About: I’m a licensed veterinarian in Brazil and I’ve been surrounded by dogs my entire life. My father is a huge dog lover, so I grew up helping care for our family pets from a very young age. In Brazil, I had four dogs who are now happily living with my parents. Here in the U.S., I have my sweet mini Goldendoodle, Madalena, who is very friendly and loves having company. Because of my background in Veterinary Medicine and my lifelong experience with dogs of all sizes and personalities, I feel very confident providing safe, responsible, and attentive care. I treat every pet as if they were my own. I work at a coffee shop from 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. After 3:30 p.m., I’m fully available for pet care, including walks, drop-in visits, and overnight house sitting. On Sundays and Mondays, I’m off from work and available all day for boarding, daycare, and other services. Your dog’s safety and comfort always come first. I offer a calm, clean, and cozy home environment where pets can relax, play, and feel secure. My mini Goldendoodle, Madalena, is very friendly and gentle, which helps visiting dogs feel more comfortable and welcomed. Whether your pet stays in my home or I care for them in yours, I always follow their routine exactly as instructed—feeding, walks, potty breaks, playtime, and rest. About: Without exception, the dog park is always one of the best parts of my day. I've had three dogs of my own, and have been around countless other dogs, most of whom instantly become my new best friends. We just gravitate to each other, hence the fuzzy friend whisperer nickname. I have a playful, loving attitude toward every dog I meet. I am also sensitive to dogs who need a little more patience and space to ease into trusting me and respect the boundaries that they need to do that. My training style with my own dogs is focused on positive reinforcement rather than punishment. This approach translates to other dogs as well, unless their owners request differently. Your dog will be in caring, responsible hands with me. They will be loved. Vogel Emergency Vet just opened right across the street from our house, so if anything kind of emergency pops up, your baby will be a hop, skip and a jump away from the care they need. I'm self employed and work mostly from home so my schedule is quite flexible. Sometimes I’ll have drop in visits throughout the day, but if your dog is boarding with me, there will generally be someone else at home with them. They’ll rarely, if ever be left alone. I live on a small farm but also live near a road, so your dog will always be safely on a leash when we go outside for potty breaks. I have a very friendly 12 year old 45lb labradoodle named Huck to keep your baby company in the rare cases that I'm not at home. I have a "squirrel observatory" (bird feeder) right near my workspace so your dog will not only be supervised most of the time but also entertained.
