When we returned Honey had several new BFFs: Christy and her canine savvy family, with couch-snuggle photos as proof; and Phoebe (Christy’s own golden retriever). Christy’s day plan nailed all Honey's need—timed meals and potty breaks along with the perfect play–nap balance. Christy sent updates and snapshots, so we stayed relaxed and guilt free at the park. I had zero pet-parent stress. When I picked up Honey she trotted out tail-wagging, paws dragging, slightly heavier (treats happen!) and blissfully wiped out. About: NEW TO ROVER but not new to pet care! I’ve been caring for pets for the past 5 years on various sites. My home is welcome to all types of furry friends and my fully fenced backyard is perfect for playtime. As a former pet owner, I know how deeply we love our babies. I also understand that sometimes assistance is needed, and that’s where I am happy to come in. Currently I work remotely part-time and supplement my free days working as a substitute teacher. On the days I work from home, I’m usually there all day and on the days I’m in the classroom I typically leave around 2:30 p.m. as Head Start, preschool and kindergarten are my bread and butter. Funny enough, there's a lot of overlap between early education and pet sitting. They both take kindness, attentiveness, and a good sense of humor! I live in a single-family home in a residential neighborhood with a fence in my backyard and many shaded sidewalks. This allows your furry friend to play outside (if they want to), take walks around the neighborhood, or stay in the house with me. I will always adhere to any feeding or walking schedules and if I’m in your home, I will do my best to stick to any routines already in place and ensure a seamless transition for your pet. Zahara is amazing, she was very caring and loving for my pup! My puppy Rue is very active and she was able to play and keep Rue company. We met Keith, Cara and their daughter for a meet and greet since we weren’t sure how our dog was going to be around children, and we instantly felt welcomed and they will be able to take good care of our pup! We made them aware that our dog might slightly be anxious around strangers, but he ended up settling in their house at the end of the day. They sent us many photos (which we appreciated) and updated us on how our dog is doing. They were also very flexible with the pickup/drop off times. We definitely will be using their services again!
