associates and Red Cross First Aid/CPR certified, so I'm well prepared for any accidents or emergencies. I work full-time from home, which gives me a lot of flexibility to provide care throughout the day. I can usually adjust my schedule around your pet’s routine and am used to balancing work with walks, feeding, and check-ins. That said, I do have occasional heads-down work time or virtual meetings, and I may step out for short errands or appointments. It’s helpful if your pet is comfortable being alone or relaxing independently for brief periods, but I’m happy to talk through what kind of care setup works best. It's important to me that your home feels cared for while you're away, and I do my best to make sure I leave it the way I found it. The more instructions you give me for what you'd like to see in your home, the more I'll be able to do for you during the sit! I'm also fully insured through Pet Sitters Associates and Red Cross First Aid/CPR certified, so I'm well prepared for any accidents or emergencies.

“Alexandria took great care of Duke on daily walks throughout the week. She is very reliable and was responsive to changes in our schedule as well. Would highly recommend her and will book again!”

About: What sets me apart is my lifelong experience and calm, confident approach to pet care. I grew up caring for a German Shepherd and, starting at 16, three bulldogs—so I’m comfortable with big personalities, strong breeds, and all the drool that comes with them! I’ve also dog-sat for friends and taken their pups on regular walks, including those with anxiety or special routines. I’m patient, observant, and always make sure pets feel safe and loved while their humans are away. Whether your dog needs a running buddy, your senior cat needs a quiet companion, or your anxious pup just needs someone who understands—I’m here. I’m a morning person with a flexible schedule. Avid runner so can work with high energy dogs. I’m also available for evening walks and check-ins—perfect for pets with routines or extra energy. I’m able to provide more schedule details. I prioritize comfort, safety, and trust. I take time to get to know each pet’s personality and routine—whether that’s quiet companionship for cats or daily walks and play for dogs. On walks, I stay alert and avoid unfamiliar dogs unless I have permission to interact, always keeping your pet’s safety first. For cats, I create a calm, low-stress environment, keep their space tidy, and respect their boundaries.

“Becca is awesome! Super communicative, and Stella adores her! Two thumbs way up, all the high fives! It’s been wonderful and a major peace of mind having Becca around and knowing my pup is well taken care of :)”

“Jiayi is very professional, communicative and great with our dog!”

About: I grew up in a household with two dogs and two cats, one of whom grew to a very happy old age. Hence I have experience handling puppies from 6 weeks old to senior dogs. This includes reinforcing healthy potty training behaviors, teething behaviors, oral and topical medication applications, light grooming, and playing. If you're looking for a sitter who has a flexible schedule, loves playing with puppies, is a pet photo junkie, reliable, and trustworthy--then look no further! Please send a message to request a booking today! I work full-time from home and am looking for a side hustle (*COUGH cough getting a heavy dosage of fur baby cuddles) to enrich my day-to-day. With the exception of a couple of days a week I am usually available weekdays, and with special notice I can be available on weekends. Pet visits: I'm based in Emeryville off of San Pablo and am open to visits in Oakland and Berkeley. My main mode of transport is bicycle so anything farther than a 3 mile radius would not be ideal, but still possible as long as we communicate. Extended pet sitting requests (over one hour) are doable as long as there is wifi for me to work with. My ideal window for requests is to be made 24 hours in advance. When you book with me, you book with the promise that how I find your home will be how I leave your home. Pet boarding: I live in a townhouse with stairs, a fenced front yard, and a fenced balcony patio with plenty of room for your pet to roam. The neighborhood where I'm at is conducive for pet walking and the environment is quiet and peaceful. Depending on the request we can map out a cadence of pet updates, photos and videos, as well as other tasks (such as medications, play, feeding, etc). Boarding requests need to be made one week in advance, and cancellations made 48 hours in advance. When you book with me, you are making a booking with the promise that your pet will be cared for and safe, you will have daily updates, and your pet is going home with you.

About: I have 6 years of pet care experience including experience with anxious dogs and dogs needing some additional time to warm up to new humans. I currently have a border collie that’s 4 years old so I’m also used to caring for higher energy dogs who need a little more. I love taking dogs on hikes around the bay if that is something your pup is into or to the local park. I also have experience with older and small dogs that require a calmer environment. I hold a graduate degree in psychology and have spent time studying pet behavior and body language and will be happy to apply my skills to your pup and am alway happy to continue reinforcing specific behaviors you are working on with your pup I currently do pet care full time so I will be available all day to care for your pup and can cater my schedules to the specific need of your pup wile I care for them My home is on the first floor with a small fully fenced yard and doggy door (which I can also block is that is your preference) but I find that dogs often find it helps to be able to come in and out. The yard and off the street and has 6ft fence so your pup will be safe. I live alone with my pup so no one else will be in the home

“Sam was great! It takes a lot to manage two dogs at once especially when one’s an Irish wolfhound & the other’s a 7 month old puppy. They were no problem for him. Sam arrived on time to every walk & communicated any necessary changes with plenty of advance notice. He was even kind enough to accommodate an oversight on my part. I’d definitely book with him again.”

About: As a kid, I wasn’t allowed to get a pet, so I spent as much time pet sitting as I possibly could. I’ve cared for cats, dogs, guinea pigs, and rabbits. I was lucky enough to have my own dog through my late childhood and teenage years; as an adult, I’ve continued to pet sit for friends and family, and even fostered dogs and cats during COVID-19. I’m used to animals with a wide variety of personalities, and always want to give all of them love, in the way that they want love to be shown. I work from home full-time Monday through Friday 9 to 5 (with occasional days in the office), and would be so happy to have your pet over, visit your pet, or play with your pet during those times. I’m often free on Saturdays as well, and while gone Sunday mornings, a Sunday evening check-in or host is never off the table. I live alone in a sunny apartment with big windows that your pet can look out of and watch the world go by. I’m clean and conscientious, so your pet won’t have to worry about finding any surprises on my floor.

“Anna is one of the few people I totally trust with our BC mix Ava. Our pup is reactive to other dogs and generally quite shy, and Anna is incredibly patient and understanding with her. Anna has a very calm, gentle and assured demeanor that has such a calming effect on our pup, and even takes care to work with her reactivity on walks and report back. I get excited when it’s time for Ava’s walks, knowing what a good time she’s in for. Cannot recommend Anna enough, your pup is in experienced and loving hands!”

About: OVERNIGHT BUNNY BOARDING AND DOG/CAT/BUNNY DROP-IN VISITS! *dog overnight boarding rates are actually for bunny clients. Hi! My name is Danielle, and I'm an animal lover to the core! While I had my special needs rabbit, I realized how hard it was to find an experienced bunny baby-sitter, especially one that was able to administer medications and care. Now that my little bun has passed away, I thought I could offer this much-needed service to other bunny parents out there. I work from home and between having been previously employed at House Rabbit Society Headquarters, and also at an animal hospital for just over 7 years, I have had both actual training and years of experience to bring to the table...well over 20 years! You can trust that I will care for your little one as if they were my own. I have experience with special needs (medications, injections, fluid therapy, food prep, etc.), as well as a valuable understanding of bunny, cat, and dog behaviors and body language. I treat animals like family members and your fur-baby will be no different! I very much look forward to meeting you and your furry loved one! :) I work from home, so I generally have a fairly flexible schedule and am present quite a bit, making it easier to maintain your baby's schedule and care routines and give lots of attention. I offer Bunny Boarding in my home for a single or bonded pair (or trio depending on their space needs). They stay in my office in my condo, which means I will be around them a lot throughout the day, and away from hub-bub of other animals (like you might expect at other boarding locations) so it's easy to keep things quite and low-stress. For drop-in visits for cats/dogs/bunnies, I tend to spend a moment with treats and greetings before going into play or for walks, showing them I am trust worthy. If they enjoy it, I love giving brushies, and using their favorite toys to play. Always happy to do a little focus work for treats, so if you want me to reinforce any training commands, I would be happy to. Cuddles and petties are an essential and core part of the menu (and personally my favorite part), but I always read body language and energy cues as to how much affection they are interested in at the moment.

“Flexible, understanding, and sweet! Would definitely use Simone again. Thanks!”

“Yena is genuinely one of the most thoughtful, reliable people I know — and that carries through in how she cares for dogs. She’s calm, observant, and always pays attention to the little things, which makes a huge difference when you're leaving your pet with someone else. I’ve seen how quickly dogs feel comfortable around her — even the nervous or high-energy ones. She’s the kind of person who’ll send updates without you needing to ask and make sure your dog is getting exactly what they need (plus a few extra cuddles). If you’re looking for someone who will treat your dog with real care and intention, you won’t find better than Yena.”

“So I went on vacation for a week and needed someone to take care of my cat Boba. I asked Phuong to watch Boba for me and she did great job! Boba has a strict feeding schedule/diet and a lot of energy. I got plenty of updates and lots of pictures of them playing while I was away. Boba was very comfortable hanging out with Phuong. If I ever needed to leave for another trip I would hit up Phuong to watch over boba for me again.”
