“Donna and Roland couldn’t have been nicer to our dog. They were very warm and attentive to him and treated him as if he were their own. When he arrived for his stay with them he was on an antibiotic for a gingival problem and they were very responsible regarding his meds. We could not have asked for better care. Unfortunately our dog did not get along with their cat or we would be re-booking with them”

We were amazed at how Riley quickly became comfortable! He was welcomed by Julia and soon learned the daily routine. Julia sent us tons of pictures - daily walks, playing with her dog, cuddling and napping. Her knowledge of puppies and training is very deep, and her quiet way was very reassuring to us, and for Riley. About: I’ve been caring for dogs and cats my entire life, with most of my pets coming from shelters and rescues. This experience has given me a strong appreciation for different temperaments, routines, and comfort levels. Currently, I live with my partner Caley (also on Rover!) and an 8 year old domestic shorthair cat named Barnett. We reside in walking distance of North Beach in Hampton. I primarily work from home, which gives me excellent flexibility for walks and drop-in visits throughout the day. I am in the office a day or two, but am typically able to shift days in order accommodate walks. I take safety seriously and treat every pet as if they were my own. I follow all care instructions closely, use secure equipment, and tailor walks to each pet’s needs. About: For pretty much most of my entire life I’ve had a dog. I gave them all the love I had and they did the same right back at me. Currently we own a beautiful 4yr old Golden named Sammy. He is gentile playful loving and silly. When a dog walks into our home it takes about 30 seconds and just like that Sammys got a new best friend. My business is in insurance sales which has me doing most of my work from home. This allows me to take great care of my dog Sammy and any of his friends. We’ve got a spacious open concept home with a big grassy fenced in back yard for lots of play time. We can also easily crate your dog if needed. She all-ways eats at the same time and has enrichment toys throughout the day to keep her anxiety levels down and ease stress. We end our day with another “sniff” walk then snuggle on the couch together with a late night let out to end the night.

About: Donna and I started taking care of dogs when we lost our Chesapeake Bay Retriever, Dutchin. We got her when she was 3 months old and she was our baby. When she crossed the Rainbow Bridge, we couldn't bring ourselves to get another dog, but wanted to still experience the joy that dogs bring to our lives. We decided to provide both care and a safe, loving home for other people's pets while their humans are away or otherwise unable to care for them short-term. This way, we can give you peace of mind in knowing your best friend is safe and happy, and we get to interact with all kinds of dogs, which gives us great joy! Your friend will get all the love and attention you give them; and, well, if we spoil them a bit too much, sorry (not sorry)! We are both retired, so we have plenty of time to care for your pets whether in our home or yours. We are available for walks, drop in visits and overnight boarding in our home. When boarding with us, your fur baby will never be alone as someone is always home. We have a large fenced-in yard where your dog can run and play off leash safely. Are your pets used to making themselves at home on the couch? Not a problem! They are more than welcome to snuggle up on ours. If you wish to make your pet a little more at home, you may bring your pet's bed, toys and/or crate.

Had not used them before, but after our initial meet and greet I felt confident they both had Mia’s best interest in mind and they genuinely love taking care of dogs! I was able to relax while gone and knew Mia was in a good place and having fun. Will definitely use John and Donna again !”

“Our minidoodle Sam had a great stay with Charlotte and Jordan, and their dog Kyber. Two things we especially like: They generally just take one dog at a time (more attention, and Sam loves attention!), and they live near some great walking trails. Very nice people.”

“My Otis had a blast with Kane and Colette! They gave me updates and pictures multiple times through out the day, which was amazing!
