“I recently left my Boston Terrier, Mia, with Donna and John during my vacation to Sicily for 11 days. Had not used them before, but after our initial meet and greet I felt confident they both had Mia’s best interest in mind and they genuinely love taking care of dogs! I was able to relax while gone and knew Mia was in a good place and having fun. Will definitely use John and Donna again !”

“This was the first time I've had to use a dog sitter outside of my family/friend group, and I felt super comfortable leaving my small dog with Denise. She provided updates and took very good care of my baby. Would totally go with her again.”

“This was our first time leaving our two dogs with Bob and his wife, Cathy. They were great! True animal lovers. We felt very comfortable leaving Abbie & Tucker with them. They sent texts and pictures while we were away. We could tell that they were very well cared for and maybe even a little spoiled :) We will definitely call on them again for our next get-a-way.... Thank you Bob and Cathy!”

“This was our first long term boarding with Julie S. and it could not have gone better. Julie and her family were so attentive and loving towards Benji. The daily reports and pictures were very reassuring. There’s nothing more welcome than feeling like your pet is in good hands while you’re away.”

About: We provide a calm, loving, and personalized environment for one household at a time. Our home is currently pet free, which allows us to give each dog our full attention in a peaceful and low stress setting. Since there are usually two adults at home and one of us works a hybrid schedule, there is almost always someone home to provide companionship, supervision, affection, playtime, and frequent potty breaks throughout the day. Dogs have always been an important part of our lives, and caring for them is something we genuinely love and enjoy. We understand how important it is for dogs to feel safe, comfortable, and emotionally secure when away from their family. Having experienced life with our own beloved dog through every stage of life, including senior care and medical needs, we understand how important patience, routine, comfort, and trust truly are. We have experience caring for dogs with different personalities, energy levels, and routines, and we truly enjoy spending quality time with them through play, affection, walks, and companionship. Because we only host one family at a time, we are able to create a more relaxed and personalized experience where dogs can receive individual attention and feel more at home. We also value communication and know how reassuring updates can be while away from your pet, so we always strive to provide regular updates, photos, and attentive care throughout each stay. We highly value meet and greets beforehand to help ensure that our home is the right fit and that each dog feels comfortable, safe, and welcomed. We are happy to communicate in either English or Spanish to help families feel as comfortable as possible. Pet care fits very naturally into our daily routine since our schedules allow for someone to usually be home throughout the day. This allows us to provide frequent supervision, companionship, potty breaks, playtime, affection, and consistent attention during each stay. We enjoy maintaining a calm and structured environment where dogs can feel comfortable, relaxed, and part of the family. We understand that every dog has different routines, personalities, and comfort levels, so we do our best to help them feel safe, settled, and emotionally comfortable while away from home. Because we only host one household at a time, we are able to dedicate more individualized care, quality time, attention, and companionship to each dog throughout the day. Safety, supervision, and communication are very important to us. We are very mindful of each dog’s routine, comfort level, feeding schedule, potty schedule, exercise needs, and any instructions provided by their family. We understand that every dog adjusts differently to new environments, so we always try to create a positive and comfortable transition while respecting their personality, boundaries, and pace. We also value consistency and communication, and we make sure pet parents receive regular updates and photos throughout each stay so they can feel reassured while away. Before confirming a booking, we highly value meet and greets to help ensure that our home is the right fit and that everyone feels comfortable, safe, and confident moving forward.

“From our very first meeting, I could tell Sylwia was special! She took so much time and care to get to know our pup Lucy, understand her, and ensure that Lucy would be comfortable and successful during her stay with Sylwia. She was incredibly thoughtful and overall provided a fantastic experience- sending updates throughout the day, making sure that we are comfortable as well. Would absolutely recommend Sylwia!”

“Kristen and Bobby took excellent care of our dog Lenny. Lenny and their dog got along great, and Kristen and Bobby followed our instructions perfectly. I would highly recommend!”

“Fantastic sitter! Very responsible and straightforward. Communication was smooth and clear throughout the stay, and I appreciated getting daily photo updates. I felt completely at ease knowing my dog was in great hands. Highly recommend!”

“Krystyna and Sara were AMAZING. They took care of my 2 dogs for a long weekend when I had to go away for a family funeral. I was already anxious about leaving them with someone new and they went above and beyond. They sent pictures and messages throughout the day. One of my dogs was having a paw issue with his nail and they took care of him and all the needs that came along with it. I will be recommending them to everyone I know and will for sure book with them again!!”

“Phydeau stayed for two nights. He’s old and had much medical care involved in his stay including pills and ear care which was all attended to so well. He came home happy and well cared for. He loves going to Michael’s!”

“Rose was great with Gizmo! She sent me lots of pictures and updates and you can tell she takes care of each dog depending on their personality/preferences. He had a great time boarding there.”

“Daniela and her family were great sitters. Lots of communication including videos and pics, which we loved. They were also patient and generous with our (often) rambunctious puppy. Highly recommend.”

About: Hi there! I’ve been working with animals for many years and can honestly say it’s my greatest passion. I started out working under someone as a professional dog walker and pet sitter, then decided to branch out and build my own business about two years ago. I previously used Rover for a short time and loved it so I was excited to be back and meeting new clients again! I’ve also worked at a cat shelter when I was 14 which was my very first animal job and eventually at a veterinary clinic, gaining valuable hands-on experience. Over the years, I’ve cared for pets of all kinds: dogs, cats, bunnies, birds, reptiles, fish, and even chickens. I’m experienced in administering and injecting medications, as well as caring for senior pets and animals with special needs. I also have lots of puppy care experience. At home, I have a happy little crew — one dog, two cats (who are all best friends) and a group of fish! I’m certified in dog and cat CPR and first aid, so you can always feel confident your pets are in safe, loving hands. I make sure to send lots of photo updates so you can see how your pets are doing while you’re away. I’m a full time dog walker and petter sitter with a wonderful group of regular clients and I’m currently looking to add some more, especially new local dog walking clients! I walk several dogs throughout the week, but my schedule is flexible and I’m happy to work with you to find a time that fits both of our routines. I also offer drop-in visits and overnight stays on a first come-first serve basis, and I can reserve dates with enough notice! My calendar is always up to date, so you can easily see what days and time slots are still open. I’m available seven days a week, including weekends and select holidays. If you’re looking for a dependable, caring walker and sitter who truly loves what she does, feel free to reach out — I’d love to meet your pets! I prioritize safety, communication, and consistency. I follow feeding and medication instructions exactly, monitor behavior, and make sure pets stay active, comfortable, and stress-free. I always make sure to give them lots of attention too. I’m respectful of your home, tidy up after myself and the pets, and send detailed updates so you always know what’s going on.
“Our experience with Shelby was great. We met for a meet and greet the weekend prior to us going away. We got pictures and updates while we were away and those helped to put our mind at ease (it was Griffin’s first time staying with anyone outside of our family). We would recommend Shelby to our family and friends and will certainly use her services again.”

“I'm delighted to share my experience with Mercis, who truly went above and beyond to ensure Sherlock felt at home. From multiple walks, playtime, and genuine care made all the difference. Thanks to the extraordinary effort and exceptional care… our dog returned happy, relaxed, and clearly well-loved. Highly recommend!”

“Lindsay is so friendly and truly cares about the well-being of the animals she cares for. She went above and beyond to ensure our anxious pup gets the extra care she needs. I would highly recommend her. It's so comforting knowing your fur baby is in good hands!”

“We cannot recommend Laura enough! She watched our cat Pancakes for a week while we were out of the country, and we felt completely at ease the entire time. She was punctual and reliable — always there exactly when expected. What really won us over was how patient and attentive she was with Pancakes throughout the week. Our girl is on the shy side, but Laura took the time to play with her and by the end she had completely come out of her shell. Pancakes was in wonderful hands, and we will absolutely be booking Laura again!”

“Our cat Lily loved Corinne and so did we! She has the sensitivity needed to work with animals. She was very responsible, communicative, and I swear that our place was cleaner than we left it! She has earned our trust and will always be our first choice for cat sitter in Rochester.”

“Terry left thorough, even funny, updates about our cat while we were gone for a long trip. I felt confident that our pet and our home were safe in her care. My daughter will be laughing about the mystery of the missing cat treats for a long, long time! Many thanks, Terry!”

“We loved Janine & so did our kitty boy. She was absolutely the best and went above and beyond to give my cat extra love & attention while she was there. We will definitely rebook with Janine in the future! 😊”

About: If you’re looking for someone who is responsible, reliable, and a clear communicator, I’m your gal! I grew up with lots of critters in the house and have especially loved cats since I was a kid! My current fur-babies include a feisty 3 year old siamese and a sweet little tabby boy who just turned one. I love animals and am excited to meet some new kitty friends! I have experience with kittens as well as older cats. I’m happy to take care of feeding and watering, cleaning up messes, scooping the litter box, handling medication and giving lots of cuddles and chin scritches! 💖 I will gladly send you photo and video updates of your sweet kitty with a detailed description of my visit. It’s my number one priority that you have peace of mind every time I drop in! A little about me: I own my own business and work from home so my schedule is very flexible. I’m willing to consider boarding/overnight housesitting for repeat clients upon request! I’m available for drop-ins from 8am-7pm Monday-Friday (weekends available upon request). If you need me to stop by outside my availability I can usually make it work, just ask! I’d love to know more about what makes your cat happy, their favorite toys, treats, and any quirks that make them unique (for example: things that stress them out, food serving preferences, or common hiding spots). Please share if they’re on any meds or need special treatment so I can prepare in advance. I look forward to connecting with you!
“Karen provided excellent care for our cats while we were away. She provided prompt and complete updates after each visit and made us feel confident that our pets were in good hands. Karen took the time to meet us and our pets ahead of time to ensure that everything went smoothly and was very easy to deal with. I would highly recommend her.”

About: I have been surrounded by pets since I can remember! My family has had two black labs that I grew up with and my neighbors/friends/relatives have relied on me to feed, watch and care for their dogs as well. My college roommates and I fostered a cat for about three months before he was adopted and absolutely loved the experience. I am unable to own a pet right now because I recently graduated college and will be returning to school in the next few years, but I cherish any time I can get with animals because I miss having them around! I am currently working full-time (8-5) as a medical assistant and will be available for evening care during the week and all-day & night care on the weekends. I provide reliable and attentive care for pets in my client's home! I maintain their normal routine, feeding them and taking them outside on their schedule to make sure they are as comfortable as possible with me. I pay attention to specific needs, medications and instructions for care. I will make sure the pet receives love and attention, and also be sure to send regular updates to their owner.

“My two cats had a lovely time staying with Laney for a little over 2 weeks. She sent lots of pictures, and even my shy and timid cat came out of his shell for Laney and her roommates. It helped me enjoy vacation more knowing my cats were having a good time too!”

“Samantha helped to drop visit our cats for a week. She was kind and easy to communicate, also was experienced for cat daily care. She even helped us to bring in the packages while we’re away. Appreciate her help and care!”

“Great job with my elderly cats that need a little more TLC than in their younger days. Adele was prompt for all of her pet sitting times and made sure to send pictures to update me on them each visit. She fed them and gave them medication as needed and. I will have her watch my cats again next time I’m away!”

“Julie was great. Offered a quick meetup to get Betsy Lou acquainted which was perfect. The next day, Betsy Lou went right up to her tail wagging. I was very comfortable leaving her with Julie. Everything in was smooth and easy, and most of all my dog loved Julie and her family!”

“Mac had a wonderful day with Robert and his pups. He had never been to a dog sitter before so we were a bit anxious about leaving him. We had a meet and greet before the day visit and when Mac got to Bob’s house on the day of the visit, Mac remembered that it was a place with people that he liked. Bob’s updates through the day made us rest easy that Mac was being well cared for. We loved the report card and pictures that we got at the end of the visit. We look forward to our next booking with Bob.”

I can’t wait to meet your fur baby and give them all the love they deserve! About: I’m a licensed veterinarian in Brazil and I’ve been surrounded by dogs my entire life. My father is a huge dog lover, so I grew up helping care for our family pets from a very young age. In Brazil, I had four dogs who are now happily living with my parents. Here in the U.S., I have my sweet mini Goldendoodle, Madalena, who is very friendly and loves having company. Because of my background in Veterinary Medicine and my lifelong experience with dogs of all sizes and personalities, I feel very confident providing safe, responsible, and attentive care. After 3:30 p.m., I’m fully available for pet care, including walks, drop-in visits, and overnight house sitting. On Sundays and Mondays, I’m off from work and available all day for boarding, daycare, and other services. Your dog’s safety and comfort always come first. I offer a calm, clean, and cozy home environment where pets can relax, play, and feel secure. My mini Goldendoodle, Madalena, is very friendly and gentle, which helps visiting dogs feel more comfortable and welcomed. Whether your pet stays in my home or I care for them in yours, I always follow their routine exactly as instructed—feeding, walks, potty breaks, playtime, and rest. I’m very attentive to body language and behavior to make sure each dog feels safe, respected, and stress-free. I provide constant supervision when I’m home, lots of love and positive interaction, and a peaceful space where dogs can settle in comfortably. I am comfortable with dogs of many sizes and ages. I have experience working with senior dogs who require medication and special treatment, as well as puppies who need extra care while they learn the ropes. I work part-time and have an active lifestyle, so I can accommodate long walks during the day or stop by visits on the weekends. I have my own dog, whom I love to bring on off-leash walks multiple times a day, and who is friendly with other animals. I have a small fenced-in backyard, and a small dog who gets along well with others. Our backyard has a door with a handle rather than a doggy door that requires me to let the dogs out and watch them while they play to ensure their ultimate safety.
About: I have had pets of all kinds my entire life, to which I have been trusted to take care of them. I have experience pet sitting for family and friends, though most of my pet experience has come from my personal pets. My dad is also a K9 officer and dog trainer, which has given me a lot of experience being around big dogs and seeing how to take care of dogs. I am currently on summer break from college, so I have a lot of time on my hands to spend with furry friends! I don’t have any significant schedule barriers at the moment! I can easily follow and meet any specific needs of your home or pets. About: Donna and I started taking care of dogs when we lost our Chesapeake Bay Retriever, Dutchin. We got her when she was 3 months old and she was our baby. When she crossed the Rainbow Bridge, we couldn't bring ourselves to get another dog, but wanted to still experience the joy that dogs bring to our lives. We decided to provide both care and a safe, loving home for other people's pets while their humans are away or otherwise unable to care for them short-term. This way, we can give you peace of mind in knowing your best friend is safe and happy, and we get to interact with all kinds of dogs, which gives us great joy! Your friend will get all the love and attention you give them; and, well, if we spoil them a bit too much, sorry (not sorry)! We are both retired, so we have plenty of time to care for your pets whether in our home or yours. We are available for walks, drop in visits and overnight boarding in our home. When boarding with us, your fur baby will never be alone as someone is always home. We have a large fenced-in yard where your dog can run and play off leash safely. Are your pets used to making themselves at home on the couch? Not a problem! They are more than welcome to snuggle up on ours. If you wish to make your pet a little more at home, you may bring your pet's bed, toys and/or crate.
“Maggie is great! Very calm, reliable, and a great communicator. And ... our dog gets excited when she arrives (which isn't true for everyone), so she is a great fit and we feel so comfortable when we know Maggie is with our dog!”

“Robyn was amazing! I was so desperate to have somebody help me with my senior, three legged dog, and Robyn answered my message right away. They had a great walk and Deuce was exhausted!”

“Meaghan was such a big help and I’ll definitely be requesting her again! She sent plenty of photos from the walk and refilled my dog’s bowl without me even asking. I definitely recommend her!”

“Nikki was absolutely amazing! She went above and beyond caring for my dog Enzo—even bringing him homemade treats. He usually takes a long time to warm up to new sitters, but he bonded with Nikki right away. She's always on time and was great at communicating throughout, including providing great photos from each visit. I highly recommend booking her!”
About: Excited to return to Rover! I've owned and surrounded myself with dogs (and other pets) my entire life and love it! My pups are my best friends and adventure buddies. Friends and family often call on me to help care for and train their canine friends or for advice because of my experience from working with various temperaments and behaviors. I also used to foster dogs and plan to return to that at some point. I love all breeds, ages, and sizes and find they all have unique personalities, just like people! I provide much love and attention, but know when to be a stern pack leader to keep everyone safe and in check! I use positive reinforcement and correction/redirection over discipline and I believe more exercise and encouragement can make most dogs a "good dog." Dogs tend to love me and are responsive to my leadership style. I currently work per diem and part-time so my schedule is often flexible and I love to fill my down time with furry friends I find the most critical care to be love, pats & praise, and structure & consistency. When it comes to others’ pets, I want to provide individualized care that is consistent with their daily life, so I try to incorporate owners’ standards and parenting styles. I recognize consistency is key to communicate with dogs and reduce their stress. Let me know how to accommodate you and your pet.

“Felicia was very accommodating and easy to work with which put all my anxiety of leaving my pets behind at ease. My dogs seemed very relaxed at her home and I believe they really enjoyed their stay with her.”

“I have used Kathy’s boarding services twice and each time my dog Tessie has had a very positive experience. I feel that Tessie responds well to Kathy and is happy and healthy in her home.”

“Lindsay is so friendly and truly cares about the well-being of the animals she cares for. She went above and beyond to ensure our anxious pup gets the extra care she needs. I would highly recommend her. It's so comforting knowing your fur baby is in good hands!”

“We had an amazing experience with Laura! She is incredibly reliable, thorough, and trustworthy. From the start, she went above and beyond by meeting us halfway for pickup and drop-off since we live far away, which made things so much easier for us. Throughout our dog’s stay, she kept us updated with pictures and messages, giving us peace of mind knowing our pup was in great hands. We could tell our dog was well cared for and happy. I highly recommend Laura to anyone looking for a responsible and caring sitter!”

“Definitely recommend Faith! This weekend was my dogs first stay and she put my mind at ease from the beginning. She was very responsive and sent many updates through the stay which was great! Even though it was Neelys first stay, faith made me feel so comfortable that he was in great hands.”

About: I can train, give medications and spend lots of time with your furry friends. Im also a cat lover and am experienced with cats, meaning I will be gentle and understanding with them haha. They will get lovely meals and be treated like royalty. I work part time at a jewelry store and I’m also a college student trying her best. My routine isn’t too crazy I do some work on my computer, I take care of the house and assist with pets and pet care. New England is super beautiful but very buggy, I’m an expert when it comes to pulling/repelling bugs off of my dog as well as bathing her. We have a well kept trail about a couple foot steps behind our house as well as lots of yard room for ball playing. We live in a low crime area, with neighbors who also own pets. Retail stores are also close by so if I need to pick up food it will be easy. If your pet also has an emergency, the animal hospital is minutes away.
“I’m so glad I found Stacey to care for my dog. She was Amazing! She provided pictures and updates daily which put my mind at ease. She took such good care of her that I was afraid she wouldn’t want to come home! Truly the BEST! Thank you!!”

About: 🐾 Hi, I’m Efrain—your dog’s new best friend! I’ve been caring for and loving dogs for over 30 years, and honestly, dogs have held some of the most meaningful relationships of my life. I often say (only half-joking!) that I love dogs even more than humans sometimes. Their honesty, loyalty, and pure-hearted energy have been a constant source of joy and grounding for me. I currently share my home with two wonderful dogs of my own, and they absolutely love the company of other pups. They’re social, playful, and gentle—perfect hosts who make visiting dogs feel welcome and part of the pack. Spending time with my furry little kindred sorority is the best part of my day, and caring for dogs isn’t just something I do—it’s truly a way of life. 🐶 What Your Dog Can Expect ✔️ A calm, safe, loving environment ✔️ Friendly canine companions (my two pups!) ✔️ Lots of affection, attention, and individualized care ✔️ A caregiver and famiky who treats every dog like family If you’re looking for someone who genuinely understands and adores dogs, I’d love to welcome your pup into our home and extended fur-family Hi, I am a lifelong dog lover, proud husband and dad, and someone who’s spent nearly 30 years helping people as a mental health professional and consultant. At home, though, I’m happiest surrounded by my family and my two amazing dogs, who love welcoming new furry friends into our little pack. I often joke that dogs have been some of my best teachers (and sometimes better company than humans!), and creating a home filled with warmth, laughter, and wagging tails is one of my favorite things. Whether I’m supporting people through my work or caring for pups in my home, my approach is the same: lead with kindness, stay grounded, and make everyone feel like they belong. At home, I care for my dogs with a mix of structure, play, and genuine affection—daily walks, plenty of exercise, consistent routines, and lots of cuddle time. I make sure they’re mentally stimulated, well-fed, and always feeling safe and loved. Whether we’re relaxing at home, exploring parks, visiting dog-friendly spots, or going on little adventures, I keep their comfort and happiness at the center of everything. I treat every dog in my care the same way I treat my own: with patience, attention, and a commitment to making them feel secure, understood, and part of the family.
“Very responsive and friendly. Received pictures everyday. Clean and safe home settings. Gets walk and play time everyday. Very happy with how Caty cares for my fur baby. Will definitely book her again.”
