“Rory warmed up to Michael immediately! I love the pictures from their walks, I can tell that both are having a great time. I feel good knowing we have someone reliable to take Rory out on a regular basis.”

“Laura is a gem! I hired Laura to walk Ragnar while my husband was out of town for the week and I was working. She was prompt, excited, and ready for an adventure with treats at the ready every morning! Laura and Rags immediately bonded and he would come back tired and happy! I can’t thank Laura enough and will definitely be using her in the future!”

“A fantastic dog walker. Michelle is very conscientious and well organized. She always provides a complete report of the walk and makes sure that the house is all locked up and secure every time she leaves. We have nothing but great things to say about her and have no worries about trusting her with our beloved dog.”

About: I’ve had pets my whole life including dogs, cats, birds, fish, and rodents. I have also watched dogs for friends and family. I stop to pet every dog I come across out in the world, with the owner’s permission of course. I’m always looking to make friends with animals. My dog passed away at 17 in November 2024, so I would love to fill some time with more animals until I’m ready to adopt again. I’m currently self-employed and working part time, so I have plenty of time to walk and play with your furbabies! My schedule is pretty flexible, especially for the rest of this year. Outside of your home I can take your pup to a local dog park, or take them for nice walks on some local trails, or even around your neighborhood.

“Rory really took to Charles and Teresa as soon as he met them! They were flexible with me right away when I needed to make changes to his walking schedule and it was really helpful.”

About: Hello! I have been caring for pets since I was a child. I have always had my own cats, dogs, rabbits, and even a hamster. I have a love and passion for caring for animals, so much so that I received my Bachelors Degree in Veterinary Sciences! I have experience working with all types of pets and I enjoy taking care of your fur babies <3. I can easily fit pet care into my schedule. I am a stay at home mom and enjoy spending time caring for animals 🫶🏼. I am available whenever you need me! I have a fenced in yard and would treat your pets with love, as if they were my own. I know how important our pets are to us, and I take animal care very seriously. I can't wait to shower your pet with extra love and hugs while you're away!

“Maggie was great! Sent a message when she got here. Took Dorothy on a nice walk. Let me know when she dropped her off. And took pics of Dorothy on the walk. Will be contacting her again!”

About: My first experience taking care of dogs came at the age of 14 when my family got a rescue black lab puppy. Around the same time, I also started taking care of my friends' pets when they were away. Ever since then, I've become a huge dog lover and have become quite familiar with their different needs and signals. Whether they are playful, couch potatoes, big babies, or outside-lovers, I'm there for them! I am doing this as a part-time gig for the summer, so I have plenty of flexibility! The only times that don't work for me are Thursday and Friday mornings. I can take care of your pet on weekends and (most) holidays. I know meeting new people can be overstimulating for some dogs, especially with the combination of owners being away. I focus on being gentle and making pets feel as comfortable as possible. I also recognize every dog is unique and has their own habits/needs, which I take into account as well.

About: I have always loved dogs and eventually the begging worked when we got our first family dog when I was 7. Along with our own family dogs, I have taken care of many different dogs in my life, from Maltese to Great Dane, from 9 weeks old to 15 years old. I have dog-sat neighbor's dogs for weeks at a time, taken care of service dogs, and began fostering in 2020. I care for and love all dogs like they are my own and am learning more and more about training as I foster service dogs in training while at school! I am currently in school taking four classes so the majority of my time is free. I am available for walks/care about every day of the week except for 12:30-4 on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The way I care for a pet varies between clients as sometimes I am asked to do simple training, while other times I'm told the dog is totally fine hanging out they just need someone to be home. I always follow the owners instructions/recommendations to ensure the best experience for all involved! I also do not typically feel comfortable letting dogs off leash outside unless the area is fenced in, I prefer to be on the safe side. Your dog will be in the best hands :)

About: Hi! My name is Juliana and I am a college student living in Boston this summer. I am a dog owner myself and have experience with dogs of all ages. I am comfortable meeting new dogs (or cats!) and taking care of them. I looking forward to the opportunity to walk or house sit for your pup! I am a student at Northeastern University and I just wrapped up a 6 month internship. Looking to stay busy the rest of the summer. I have a very flexible schedule and will be available during mornings, afternoons and evenings! I live in the city so can easily get to different homes. I can take them out on walks, feed them if needed, play with them, and offer them lots of attention.

About: Donna and I started taking care of dogs when we lost our Chesapeake Bay Retriever, Dutchin. We got her when she was 3 months old and she was our baby. When she crossed the Rainbow Bridge, we couldn't bring ourselves to get another dog, but wanted to still experience the joy that dogs bring to our lives. We decided to provide both care and a safe, loving home for other people's pets while their humans are away or otherwise unable to care for them short-term. This way, we can give you peace of mind in knowing your best friend is safe and happy, and we get to interact with all kinds of dogs, which gives us great joy! Your friend will get all the love and attention you give them; and, well, if we spoil them a bit too much, sorry (not sorry)! We are both retired, so we have plenty of time to care for your pets whether in our home or yours. We are available for walks, drop in visits and overnight boarding in our home. When boarding with us, your fur baby will never be alone as someone is always home. We have a large fenced-in yard where your dog can run and play off leash safely. Are your pets used to making themselves at home on the couch? Not a problem! They are more than welcome to snuggle up on ours. If you wish to make your pet a little more at home, you may bring your pet's bed, toys and/or crate.

About: Mostly open schedule and full time Rover sitter! ~ Airbnb owner in Peterborough and animal lover! As a young, energetic pet sitter, I bring a fresh, athletic approach to caring for your pets. I’ve worked with athletic puppy breeds, cared for playful kittens, and owned a poodle for 10 years, giving me firsthand experience with a range of personalities and needs. My background in house sitting and babysitting has instilled a strong sense of responsibility, but my true passion is caring for animals! I’m dedicated to keeping pets happy, active, and well-loved, ensuring they feel right at home while you’re away. I truly am 100% present, and make sure your pet is entertained, healthy, and happy. Bookings in Peterborough are most convenient for me! If you have animals over 70 lbs please message me and I’ll refer you to Jackson Bartlett who is phenomenal with larger breeds and great with training as well! If you’d like to stay at my Airbnb check out “Beautiful Home on The River” on Airbnb! Mostly open with flexible schedule - I am self employed l at my own Airbnb in Peterborough while studying for my real estate license for a couple hours a week so my schedule is open and flexible any day of the week! I offer a safe and engaging environment, with a decently secluded backyard that’s perfect for a fun game of fetch. Although we don't have a fence yet, the backyard is on a lower level than the street, and we will use extended leashes if need be. We also have a large deck where dogs can relax and watch birds on the river and enjoy the surrounding wildlife. Whether in your home or mine, I ensure that pets are given plenty of attention, exercise, and love. My goal is to make them feel comfortable, happy, and well-cared for at all times.

About: I've owned and been around dogs (and other pets) my entire life and my dog (Kermit, 9) is my best friend and adventure buddy. I also foster dogs - and recently adopted one, so now I have a 2nd furbaby (Maisey) - so occasionally I have an extra dog. I love all breeds, ages, and sizes and find them to all have unique personalities just like us people! Friends and family call on me frequently to help care for and train their canine friends or for dog advice because of my experience and knowledge in working with various temperaments, behavioral issues, and training. I provide much love and attention, but know when to be a stern pack leader to keep everyone safe and in check! I support using positive reinforcement and correction/redirection over discipline and I believe a lot of exercise can make any dog a "good dog." Dogs tend to love me and are responsive to my leadership style. Daycare and/or Boarding: I do meet & greets so you and your pup can meet me, my dogs, and sniff around my space before services begin. Please feel free to contact me with questions or suggestions - I want to do my best to meet you and your dog's needs.

About: I have grown up with pets my entire life and in my teen years began to watch friends and neighbor's animals. I have experience with elderly animals and with training younger ones as well! I am currently a college student working a summer internship, however I have availability past 6:00 Monday through Thursday and full availability Friday through Sunday. With both my own pets and pets that I watch I first make sure they consistently have clean water and the appropriate food. Around every two hours for dogs I will bring them outside and let them play. I also try to interact/ play with the animal as often as possible, but respect their boundaries if they are a little more timid.

“Erin was great with Reggie and came through for me when I needed someone on short notice. Everything went smoothly and I came home to a contented dog. Thanks, Erin! Will definitely use you again.”

Kayla H.
“Kayla is amazing with pets! I’ve known her for a few years now and while we worked together canvassing areas for potential clients, Kayla always had to stop and pet every single animal we saw in our path. I always thought it was funny that all the dogs were attracted to her more than me, but they must serve her love for animals cause she’s a pet owner herself. I definitely recommend Kayla as a pet caregiver your animals will love her and she will treat them like her own.”
