Hi there! I’ve been working with animals for many years and can honestly say it’s my greatest passion. I started out working under someone as a professional dog walker and pet sitter, then decided to branch out and build my own business about two years ago. I previously used Rover for a short time and loved it so I was excited to be back and meeting new clients again! I’ve also worked at a cat shelter when I was 14 which was my very first animal job and eventually at a veterinary clinic, gaining valuable hands-on experience. Over the years, I’ve cared for pets of all kinds: dogs, cats, bunnies, birds, reptiles, fish, and even chickens. I’m experienced in administering and injecting medications, as well as caring for senior pets and animals with special needs. I also have lots of puppy care experience. At home, I have a happy little crew — one dog, two cats (who are all best friends) and a group of fish! I’m certified in dog and cat CPR and first aid, so you can always feel confident your pets are in safe, loving hands. I make sure to send lots of photo updates so you can see how your pets are doing while you’re away.

Janine was so great with my pups. My one dog can be iffy on new people and she was so comforting to him that he absolutely loved her. She handled them both so well and was very good at communicating throughout the entire visit. Will definitely book with her again!
Janine did a wonderful job taking care of our dogs and cats while we were away. She really loves animals and it shows by how happy all of ours were when we got home. I'm so happy to have found Janine and will definitely book her for future trips.
Janine always takes such good care of my crazy rescue dog. He doesn’t always like people but he absolutely LOVES Janine and gets so excited when he knows she’s coming.
Janine was available for a last minute request to care for our cat. She hasn’t provided care for him before but figured out his autofeeder and was even able to snap some photos of Tex. He’s very shy but I know was happy to have her check on him. As always she provided outstanding and reliable care ❤️

Schedule
I’m a full time dog walker and petter sitter with a wonderful group of regular clients and I’m currently looking to add some more, especially new local dog walking clients! I walk several dogs throughout the week, but my schedule is flexible and I’m happy to work with you to find a time that fits both of our routines. I also offer drop-in visits and overnight stays on a first come-first serve basis, and I can reserve dates with enough notice! My calendar is always up to date, so you can easily see what days and time slots are still open. I’m available seven days a week, including weekends and select holidays. If you’re looking for a dependable, caring walker and sitter who truly loves what she does, feel free to reach out — I’d love to meet your pets!

I prioritize safety, communication, and consistency. I follow feeding and medication instructions exactly, monitor behavior, and make sure pets stay active, comfortable, and stress-free. I always make sure to give them lots of attention too. I’m respectful of your home, tidy up after myself and the pets, and send detailed updates so you always know what’s going on.
Pets
A typical day
A typical day with me is all about keeping your pet happy, stimulated, and loved. For pups, that might look like walks throughout the day, plenty of sniffing time, a few rounds of fetch, and exploring different nearby trails or even a beach trip. For cats, I love interactive play with toys — wand teasers, lasers, you name it — and giving them lots of space to come to me when they feel comfortable. Nothing makes me happier than earning a good purr from a kitty. No matter the pet, I always follow their routine to the best of my ability and make sure they get affection, enrichment, and calm downtime.
