About: Hi, I’m Yena! I have years of professional and personal experience caring for animals, from playful pups to seniors who need extra patience and attention. I treat every pet as if they were my own, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. My goal is not only to give your pets the best care possible, but also to give you peace of mind while you are away. What sets me apart: Certified and insured care: I am fully insured through Pet Sitters Associates and certified in Red Cross Pet First Aid and CPR, so you can relax knowing your pets are in safe hands. Communication for your peace of mind: I always send frequent updates with photos and a quick summary of how things went. Clients often tell me they value the level of detail, the questions I ask, and the care I put into making sure every need is met. Experience with all personalities: I have experience with animals of all personalities, including shyer cats, anxious pups, social dogs, and seniors. I take time to learn what makes each pet feel at ease and tailor my care based on their needs. Reliable and respectful: I will stick to your pet’s routine, keep your home tidy, and treat both your pet and your space with care. Clients often share that their pets settle in with me quickly, and many return to book again. My goal is to give you peace of mind and your pets a loving, dependable companion. I work full-time from home, which gives me a lot of flexibility to provide care throughout the day. I can usually adjust my schedule around your pet’s routine and am used to balancing work with walks, feeding, and check-ins. That said, I do have occasional heads-down work time or virtual meetings, and I may step out for errands, food, or other appointments. Because of this, I ask that pups are comfortable being alone or relaxing independently for up to 6 hours. I'm quiet, clean, and non-smoker. When I'm not hanging out with your pup, I will likely be working, reading, or catching up on a TV show. I'll take care of your home and make sure to leave it the way I found it. The more instructions you give me about your home, the more I'll be able to do for you during the sit! I'm also fully insured through Pet Sitters Associates and Red Cross First Aid/CPR certified, so I'm well prepared for any accidents or emergencies.

About: I have pet sat for many acquaintances over the years, as well nannying which included caring for family pets. I also have two cats of my own! I am currently wfh freelancers, I have plenty of availability in my schedule to care for other peoples furry guys! I have too small of an apartment to have a dog of my own - so my own pet care would never get in the way. I play with my cats every morning and night for at least two hours a day. I believe in a healthy diet for all animals, as well as providing an enriched home life for all domesticated animals. I am proudly in tune with an animal's body language and how the all vocalize their needs differently.

About: What sets me apart is my lifelong experience and calm, confident approach to pet care. I grew up caring for a German Shepherd and, starting at 16, three bulldogs—so I’m comfortable with big personalities, strong breeds, and all the drool that comes with them! I’ve also dog-sat for friends and taken their pups on regular walks, including those with anxiety or special routines. I’m patient, observant, and always make sure pets feel safe and loved while their humans are away. Whether your dog needs a running buddy, your senior cat needs a quiet companion, or your anxious pup just needs someone who understands—I’m here. I’m a morning person with a flexible schedule. Avid runner so can work with high energy dogs. I’m also available for evening walks and check-ins—perfect for pets with routines or extra energy. I’m able to provide more schedule details. I prioritize comfort, safety, and trust. I take time to get to know each pet’s personality and routine—whether that’s quiet companionship for cats or daily walks and play for dogs. On walks, I stay alert and avoid unfamiliar dogs unless I have permission to interact, always keeping your pet’s safety first. For cats, I create a calm, low-stress environment, keep their space tidy, and respect their boundaries.

“Alexis is such an awesome sitter and she always goes above and beyond to keep me updated on my dog’s care. Receiving Alexis’ activity summaries and photos are a genuine highlight of my day. It is so awesome to know that my Gloria is in such good hands and having a great time while I am away. Alexis allowed me to take my senior dog out of daycare and she is so much happier now. I will continue booking with Alexis for as long as I can!”

About: I grew up in a household with two dogs and two cats, one of whom grew to a very happy old age. Hence I have experience handling puppies from 6 weeks old to senior dogs. This includes reinforcing healthy potty training behaviors, teething behaviors, oral and topical medication applications, light grooming, and playing. If you're looking for a sitter who has a flexible schedule, loves playing with puppies, is a pet photo junkie, reliable, and trustworthy--then look no further! Please send a message to request a booking today! I work full-time from home and am looking for a side hustle (*COUGH cough getting a heavy dosage of fur baby cuddles) to enrich my day-to-day. With the exception of a couple of days a week I am usually available weekdays, and with special notice I can be available on weekends. Pet visits: I'm based in Emeryville off of San Pablo and am open to visits in Oakland and Berkeley. My main mode of transport is bicycle so anything farther than a 3 mile radius would not be ideal, but still possible as long as we communicate. Extended pet sitting requests (over one hour) are doable as long as there is wifi for me to work with. My ideal window for requests is to be made 24 hours in advance. When you book with me, you book with the promise that how I find your home will be how I leave your home. Pet boarding: I live in a townhouse with stairs, a fenced front yard, and a fenced balcony patio with plenty of room for your pet to roam. The neighborhood where I'm at is conducive for pet walking and the environment is quiet and peaceful. Depending on the request we can map out a cadence of pet updates, photos and videos, as well as other tasks (such as medications, play, feeding, etc). Boarding requests need to be made one week in advance, and cancellations made 48 hours in advance. When you book with me, you are making a booking with the promise that your pet will be cared for and safe, you will have daily updates, and your pet is going home with you.
