My name is Rose, and for more than 20 years, I’ve been perfecting the magical art of caring for animals. From mischievous puppies who seem to have mastered the art of disappearing under furniture, to wise old souls who prefer a quiet evening by the fire, I’ve spent decades learning exactly what makes our four legged companions feel safe, happy, and loved. At Pawtermores, your pets aren’t simply checked in and forgotten about. They become temporary residents of the Magical Menagerie, where they can relax, play, receive plenty of attention, and enjoy a little enchantment while their humans are away. Whether they’re staying for one day, several days, a month, or even longer, my goal is to make their time away from home feel as comfortable and stress free as possible. I have experience caring for puppies, senior pets, and animals requiring medications and injections. I believe every creature has their own personality, quirks, needs, and preferences, and I take the time to get to know each one individually. After all, there’s no one size fits all spell when it comes to caring for animals. When the weather is warm, our magical adventures can even take us to the beach, because sometimes a little sunshine and sand is exactly the potion needed for a happy pup. I take the responsibility of caring for your pets very seriously. You’re trusting me with members of your family, and I want you to have the same peace of mind as someone who has just received a letter from Hogwarts knowing their pets are somewhere safe and well cared for. And because every magical creature deserves a little something to remember their stay by, each pet goes home with a brand new toy and a special goody bag. Whether you’re discovering Pawtermores Magical Menagerie for the first time or returning for another stay, your furry companion is always welcome through my doors. I solemnly swear that your pets will be spoiled. The toys may be scattered, the zoomies may be unleashed, and a little mischief may certainly occur, but by the time their stay is complete… Mischief Will Be Managed. 💚

This was second time using Rose and it was great. She is very accommodating and you can tell Roy has an awesome time!

Rose has been great for us and more importantly for Roy this week. She has a great location that allows for plenty of outdoor activity and has a friendly dog of her own that loves to play. This was perfect for our Doberman puppy. Highly recommended

Rose did a wonderful job taking care of our dog, Calvin! From the moment we dropped him off, she made us feel completely at ease. She sent regular updates, photos, and check ins to let us know how he was doing, which really gave us peace of mind while we were away. It was clear that Calvin felt comfortable and loved in her care. He looked so happy in every picture!

Schedule
I have cared for a wide variety of animals. This includes dogs, cats, birds, hamsters, rabbits, rats, guinea pigs, and so much more! My ultimate goal is to ensure each and every pet is in the best care and has the most comfort. Pets are family, and I believe in providing each pet, with the same love and care I would offer my own furry companions.

Safety, trust & environment
To ensure a pets safety, and to gain their trust, I always offer them patience. It’s always best to be calm with pets that are withdrawn or scared. All pets can be sensitive to change and may be missing their owners. I always make sure to maintain their schedule as much as possible. When the pet is settled, I will send lots of pictures to the client, because the owners are more than likely nervous as well. I never open doors without making sure all pets are safe, and I do allow pets to sleep in bed with me. It’s always comforting for pets to feel safe and loved.

A typical day
A typical day in my home, caring for pets involves ensuring their physical and mental well being is always okay! They will get plenty of exercise, and playtime, while also ensuring they stay groomed, happy, and healthy. I will provide a safe and comfortable environment, and if weather is great, I will even take your pet/s to the beach!

- When watching your pet, I would love to know all about your pet's basic needs, any behavioral issues, and any specific requirements they may have while staying in my home. This includes daily routines, feeding times, medications, potential triggers, and how the pet reacts to new situations or people. I will also need to be informed about any health issues, allergies, or sensitivities, and how to handle specific situations like emergencies if one should arise. [This has never happened in my home but it’s always better to be safe than sorry 🩷.]
