“Elma stayed with our two dogs in Lake Arrowhead for two full weeks. They are like our children so we are very picky about leaving them when we travel, but we’re new to living up on the mountain so we had to try someone new (our previous house/dogsitter is just too far away). We are so happy we picked Elma! She sent photos and videos of them almost every day, and they looked super happy and entertained, so that set our minds at ease while we were gone. Upon returning, we found the house clean and the dogs very happy to see us, but not at all anxious or overly needy, which tells me they were very well taken care of while we were away. Five stars!!!!”

About: I'm an Animal science major on the pre veterinary track at UC Davis which gives be background to provide the best care for our animals! I am a current college student on summer break! I have three household pets with one being my cat. I fit my schedule around theirs as I know routine builds a great foundation! I follow any regulations or information provided for the pet specifically to ensure safety such as medications . I make sure to learn the animals behaviors as well as take things at the animals pace to ensure safety on both ends. I also use my animal science knowledge from college as I am an animal science student.

About: Hello! I am Woody’s Owner ( 2 yo, m, Aussie, 55 lbs) and you got a friend in me! I am communicative, positive, and flexible with your needs. I am high energy, loving, and helpful. Here’s a little about my pet experience: I have volunteered at animal shelters since I was fifteen years old. I have experience with reptiles, birds, cats, and dogs. I enjoy backpacking, hiking, trail walks, and simply crocheting at home with the tv on. I like to watch the next Netflix drama hit, obviously. I have activities to do with high energy dogs and even low energy ones. See you’ve got a friend in me. I’ve got you through the highs and lows. I have open availability most of the week. I am open to any routines owners would like me to continue for their pets. This can be related to food, exercise, medication, and so on. My dog is kennel trained, so he can be separated from any other dogs I’m sitting if the dog I am sitting is not socialized. However, my dog is socialized and will be happy to have a playmate. I can take your pet out as often as you require and I can transport dogs to the dog park if that is okay. I also have extra feeding and water bowls, as well as toys and treats for any dog I am sitting. I also have a fenced yard.

About: Although I dont have any pets myself, I have had plenty experience working and taking care of cats and dogs. I am more than qualified to help because I am patient, and passionate about caring for pets. I have a flexible schedule I usually work weekends part time at a restaurant so I have the time to be able to walk or feed any cat or dog any day of the week. I dont have any pets myself so that would give me the time to be able to help take care of others. It depends on the standards of the owner, with dogs its important to walk them with a secure leash and make sure to let them walk around and sniff before doing their bussiness, I will always pick up after them to ensure a clean neighborhood. With cats and dogs you want to make sure to open the door slowly when walking inside and keep them indoors so they are safe.

“Parker was great with our pups for a nearly 3 week house sitting stay. He was very responsive and took wonderful care of all 3 of our huskies! Huskies can be very demanding on attention and care and Parker handled it with ease - not to mention walking 3 huskies twice a day is no easy task! The pups all took to him right away when we did our meet and greet and we felt very comfortable with having him stay in our home so we could enjoy our vacation without worry. He was very communicative and took great care of the house. He went above and beyond with helping keep the place clean and watering our plants outside! We feel we can take more trips now without worry as we have a great sitter available and knows our pups through and through. About: I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life mostly Rottweilers and I’m very used to big dog breeds that need extra care. I have dog sat for my parents in the past, and dog sat for two residents at an apartment complex I used to live at. One owner had me babysit their sweet dog five days a week from 8am-7pm and the other I did drop ins for to take them outside while their owners were away. I’ve always had a passion for taking care of dogs and am a huge dog lover. I’m currently a student at California state university of Fullerton, I have classes twice a week so the rest of the week days I’m at home studying or doing homework. I’d love to fill my days off of school with something that I enjoy doing. I learn instructions and rules very fast, anything you need me to do to ensure the safety and care of your dog I will easily provide. I am very reliable and responsible and can easily adapt to new environments. I want to make your pets feel comfortable and happy while they are in my care. About: Hello my furry friend lovers!! I have cared for many different kinds of animals in my life, some of which include dogs,cats,birds,mice,rabbits,guinea pigs,fish,snakes,goats,chickens and now pot belly pigs. We love making homemade treats in our house so I am currently taking some pet nutrition classes to safely make special dietary treats. I am comfortable with all ages and sizes. I would be more than happy to meet you before any final decisions are made so that we can discuss everything there is to know about your pet. I have experience with different illnesses and medications from working with a rescue where I adopted my own angel with a neurological disorder. We absolutely adore pets and I can promise you that you and your baby will be treated like family. I am a stay at home wife that is taking pet nutrition and business classes so I could someday open my own pet boutique where everything is homemade. I promise no potty breaks will be missed and your baby gets all the love and cuddles they can handle. 😊 We have dogs, cats and pot belly pigs for your pet to play with in our fenced yard but we also have big crates for separation if needed. Your baby will be allowed on our furniture to sleep and get cuddles unless you say otherwise lol we do love our snuggles.

About: Hello, I’ve walked dogs for two years. Friends and neighbors trusted me to make sure their pets get their daily walk and food. I fostered a dog for 6 months and have a cat named Naomi. Fun fact I rescued my cat as a kitten that was found in my backyard. Originally thought it was a girl but Naomi is a boy and the name has stayed! I took Sugar after one of my fathers friends was about to sender her. She is smart and I have trained her to be friendly with other dogs as she did not socialize before she met my family. Having a half lab half German shepherd means you have to have constant walks and high energy but it also keeps me in shape to walk and play with your furry family members. Currently I have open availability during the summer. During the school year I work as an avid tutor/ substitute teacher for FCPS. I’m also a student at Marymount university! I study accounting and finance. Classes are online and at night. I always check gates, fences, and doors before I enter and leave houses. It helps make sure that everything is secure. I like to have contact to make sure I know how I can enter the house and where to park. As well as know where the pets food, water, leash, toys, and bags are. I will update and send pictures to make sure you know your pet is in good hands.

About: I’ve always had animals around while growing up. I don’t think I can recall a time I haven’t had a pet. I even insisted on rescuing my dear Daizie May when I was 12 from the pound. I’ve helped raise several litters and rescue any dog I see in need. I have to actively stay off Facebook as to not fall into fostering or taking in any animal in need. My boyfriend calls me a Disney Princess with the way I communicate with my animals. It’s all about body language, respect, and patience. Trust is extremely important. About: I prioritize clear, timely communication with owners and provide honest updates, photos, and notes after each visit. I have taken care of several different pets such as cats and dogs. I will always ensure the best care for the pets under my supervision. I can also keep up with high energy pets, but also provide calm energy for the pets who like to just hang around. I am currently working part time and will be attending medical school starting in the fall. My weekends are almost always free and can frequently provide overnight care during the week. I will ensure to provide clear and frequent communication with host when taking care of your pets in your home or when visiting. About: I’ve worked with pets of all kinds for more than 20 years. I’ve worked with cats, dogs, birds, fish, lizards, snakes, gerbils, hamsters, rabbits, toads, hermit crabs, and snails. I do charge slightly more for snails because while slow, they are slippery little suckers. I am very organized. I focus on having a routine for the animals because they need it and appreciate it. I know most animals appreciate predictability and attention. I only go to a client’s home. I would rather see the pet on their turf and follow their rules as opposed to taking them out of their safety zone.

About: I have taken care of friends’ dogs throughout my graduate school, with watching dogs up to 3wks at a time providing ample walks, belly rubs, play time, baths, and comfort during their stay while balancing a busy schedule. Since finishing up school and starting career in the research sector, I have moved to SoCal with my boyfriend and our 1yr puppy (black lab + chihuahua mix). Now in a career transition, I have even more flexibility to ensure your pet is cared for like they are my own. I am currently in a career transition post my PhD in Bioengineering, and mainly at home spending time on remote work, applications, and walking our dog, Mozzi. This transition period provides a lot of free time, close eye, and dedication needed for pet care. I ensure pets are cared for by keeping a well kept home that the dog/cat cannot access anything that could put them in harm’s way (such as excess treats, unhealthy food). There are cleaning and safety supplies readily available if there is an accident. I am an extrovert & avid communicator, requesting former individualized instructions from pet owners, asking questions if anything unusual arises, and keeping owners in the loop to put them at ease. Additionally, I do not have pets of my own currently, but to provide a safe environment, I will always ask owner’s preferences on socializing their dog/cat during walks, down time, etc. to get to know the pet’s behaviors more and instill trust I will care for them respecting owner’s insights and the pet’s comforts/personality. The apartment has indoor room for a pet, and the area has plenty of trails to explore and provide exciting, safe walking adventures!

About: I’ve had a German shepherd/ Rottweiler since she was a puppy to her ripe old age of 13. I understand the endless energy of young dogs and the mellow stills with the oldies. Personally I enjoy walks. And dogs make it that much better. Typically I let them follow their nose and I’m there for safety. If you have a dog that like to run tell them to bring it because it’s a daily challenge to see if I’m faster. Yes they will be tired and nap well. I have a flexible schedule and work remote. I’m in the transition of jobs and college. It’s a perfect task for me to stay busy and keep me doing things I enjoy My dogs my baby. I try to make things exciting for her and am consistent for walks. For her particular diet I follow it somewhat strictly. But I find was to make sure she gets a variety of healthy treats throughout the day. I like to keep her well groomed and attempt to get in a daily brush if she will let me. But other then that I let her sleep if she wants to and I’ll play if she is ready.
