“Donna and Roland couldn’t have been nicer to our dog. They were very warm and attentive to him and treated him as if he were their own. When he arrived for his stay with them he was on an antibiotic for a gingival problem and they were very responsible regarding his meds. We could not have asked for better care. Unfortunately our dog did not get along with their cat or we would be re-booking with them”

“I knew when meeting Mike and his wife that Sasha would be in good hands. When picking her up, Sasha came to the door totally relaxed so I was sure she had been comfortable and not stressed other than getting used to being in a new situation. Very happy and grateful for the experience.”

“Monty's stay with Felicia was great! She provided us with lots of updates along the way, and we felt like he was in very safe hands. Our puppy came home happy and relaxed, and it was adorable at pickup seeing how much Felicia and her kids enjoyed having him there ❤️”

“This was the first time I've had to use a dog sitter outside of my family/friend group, and I felt super comfortable leaving my small dog with Denise. She provided updates and took very good care of my baby. Would totally go with her again.”

“AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA+++++++++++++++++++ Robert and his wife treat my Dog Coco like family. She had a blast. Coco played constantly, and she went for rides in the car. Coco needed special food and Robert made sure she ate properly. Coco also slept with their Dog Milo. I have never seen her sleep with another pet. Robert and his wife even let Coco sleep with them !!!! Robert sent me messages and photo's. When I picked up Coco she was happy to see me, having been away from me for 8 days, as she has separation anxiety, and was not stressed at all. When Coco and I were leaving, Robert said wait and kissed Coco goodbye !! :) As a pet owner nothing feels better than knowing your pets is in loving hands. I am so grateful I found Robert and his wife on Rover.com. Would recommend Robert a million times over. Thank you so much Robert and Kathi so much. !!!!!!!!!!!”

“Our golden doodle loved his stay so much I think he was disappointed we didn’t stay away longer. Her golden retrievers gave him pals to chase around her shady backyard. We are thrilled with Sylvia and hope to use her again soon!”

“Kathy took great care of Vigo on our weekend away. We received videos throughout his stay showing him getting cuddles and playtime with the other pups. Highly recommend her as a boarder.”

“Lindsay is so friendly and truly cares about the well-being of the animals she cares for. She went above and beyond to ensure our anxious pup gets the extra care she needs. I would highly recommend her. It's so comforting knowing your fur baby is in good hands!”

“Felicia took great care of my Bernese Mountain Dog, Bailey, during her overnight stay. She was very flexible, easy to communicate with, and made the whole experience stress-free. I had no complaints and would definitely trust her with Bailey again!”

“Kristen and Bobby took excellent care of our dog Lenny. Lenny and their dog got along great, and Kristen and Bobby followed our instructions perfectly. I would highly recommend!”

“Phydeau stayed for two nights. He’s old and had much medical care involved in his stay including pills and ear care which was all attended to so well. He came home happy and well cared for. He loves going to Michael’s!”

“Rose was great with Gizmo! She sent me lots of pictures and updates and you can tell she takes care of each dog depending on their personality/preferences. He had a great time boarding there.”

About: We provide a calm, loving, and personalized environment for one household at a time. Our home is currently pet free, which allows us to give each dog our full attention in a peaceful and low stress setting. Since there are usually two adults at home and one of us works a hybrid schedule, there is almost always someone home to provide companionship, supervision, affection, playtime, and frequent potty breaks throughout the day. Dogs have always been an important part of our lives, and caring for them is something we genuinely love and enjoy. We understand how important it is for dogs to feel safe, comfortable, and emotionally secure when away from their family. Having experienced life with our own beloved dog through every stage of life, including senior care and medical needs, we understand how important patience, routine, comfort, and trust truly are. We have experience caring for dogs with different personalities, energy levels, and routines, and we truly enjoy spending quality time with them through play, affection, walks, and companionship. Because we only host one family at a time, we are able to create a more relaxed and personalized experience where dogs can receive individual attention and feel more at home. We also value communication and know how reassuring updates can be while away from your pet, so we always strive to provide regular updates, photos, and attentive care throughout each stay. We highly value meet and greets beforehand to help ensure that our home is the right fit and that each dog feels comfortable, safe, and welcomed. We are happy to communicate in either English or Spanish to help families feel as comfortable as possible. Pet care fits very naturally into our daily routine since our schedules allow for someone to usually be home throughout the day. This allows us to provide frequent supervision, companionship, potty breaks, playtime, affection, and consistent attention during each stay. We enjoy maintaining a calm and structured environment where dogs can feel comfortable, relaxed, and part of the family. We understand that every dog has different routines, personalities, and comfort levels, so we do our best to help them feel safe, settled, and emotionally comfortable while away from home. Because we only host one household at a time, we are able to dedicate more individualized care, quality time, attention, and companionship to each dog throughout the day. Safety, supervision, and communication are very important to us. We are very mindful of each dog’s routine, comfort level, feeding schedule, potty schedule, exercise needs, and any instructions provided by their family. We understand that every dog adjusts differently to new environments, so we always try to create a positive and comfortable transition while respecting their personality, boundaries, and pace. We also value consistency and communication, and we make sure pet parents receive regular updates and photos throughout each stay so they can feel reassured while away. Before confirming a booking, we highly value meet and greets to help ensure that our home is the right fit and that everyone feels comfortable, safe, and confident moving forward.
“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Krystyna & Sara G. were absolutely amazing with my mini Goldendoodle, Hazel! From the moment I dropped her off, I knew she was in caring and capable hands. They provided excellent communication throughout her stay, including updates and photos that gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. Hazel came home happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. It was obvious that Krystyna and Sara treated her like part of their family, giving her plenty of attention, affection, and care. They went above and beyond to make sure all of her needs were met and that she felt comfortable and loved. I would highly recommend Krystyna & Sara G. to anyone looking for trustworthy, responsible, and compassionate pet sitters. Thank you both for taking such wonderful care of Hazel—I will definitely be booking with you again! 🐾❤️”

“Laura took such great care of our dogs and was very kind to accommodate us on short notice! She truly “gets” dogs and her understanding of how to introduce dogs to one another insured that ours had a peaceful visit!”

About: Hi there! I’ve been working with animals for many years and can honestly say it’s my greatest passion. I started out working under someone as a professional dog walker and pet sitter, then decided to branch out and build my own business about two years ago. I previously used Rover for a short time and loved it so I was excited to be back and meeting new clients again! I’ve also worked at a cat shelter when I was 14 which was my very first animal job and eventually at a veterinary clinic, gaining valuable hands-on experience. Over the years, I’ve cared for pets of all kinds: dogs, cats, bunnies, birds, reptiles, fish, and even chickens. I’m experienced in administering and injecting medications, as well as caring for senior pets and animals with special needs. I also have lots of puppy care experience. At home, I have a happy little crew — one dog, two cats (who are all best friends) and a group of fish! I’m certified in dog and cat CPR and first aid, so you can always feel confident your pets are in safe, loving hands. I make sure to send lots of photo updates so you can see how your pets are doing while you’re away. I’m a full time dog walker and petter sitter with a wonderful group of regular clients and I’m currently looking to add some more, especially new local dog walking clients! I walk several dogs throughout the week, but my schedule is flexible and I’m happy to work with you to find a time that fits both of our routines. I also offer drop-in visits and overnight stays on a first come-first serve basis, and I can reserve dates with enough notice! My calendar is always up to date, so you can easily see what days and time slots are still open. I’m available seven days a week, including weekends and select holidays. If you’re looking for a dependable, caring walker and sitter who truly loves what she does, feel free to reach out — I’d love to meet your pets! I prioritize safety, communication, and consistency. I follow feeding and medication instructions exactly, monitor behavior, and make sure pets stay active, comfortable, and stress-free. I always make sure to give them lots of attention too. I’m respectful of your home, tidy up after myself and the pets, and send detailed updates so you always know what’s going on.
“Daniela took amazing care of Dobby while we were away. She sent great updates and from each picture and video it was easy to tell that Dobby was having a great time playing in the yard and hanging out with Daniela and her family. Glad Dobby was able to be with a safe and caring family while we were gone!”

“Our cat Lily loved Corinne and so did we! She has the sensitivity needed to work with animals. She was very responsible, communicative, and I swear that our place was cleaner than we left it! She has earned our trust and will always be our first choice for cat sitter in Rochester.”

“Linda is fabulous! It was a very last minute request. She was able to meet that day and took such good care of kitty while I was away. Gave me peace of mind! Thanks so much Linda!”

“We loved Janine & so did our kitty boy. She was absolutely the best and went above and beyond to give my cat extra love & attention while she was there. We will definitely rebook with Janine in the future! 😊”

“Laura was absolutely phenomenal! She sent awesome pictures and updates every day and I knew my pets were in such good hands. I absolutely plan to book her services again and again. Nothing better than coming home to such happy animals 🩷 thanks again Laura!”

“Teresa was great!! We received detailed reports with photos after each visit. Pepper is very shy but Teresa tried her best to make her feel comfortable during her visits. Would definitely recommend and use her services again!”

About: If you’re looking for someone who is responsible, reliable, and a clear communicator, I’m your gal! I grew up with lots of critters in the house and have especially loved cats since I was a kid! My current fur-babies include a feisty 3 year old siamese and a sweet little tabby boy who just turned one. I love animals and am excited to meet some new kitty friends! I have experience with kittens as well as older cats. I’m happy to take care of feeding and watering, cleaning up messes, scooping the litter box, handling medication and giving lots of cuddles and chin scritches! 💖 I will gladly send you photo and video updates of your sweet kitty with a detailed description of my visit. It’s my number one priority that you have peace of mind every time I drop in! A little about me: I own my own business and work from home so my schedule is very flexible. I’m willing to consider boarding/overnight housesitting for repeat clients upon request! I’m available for drop-ins from 8am-7pm Monday-Friday (weekends available upon request). If you need me to stop by outside my availability I can usually make it work, just ask! I’d love to know more about what makes your cat happy, their favorite toys, treats, and any quirks that make them unique (for example: things that stress them out, food serving preferences, or common hiding spots). Please share if they’re on any meds or need special treatment so I can prepare in advance. I look forward to connecting with you!

“Great job with my elderly cats that need a little more TLC than in their younger days. Adele was prompt for all of her pet sitting times and made sure to send pictures to update me on them each visit. She fed them and gave them medication as needed and. I will have her watch my cats again next time I’m away!”

“Karen was fantastic! We appreciated the attention she gave our cats, the pictures and her updates. Having our fur babies cared for was the most important thing we needed to enjoy our vacation. Thank you Karen!”

About: I've had cats for most of my life and am very comfortable caring for them. I know every cat has its own personality, and I enjoy getting to know what makes each one unique. I've cared for my own cats as well as cats belonging to friends and family, helping with feeding, litter boxes, playtime, and making sure they're comfortable while their owners are away. I especially enjoy earning a cat's trust and working with them on their terms. I've even trained my own cats to do tricks and respond to commands using positive reinforcement. Whether your cat is outgoing and wants attention or prefers a quieter approach, I'm happy to adapt to what makes them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for.

“Stephanie has become our trusted caretaker for Pepper when we are out of town. She is great at sending daily updates and goes above and beyond to take good care of Pepper, who is usually one to keep to herself but comes out from hiding to see Stephanie when she comes over!”

“Nicole is absolutely wonderful! The regular updates, adorable photos, and thoughtful gestures put our minds at ease while we were away. We returned home to three happy fur babies, thanks to the exceptional care. She was very patient with them as two were rescues and can be very reactive but they were comfortable with her by the end of the visit. We definitely recommend Nicole to anyone seeking trustworthy, loving dog care!”

“Christine was a huge help in taking care of my two cats while I traveled for a weekend. She even came by the day before I left to meet them and make sure I was comfortable with her in my home. I really appreciated her transparent and warm demeanor and will definitely reach back out the next time I travel!”

“Gracie seemed to love Mike at first sight! And the feeling was mutual. Mike gives great communication all around, his lovely home and enclosed yard is the perfect setting for my high energy pup.”

“Rose has been great for us and more importantly for Roy this week. She has a great location that allows for plenty of outdoor activity and has a friendly dog of her own that loves to play. This was perfect for our Doberman puppy. Highly recommended”

“Shelby is great and I feel Tory is taken care of when she is there. She is a plus for us when we go to Amesbury to visit daughters & grandkids as they live a mile from Shelby and if we go out where dogs aren’t allowed Rory doesn’t have to stay alone bc Shelby is so close.”

“Mac had a wonderful day with Robert and his pups. He had never been to a dog sitter before so we were a bit anxious about leaving him. We had a meet and greet before the day visit and when Mac got to Bob’s house on the day of the visit, Mac remembered that it was a place with people that he liked. Bob’s updates through the day made us rest easy that Mac was being well cared for. We loved the report card and pictures that we got at the end of the visit. We look forward to our next booking with Bob.”

“Julie was great. Offered a quick meetup to get Betsy Lou acquainted which was perfect. The next day, Betsy Lou went right up to her tail wagging. I was very comfortable leaving her with Julie. Everything in was smooth and easy, and most of all my dog loved Julie and her family!”

“Kristin and Bobby watched our dog with a last minute call when we were vacationing in the Boston area. When we took our dog in the morning they came out to meet us and made sure that our dog was comfortable with them and their home. Our dog took right to both them and their dog. During the day my dog was exercised, fed and played with. I was very happy with our experience and would highly recommend them if you need a dog sitter.”

“Our Tasha had a full day with Kat and her adorable Reggie. Kat was very flexible, thoughtful, and accommodating. I would definitely recommend her service. Thank you for taking her out on the beach! She had a blast!”

About: Dogs, and Cats aren’t just pets in my home—they’re family! My twin brother and I have had dogs our whole lives, and we’re absolutely obsessed with them. In our house, your pup will be surrounded by love, care, and constant attention. Since most of my classes are online, my brother works night shifts, and my husband works during the day, there’s always someone home to make sure your furry friend is safe, happy, and cared for 24/7. I feel so lucky to have their support because, let’s be real—life loves to throw surprises our way! But no matter what, your pup will always be in good hands. And if you ask my family, they’d say they’re totally jealous because I get to spend the most time with the doggies! 🐾💖 From fun walks to cozy snuggles, I make sure every dog feels right at home while their humans are away. I can’t wait to meet your fur baby and give them all the love they deserve! Having transitioned from a career in law to pursuing my passion in nursing school, I now have a flexible schedule with most of my classes being remote. This allows me ample time to dedicate to your pups, ensuring they receive plenty of play and care. In Brazil, I had four dogs who are now happily living with my parents. Here in the U.S., I have my sweet mini Goldendoodle, Madalena, who is very friendly and loves having company. On Sundays and Mondays, I’m off from work and available all day for boarding, daycare, and other services. Your dog’s safety and comfort always come first. I offer a calm, clean, and cozy home environment where pets can relax, play, and feel secure. My mini Goldendoodle, Madalena, is very friendly and gentle, which helps visiting dogs feel more comfortable and welcomed. Whether your pet stays in my home or I care for them in yours, I always follow their routine exactly as instructed—feeding, walks, potty breaks, playtime, and rest. I’m very attentive to body language and behavior to make sure each dog feels safe, respected, and stress-free. I provide constant supervision when I’m home, lots of love and positive interaction, and a peaceful space where dogs can settle in comfortably. My goal is to make every pet feel like part of the family.
“FROM OLIVER'S POINT OF VIEW IT WAS PERFECT. ANN WAS KIND ENOUGH TO EMAIL A PHOTO OF HER DOG AND OUR DOG RELAXING IN HER HOUSE. WE MET THE DAY BEFORE ON THE BEACH IN HAMPTON TO INTRODUCE THE DOGS. I'M MOST GRATEFUL TO ANN, HER HUSBAND, AND ROVER FOR MAKING IT POSSIBLE FOR US TO ATTEND OUR GRANDSON'S WEDDING.”

“So very thankful for Janine!! I was caught at the last minute needing a dog walker and she responded almost immediately and was able to help me out! My dog seemed to absolutely love his time with her and relaxed/snoozed quite contently in his crate afterwards. Definitely recommend!”

“Charles & Teresa went above and beyond to walk my dog Lilly while I was attending a memorial service for my friend. I drove down from Maine, met them at the cemetery, and they entertained Lilly while I participated in the service. It was so appreciated! I was afraid I wouldn't be able to find anyone to walk Lilly since I would not be a repeat client but they were willing and eager to help.”

About: Hello! I have been caring for pets since I was a child. I have always had my own cats, dogs, rabbits, and even a hamster. I have a love and passion for caring for animals, so much so that I received my Bachelors Degree in Veterinary Sciences! I have experience working with all types of pets and I enjoy taking care of your fur babies <3. I can easily fit pet care into my schedule. I am a stay at home mom and enjoy spending time caring for animals 🫶🏼. I am available whenever you need me! I have a fenced in yard and would treat your pets with love, as if they were my own. “Maggie is great! Very calm, reliable, and a great communicator. And ... our dog gets excited when she arrives (which isn't true for everyone), so she is a great fit and we feel so comfortable when we know Maggie is with our dog!”

“Nikki was absolutely amazing! She went above and beyond caring for my dog Enzo—even bringing him homemade treats. He usually takes a long time to warm up to new sitters, but he bonded with Nikki right away. She's always on time and was great at communicating throughout, including providing great photos from each visit. I highly recommend booking her!”
About: Donna and I started taking care of dogs when we lost our Chesapeake Bay Retriever, Dutchin. We got her when she was 3 months old and she was our baby. When she crossed the Rainbow Bridge, we couldn't bring ourselves to get another dog, but wanted to still experience the joy that dogs bring to our lives. We decided to provide both care and a safe, loving home for other people's pets while their humans are away or otherwise unable to care for them short-term. This way, we can give you peace of mind in knowing your best friend is safe and happy, and we get to interact with all kinds of dogs, which gives us great joy! Your friend will get all the love and attention you give them; and, well, if we spoil them a bit too much, sorry (not sorry)! We are both retired, so we have plenty of time to care for your pets whether in our home or yours. We are available for walks, drop in visits and overnight boarding in our home. When boarding with us, your fur baby will never be alone as someone is always home. We have a large fenced-in yard where your dog can run and play off leash safely. Are your pets used to making themselves at home on the couch? Not a problem! They are more than welcome to snuggle up on ours. If you wish to make your pet a little more at home, you may bring your pet's bed, toys and/or crate.
About: I have had pets of all kinds my entire life, to which I have been trusted to take care of them. I have experience pet sitting for family and friends, though most of my pet experience has come from my personal pets. My dad is also a K9 officer and dog trainer, which has given me a lot of experience being around big dogs and seeing how to take care of dogs. I am currently on summer break from college, so I have a lot of time on my hands to spend with furry friends! I don’t have any significant schedule barriers at the moment! I can easily follow and meet any specific needs of your home or pets. I have experience caring for all kinds of pets, including those with special needs, so I can absolutely cater my care to any individual pet!
“Evan was amazing with Cooper. He was very caring and when Cooper got home he was smiling and had the zoomies he was so happy. Evan is incredible!!!! Thank you Evan. We will be calling you again!”

About: I've been around animals my whole life. I grew up with dogs, and these days I'm often the person friends and family call when they need someone to look after their pets. I've spent plenty of time walking dogs, feeding them, playing with them, and making sure they're well cared for while their owners are away. I'm comfortable with dogs of all sizes, including larger, high-energy breeds. I enjoy getting to know each animal's personality and building trust with them. I've even trained my own cats to do tricks and respond to commands using positive reinforcement. Taking care of animals is something I genuinely enjoy, and I take the responsibility seriously because I know how much people's pets mean to them. Pet care fits naturally into my routine. I work from home on Mondays and Fridays, which gives me the flexibility to provide walks, drop-in visits, and pet care throughout the day. Outside of work, taking care of animals has always been a regular part of my life, whether that's spending time with my own pets or helping friends and family with theirs. Because I work a consistent schedule and plan my time carefully, I can be reliable and punctual when it comes to pet care. I enjoy getting outside for walks and spending time with animals, so it's something I genuinely look forward to rather than trying to squeeze into a busy schedule. I try to keep things as close to the pet's normal routine as possible. When I'm caring for a pet in their home, I follow the owner's instructions and make sure they're getting everything they need, whether that's walks, meals, playtime, medications, or just some company while their owner is away. I pay attention to each animal's personality and body language and adjust my approach accordingly. Some pets want lots of attention and activity, while others are happier with a quieter approach and a little extra patience. I'm comfortable with both. Safety is always important to me. I make sure doors, gates, and leashes are secure, and I keep an eye out for anything that seems out of the ordinary. My goal is to make sure pets are comfortable, well cared for, and as stress-free as possible while their owners are away. I make sure that I'm always available, and communication is a huge priority for me
About: Excited to return to Rover! I've owned and surrounded myself with dogs (and other pets) my entire life and love it! My pups are my best friends and adventure buddies. Friends and family often call on me to help care for and train their canine friends or for advice because of my experience from working with various temperaments and behaviors. I also used to foster dogs and plan to return to that at some point. I love all breeds, ages, and sizes and find they all have unique personalities, just like people! I provide much love and attention, but know when to be a stern pack leader to keep everyone safe and in check! I use positive reinforcement and correction/redirection over discipline and I believe more exercise and encouragement can make most dogs a "good dog." Dogs tend to love me and are responsive to my leadership style. I currently work per diem and part-time so my schedule is often flexible and I love to fill my down time with furry friends I find the most critical care to be love, pats & praise, and structure & consistency. When it comes to others’ pets, I want to provide individualized care that is consistent with their daily life, so I try to incorporate owners’ standards and parenting styles. I recognize consistency is key to communicate with dogs and reduce their stress. Let me know how to accommodate you and your pet.

Glad Dobby was able to be with a safe and caring family while we were gone!”
