“Ellie was so great! Communicative and my pup adored her! She came for some mid-day walks and improvised with playtime after a quick potty break when the weather wasn’t cooperating (my dog does NOT like the rain). I highly recommend booking with Ellie!”
“Charles & Teresa went above and beyond to walk my dog Lilly while I was attending a memorial service for my friend. I drove down from Maine, met them at the cemetery, and they entertained Lilly while I participated in the service. It was so appreciated! I was afraid I wouldn't be able to find anyone to walk Lilly since I would not be a repeat client but they were willing and eager to help.”

About: Donna and I started taking care of dogs when we lost our Chesapeake Bay Retriever, Dutchin. We got her when she was 3 months old and she was our baby. When she crossed the Rainbow Bridge, we couldn't bring ourselves to get another dog, but wanted to still experience the joy that dogs bring to our lives. We decided to provide both care and a safe, loving home for other people's pets while their humans are away or otherwise unable to care for them short-term. This way, we can give you peace of mind in knowing your best friend is safe and happy, and we get to interact with all kinds of dogs, which gives us great joy! Your friend will get all the love and attention you give them; and, well, if we spoil them a bit too much, sorry (not sorry)! We are both retired, so we have plenty of time to care for your pets whether in our home or yours. We are available for walks, drop in visits and overnight boarding in our home. When boarding with us, your fur baby will never be alone as someone is always home. We have a large fenced-in yard where your dog can run and play off leash safely. Are your pets used to making themselves at home on the couch? Not a problem! They are more than welcome to snuggle up on ours. If you wish to make your pet a little more at home, you may bring your pet's bed, toys and/or crate.
About: I have had pets of all kinds my entire life, to which I have been trusted to take care of them. I have experience pet sitting for family and friends, though most of my pet experience has come from my personal pets. My dad is also a K9 officer and dog trainer, which has given me a lot of experience being around big dogs and seeing how to take care of dogs. I am currently on summer break from college, so I have a lot of time on my hands to spend with furry friends! I don’t have any significant schedule barriers at the moment! I can easily follow and meet any specific needs of your home or pets. I have experience caring for all kinds of pets, including those with special needs, so I can absolutely cater my care to any individual pet!
“So very thankful for Janine!! I was caught at the last minute needing a dog walker and she responded almost immediately and was able to help me out! My dog seemed to absolutely love his time with her and relaxed/snoozed quite contently in his crate afterwards. Definitely recommend!”

“My dog LOVES Robyn! I’ve never seen him jump for joy quite like when she’s at the door. Robyn has been a life savor for those busy days when I can’t take my pup on a long walk. I do the 60min every time and my dog comes back with a big happy face on! BRW Robyn will share the best photos of your dog EVER. I look forward to it every time.”

“Meaghan was such a big help and I’ll definitely be requesting her again! She sent plenty of photos from the walk and refilled my dog’s bowl without me even asking. I definitely recommend her!”

“Punctual and reliable! Thank you for taking such great care of Samuel over the past two weeks. It was reassuring to know he was in good hands, and I truly appreciated your consistency and care. I would definitely recommend you to other pet parents.”

About: Have raised two labs, so can handle all age spans. Recently have done senior care for my own dog, who passed at the age of 16.5. I am passionate and have a basic understanding in animal nutrition. I believe that the love and care your pour into in animal is what you get back in return. Im currently a stay at home mom to three loving girls, 10, 12, 14. I deeply love animals and have felt the emptiness of losing our lab in September. I would love an opportunity to love on your pet! I have a small unfenced yard currently, but live on a quiet street with an Amazing park at the end of the street, that is shaded and has many trees for sniffing. I am planning on being around most of the summer and can accommodate, walking, sleeping and cuddling needs. I currently have no pets in myhouse, so your pet will get the utmost attention. I will not only love, but can provide very focused and physical care. I can be as athletic as the pet needs t to be or as chill as the pet demands. I just want to make your pet feel loved and comfortable. If its just a walking service needed i can do that to, I am a runner and love being outdoors so can run or walk your pet wherever they might want to go.
About: cared for dogs my whole life, as the daughter of a former dog breeder I am comfortable around animals of many sizes. Overnights, walks, care! I am available to do weekly or daily walks during my lunch from 12-1 or 1-2pm, or after 5:30 & for overnight sitting in your home I will be sure to get a clear understanding of you and your pet whether it is for a daily walk or overnight, good communication!
“Nikki was absolutely amazing! She went above and beyond caring for my dog Enzo—even bringing him homemade treats. He usually takes a long time to warm up to new sitters, but he bonded with Nikki right away. She's always on time and was great at communicating throughout, including providing great photos from each visit. I highly recommend booking her!”
“Maggie was great! Sent a message when she got here. Took Dorothy on a nice walk. Let me know when she dropped her off. And took pics of Dorothy on the walk. Will be contacting her again!”

About: Excited to return to Rover! I've owned and surrounded myself with dogs (and other pets) my entire life and love it! My pups are my best friends and adventure buddies. Friends and family often call on me to help care for and train their canine friends or for advice because of my experience from working with various temperaments and behaviors. I also used to foster dogs and plan to return to that at some point. I love all breeds, ages, and sizes and find they all have unique personalities, just like people! I provide much love and attention, but know when to be a stern pack leader to keep everyone safe and in check! I use positive reinforcement and correction/redirection over discipline and I believe more exercise and encouragement can make most dogs a "good dog." Dogs tend to love me and are responsive to my leadership style. I currently work per diem and part-time so my schedule is often flexible and I love to fill my down time with furry friends I find the most critical care to be love, pats & praise, and structure & consistency. When it comes to others’ pets, I want to provide individualized care that is consistent with their daily life, so I try to incorporate owners’ standards and parenting styles. I recognize consistency is key to communicate with dogs and reduce their stress. Let me know how to accommodate you and your pet.

About: Hi. My name is Caitlyn and I recently moved to Newburyport. I’m originally from Salem, Mass. I’ve lived on the Northshore all of my life. I adore all the beautiful dogs and cats around here and would love to help if anyone needs a walker/sitter. I have loved animals my entire life and since I was a child, I’ve had a couple of different dogs over the years and was always the primary caregiver to them. Currently, i have just one, my mini dachshund, Ms. Vada. I recently lost my beautiful 18 year old cat Tinkerbell who I have had since she was 6 months old. I miss her so much. I’m reliable, super empathetic, responsible, punctual, honest, and treat pets like humans! I’m kind, helpful, and funny too. I’m able to follow directions and will care for your pet just as you tell me to do. I assure your expectations will be met. If asked to board in your home, I will treat your property as if my own with the utmost respect and care. I will be sure to keep your pets comfortable in their space and care for any other requests you may have. I’ve worked in peoples homes before and have always had nothing but happy, grateful employers who trusted me. I would love the opportunity to help care for your pet, providing you with the reassurance that I truly do care with the utmost love 💕 and kindness ! I have references and am able to answer any questions you may have. I look forward to meeting your fur baby or fur babies! I’m currently available full time right now. I can help mornings, afternoons, and evenings. I’m responsible, reliable, and compassionate. I am working from home right now, therefore my schedule is very flexible at the time. I live in a complex type community and have a perfect little route I walk my dog within the property, however, she generally pulls the leash towards the beach and sometimes we go off our path and I follow her lead. (She’s spoiled!) I love going to the dog park, to the beach, or random trails on the Northshore where she can have a bit more freedom and run “free.” My dog is friendly and generally gets along with all other dogs. She’s a little love bug.

Eleanor was great. She took care of our Pepper for one day, giving her two walks and feeding her when she came by for the second walk. Very responsible and easy to communicate with. She found a tick on Pepper and removed it for us. Highly recommended to other dog owners.
